Luckily, it was restaurant week so we got to enjoy the brunch kamayan deal which came with a cold brew or mimosa for $35. THE FOOD: It was actually my first time eating kamayan, so was definitely excited for the experience! It fed 1-2 people, and I think it was good enough for me and my friend to share. The garlic rice was an amazing base for all of the dishes on the kamayan, with the longanisa and tocino being my favorite. Both were perfectly sweet, and the tocino was rich and tender. Beef tapa and chicken adobo were also good, and the lumpia was on par with past lumpia I've had. The cherry tomato salad was a nice palate cleanser. They have thai chilis available, either whole or sliced, and there were condiments at the table like banana ketchup, seasoning sauce, and hot sauces. It's enough for 2-4 people per their menu and I can see it feeding 2 hungry and hearty eaters or just 4 people with an okay appetite. Friend and I did not finish with plenty to take home to enjoy. I especially liked the longanisa (sausage) and tocino (pork) for their flavor and paired with the garlic rice. I did find the chicken adobo a bit bland compared to the rest. We also split the $18 cold brew flight to try the ube, pandan, thai tea, and milo chocolate cold brews. Because we split the flight and with a good amount of ice, most of the 4 tasted watered down, so I recommend ordering a regular size cold brew to enjoy the taste and caffeine. I think I would've liked the Thai tea cold brew the best, but hard to tell when the ice was in the way. Parking can be packed here during rush time. It was easy to find a spot at 10:30 am, but not at 12 pm when I arrived just in time to pull into a spot that someone was vacating. The Tesla charging stalls did also take away some of the parking. I didn't see if there was any issues parking in the spaces you'd pass when you drive in, though I did notice the area before the restaurants get blocked off for paid event parking. We had a very good breakfast here, everyone in our party finished their plates. I tried a little bit of everyone's dishes and everything tasted great. The ube horchata and ube cold brew, yum, both so good. My son devoured his iloko Moco and the lumpiang shanghai. There were no leftovers. The dishes are on the smaller side which I actually prefer. Perfect amount of food for one person to eat. There was plenty of seating when we arrived. The place was clean and inviting. Service was good, our dishes and drinks came out quickly. read more
