Lola Rose servers are the best: attentive, caring, and charismatic. Perfect. We ordered several tapas as appetizers, and they were good. I ordered the Lamb Kafta Kabob with the Roasted Eggplant. I loved the Roasted eggplant, which I highly recommend. The lamb was very tender. I enjoyed. The yoghurt sauce served with the lamb is rich with paprika. I ordered the Lola Rose cocktail, and it was good. Then I ordered the Moscow Mule, which was terrific, but when others ordered, it was evident that the same bartender had not prepared their drinks. Their coffee cocktail was Amazing! Lola Rose is Beautifully decorated, the restaurant has low lights, and their music is a bit loud. Overall, it was a neat experience. We visited Lola Rose for a Girl's Night Out. The party coordinator requested a private area days in advance to ensure the 10 of us could have fun without being too noisy. From the moment we arrived, we asked several times for the curtains of our private area to be closed, but the staff did not close them. Then, when they finally did (after we had finished our dinner), the curtains were not fully closed, so I got up to close them; one of the staff seemed upset and made it clear to me that they had a business and we were being too loud. Once I fully closed the curtains, the waitress stated that the curtains had helped keep our noise down. At that time, I felt bad we had disturbed the restaurant, especially knowing it could have been avoided if the curtains had been closed all along. Based on our experience, Lola Rose may not be for group gatherings but definitely for date night.

A guy pal was having a special birthday and I offered to take him for a special birthday dinner. He requested Lola Rosa, so I easily made reservations for an early dinner on Saturday. We were greeted by friendly staff and quickly seated . The inter I r was fool and delightful- the ambiance is sort of a lag garden or a ritzy tropical locale. We ordered cocktails and there were fabulous. Our server, Michelle, recommender different ryes for my pal's old fashioned and I had the Yacht to Ibiza...yes I was floating away on a delightful voyage. We ordered the citrus salad and the hummus for starters- both were really tasty. For the main, he ordered the pasta with shrimp and I ordered the NY steak topped with two eggs over easy- I taught several Pilates classes that morning so I wanted some protein! Bothe meals were beautifully plated, and tasted great. We ended the meal with cappuccino, the signature latte and a Mediterranean cheesecake dessert. Michelle made the event special with a birthday sparkler. The food was so good I never eat my entire meal, but today I did...well my pal did eat a lot off my plate after he polished off his own! You almost could not stop eating it was that good. So I had been here a year ago and please note that they updated their menu about 6-7 months ago and I love the new menu, there is something g for everyone on this new brunch menu from steak to French toast, chilaquiles, and pancakes. The brunch menu changes over to the dinner menu at 3 PM.

    Shrimp Pasta was delicious!!

Lola Rose is an absolute gem! The ambiance and decor on the inside is such a vibe. The service was exceptional and the food was even better. As I expand my horizon getting to know more dining options here in El Paso, Lola Rose is at the top spot. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their brunch and dinner menus.

This is a very nice spot. Felt like going into a VIP spot. That's how you were treated as well. Had a somewhat dark/intimate ambiance. The food was fantastic. I got the Guacho Carne Asada and gf got the Lola's Magdalena. The Carne asada was a NY strip cooked medium rare and topped with a fried egg and piled high with shoe string fries. Looked like a lot but was the perfect portion. Tender flavorful, just hit the spot. Lola's Magdalena was a walnut banana bread with berries and wheat berries and came with a latte that you can either drink or pour on the bread, which I recommend. Gave it such a better flavor. First time here, and it was a great experience. It is an awesome date spot or to have brunch with friends. Will be back to try dinner.

I had the impression to be back in France at a sophisticated lounge with cool Buddha bar music. By hey reality check - we are in El Paso. The atmosphere is feutre and discotheque like. The food was orignal but simple in its conception and presentation. We had the Octopus for a starter that was tender but the sauce was too spicy for our taste. The Lamb chops were medium rare and rose really cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed their version of a French ratatouille. The tagliatelle with lobster were also a classic dish and delicious. Great service very attentive. Overall a great experience but a little bit on the pricey side.

Wowed!! the decor is vibrant but dark If that makes sense! It's lively but private. And trendy but Intimate. Celebrated my birthday there and was received with sparklers and a bottle of champagne (NOT complimentary but requested at reservation). We came into their new Fall menu so the one on the website is different but not a problem! Even better! The waiter was very accommodating and explained the menu very well!! Omg the food!!! Started with the hummus appetizer and we licked the plate clean!!! It came w different sauces and vegetables on the side with flavors that just made you wanting more!!! We shared the lobster pasta (my fave!!!), the salmon (it was good too but they over cooked - I asked for medium rare- it was dry but the flavor was on point), and the tortellini special in white sauce was really really flavorful!! I am a fan of large single cubes in my drinks so that was a happy bonus!! Plus they were tasty! I had the "Death becomes Her" as my cognac aperitif and it did not disappoint!!! The dessert cake was sooooo perfect !! It was the best I've had and I'm not a sweets person bc it's always so sweet!- but it was not overly sweet and topped w almonds and I LoVEd !!! I kinda feel like my "golden ticket" dessert should have been complimentary but it's not a deal breaker !! Be ready to drop at least $150 per person but worth it!!!

"Death becomes her" great fall drink. Makes me want to drink this by a fire place.

We've been back a few times since and we've blown away each time. This time we had Wendy, and her drinks were spectacular! Wowsers! Gabriel was also so knowledgeable! We had a blast!! Will continue to return every Saturday because we're addicted to these hand crafted drinks.

We had a reservation on Saturday to celebrate Valentine's Day a bit late and they said they didn't have our table because there was a system error. So disappointed. We had a drink at the bar but that ruined our plans.

Pretty good experience! The service was great! The ambience definitely gives off a la Vegas style restaurant which was cool. If you're going her to talk a lot then it may be a little hard cause it is a little loud but it's not overbearing. We enjoyed the food! Lobster pasta 10/10 - with chunks of lobster Fish 9/10 - good flavor Cocktails 10/10 - great balance of sweet and a little strong Would try again for brunch one day for sure!

    La Almuerza

My spouse and I went to Lola Rose for brunch, and we didn't have a reservation for but we were sat right away. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. My wife asked for a recommendation and he came through with La Almuerza and I ordered The Benedict's which came with roasted potatoes. The ambiance is very clean and inviting. We will be back to try lunch or dinner. The lobster pasta is calling my name!

The vibe here is very relaxed and upscale at the same time. Their patio is encased so even on windy days it's nice. The servers are very knowledgeable and nice. I really can't say enough about them. We got the charcuterie board for an appetizer which was amazing. And then I got their salmon kabobs. The whole table got one of every dessert to try them out and I highly recommend the gelato.

We finally visit Lola on a Saturday night. Still same great service! There was a slight fluke with my risotto but they remade the meal for me. I was super impressed. Definitely a great place to hang and enjoyed excellent food. My mommy friends and I were delighted

Ambiance - Cute restaurant with appropriate decor. I loved the ceiling because of the different patterns and colors. It definitely made the atmosphere feel more homey. Service - Seems like there was only one server but he was very polite and attentive. Did in a great job especially with the amount of tables and people that were present. Food - Had the traditional combo and gyro wrap w/ chicken orzo soup. The fatayer was a really pleasant surprise and was probably the best thing off the traditional combo. Gyro wrap was fresh and well proportioned. My favorite was the chicken orzo soup! Will definitely be the soup I go for on a sick day. It's a little hidden but definitely worth the find. The food here has a different style than what you normally find in a mediterranean food, but interesting and delicious nonetheless. The traditional combo is a great way to try some of the more interesting items, but the fatayer and chicken orzo soup were standouts for me! Will be back to try other things.

He said the meat was incredibly flavorful and tender, but there was a bit too much veg for him. I thought it looked fine, but he's a little anti-lettuce :-) Since we were eating at home, I doctored up the tabouli a bit with extra lemon juice and garlic. It was delicious! The hummus was pretty good too. Portion sizes were incredible for the price, especially the sides. Honestly my only complaint and reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars was because the warm pita strips for the hummus were delivered in a tied off plastic bag, and the trapped steam made the bread a bit soggy. I understand it has to be hard to deliver certain foods - may just have to try them in-person sometime and give them a better shot!

If you want a taste of excellent Persian food in El Paso, Tasty Kabob is definitely worth a visit…read more The appetizers are a great place to start. Try their Sampler with ghormeh sabzi, Shirazi salad, and hummus; are all prepared fresh and have that unmistakable homemade quality. The Shirazi salad is particularly refreshing, with bright flavors that pair beautifully with the richer grilled dishes, while the hummus is smooth, fresh, and perfect for sharing. The chicken kabob is one of my favorites--tender, juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled just right. The beef kabob is outstanding, flavorful and beautifully cooked, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The accompanying Persian rice and tahdig are equally memorable. The crispy tahdig combined with fragrant rice and barberries provides a wonderful contrast of textures and flavors--the slight tartness of the berries works exceptionally well with the grilled meats. Eshi, the owner snd chef prepares the food à la minute, and you can taste the freshness in each dish. Service was a little slow during our visit because a new chef was being trained, but the quality of the food made the wait worthwhile. The Persian-inspired décor adds a pleasant cultural touch, but the real reason to come here is the food: fresh appetizers, excellent kabobs, and some genuinely delicious Persian rice and tahdig.
