Nice clean Salon and friendly staff. I have been there twice now. The first myself and my 5 yr old grand daughter she got a cut and I had my extensions moved up. Then again yesterday I had my extensions removed after a year and a half just to take a break and got a trim. Both times amazing with Trae, I wish I could remember the name of the young woman that did my grand daughter's sadly I don't. I can say this my grand daughter walked out feeling like a princess for the next two days flipping her hair around. I wish I had taken pictures, but sadly I did not. read more

Great experience with Todd. My virgin hair processed very easily, so my result was lighter than originally intended. It still looked amazing after Todd styled it for me. We talked about it, and he said he could put more color in for me right now if I wanted... I asked to live in it for a few days and make a decision. He said no problem... just log in to the online schedule and grab a spot if I decide I want more color in the next week or two. I did go back for more color, and I was very satisfied with my second visit as well. It's been about 2 months. My color is still very vibrant, although I do use color safe products, try not to expose my hair to more heat than necessary, etc. Just booked my next appointment for the end of October. I have waited to write this review because I don't want everyone to know how amazing this salon is. From booking online to being greeted at the front door , everything was easy, breezy and seamless. I booked a partial foil and cut with Leah. She was truly amazing. She listened to everything I wanted. We discussed my hair needs and then she interpreted everything for the best possible outcome for my hair. She even did a special Brazilian treatment on my hair, as I travel a lot and my hair has a lot of build up from different water sources. I walked out of the salon feeling brand new. I'm always a little bit nervous going to new salons after having a few bad experiences in the past, so I did my research before coming here. Booked with Leah for a cut and color after almost a year with no haircut due to COVID, and holy cow. She worked with me to find a cut and color that would work with my hair (and what it's been through with hard water, stress and previous bleaching). I'm usually the last person to write a bad review. Especially after paying, tipping etc. I gave my color 3 weeks to settle in with me before having to go get a color correction. Becca had a full foil with me, and basically gave me a terrible block streak job with no toner. Sitting down in the chair was fine- although it wasn't wiped down? And neither was the robe so I was COVERED in someone else's hair after leaving. 1st problem. I asked for a blended blonde full foil with dimension. I got a 90's yellow disaster. 2nd problem. After the foils were placed and washed out- I asked about toner. She said she already put it on. Without even talking to me about what kind of toner I would want. I asked a second time if she was sure she put toner. She said she did, but She didn't. 3rd problem. After coming to a new salon to fix this, they showed me that she didn't even do a full foil which I paid for, didn't do a toner, and really took advantage of the situation. I hate to be the type of person who writes a bad review- but when your stylist literally tells you she is "lazy" and you end up with blocky yellow hair.... You have to let others know. I made a last minute decision to get balayage on my natural hair with absolutely no color. I called and got an appointment that started in 45 mins. I knew exactly what I wanted to look like and the end result is what I wanted. It took about 40 minutes of time to wait until the color sets. I was offered tea when I got in, showed the look I wanted to the stylist, and we were down to business soon after. I tried very hard to have some conversation with the stylist, I asked some basic questions about her day, her, my color, upon which I was told that I should stop asking questions and just know that I will look like in the picture. I found that quite rude. I wasn't asking about the chemical composition of the mix, I asked some basic questions and mostly trying to be polite and converse. When the color was done, she washed my hair but needed to go get something. It felt like eternity. The hair washing chair is very uncomfortable for your neck when you wait there for long. Even the cheap places give scalp massage and when I am about to pay approx. $200, I expected such service, but I didn't get any. True that I came 9 minutes after my scheduled time, and my excuse was I took the only last minute opening and it was a hard place to find in a part of town I've never been to, but it was real rushed at the end. I did however appreciate that she dried and curled my har despite being rushed. All in all, the result looks almost the same as I wanted to look and she was fast and efficient and knew what she was doing. I just wish it was more personable and simply put nicer. Spending 3 hours with anyone is a long time. read more

I had a great first visit here! I made a reservation online with Leah for a cut/balayage after reading reviews and literally received the best service and cut/color ever! I should have visited before when I lived a few blocks away. Leah was really good at listening to what I wanted. I showed her a few pictures and she knew without me saying anything exactly what would look good on me. She trimmed my hair to look fresh without going too short, as I mentioned I was trying to grow it out. She adjusted my color to be more fresh and natural and made product recommendations to avoid brassiness as I struggle with that between colorings. I received a great cut with beautiful dimension that was much easier to style. On top of that, even at full price, I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable everything was. Leah is a hair magician! I had my first balayage treatment with Leah and cannot day enough good things. My hair turned out exactly as I had hoped and looked like the pictures I showed her. I came to this salon because of the good reviews on here so I felt obligated to share my experience. Becca was my stylist and she teased my hair before putting in the foils, making it super tangled after washing it and then used a dirty plastic comb to rip out so much hair and break off the ends. Leaving my hair super damaged and frail. It was much more painful than relaxing. She the told me my hair is going to be damaged and I need a haircut and that's what you get when you want to go super blonde and bleach your hair. I am already natural a light blonde just wanted to get it lighter and match the roots I have done it many other places that didn't use bleach or leave my hair so damaged after. The results were no where near what I asked for and look splotchy and messy. I have had beauty school students practice on my hair do a way better job. Would not recommend this place.... read more

I got a cut and balayage with Tanya and really like how it turned out! Tanya was super friendly and easy to talk to, and the salon felt safe and clean with good COVID precautions. Before my haircut my hair was rough and damaged (especially on the ends), so I chopped off a couple inches to freshen it up. Tanya was very detail oriented in layering my hair so that my ends will hopefully feel fresh longer if we end up going into another shutdown. The balayage experience was fun - after lightening, my hair was bright and warm (yellowish), as it often is when I get a balayage. Tanya suggested we try some silver/pewter toner to cool it down, and the end result was an ashy blonde with silver shine. The change took a couple days to adjust to after I got home from the salon, but now I'm three days out and I love it! 4 out of 5 stars because my balayage ended up being more expensive than I anticipated based on the advertised price when booking my appointment - the process took a really long time and we had to use a lot of toner (I have a lot of hair), which added to the cost. However, I'm super happy with the end result and I think it was worth every penny! I'll definitely be coming back for my next appointment. read more

I made an appt with Todd for the brazilian blowout for 5:30. Making apt in the evenings make me a bit nervous, cause everyone is tired by the end of the day and i feel like they might not do justice to this tedious process. But I was busy and needed the hair tamed. Brett greeted me at the front desk and was polite and offered me a glass of water while i waited. Todd was running a few minutes late but he addressed it and told me he should be ready soon. which he was. He did an amazing job! the blowout looks great and my hair is touchable again :) i had a bad haircut a few months ago. todd trimmed my hair without charging extra. Very few people i know actually care about the customer the way Todd does. They will be seeing me here a couple of times a year and all my friends too. If you want to get a keratin treatment or Brazilian blowout done. Please visit these guys. they are awesome! As for the indian community goes, i am taking it upon myself to spread the word- u will be seeing a lot of us. I made an appointment online with Leah and am so happy I did! I am visiting from out of town where I don't have access to many salon options and Leah gave me the cut and experience I've been needing and looking for. She started with a magical scalp massage that reminded me to chill out and relax - I have 3 kids so this was majorly appreciated. Then, she cleaned up my haircut and made it look fun and exciting again. I have chin length hair and bangs, and my texture is very fine so it's obvious when layers aren't cut well. Bad balayage experience here, I understand a lot of the science behind hair color coming from a family with multiple people in the business, I wasn't expecting magic or anything specific other than lightening my hair up a bit, but left with almost the exact same hair color $240 later. I live in the neighborhood of this salon, and Aveda salons have always been my favorite (for whatever reason). Well, Laura probably got more than she bargained for with taking me on. I wanted something--anything to make me feel like more than a mama. I also obviously hadn't chatted much with adults, because I know I talked her ear off. She was awesome, listened and did amazing work on my mop of hair. She even took the time to go over styling tips for someone who has to chase kids while getting ready (she does this herself, so speaking from experience). Updated on 6/10 Todd gave me a call today and explained that some people tend to leave the product for longer time and that's the reason they left the product on my hair. I gave him a feedback that people should be given this choice and he agreed. I am increasing the rating as he got back to me immediately to get my feedback. Not many people do that these days! -------------------------------------------- I went to this salon for a Brazilian blowout after buying a groupon. I saw good reviews about this place and was very excited. I was suggested Brazilian blowout vs Keratin complex as I have thick hair. I was asked to keep the product on for atleast one day. After i washed my hair its still the same. Not much difference. So I went back and started doing some research and found out that she missed last few steps. According to the Brazilian blowout website, the product should be washed off after straightening and few other steps need to be done. Apparently these steps are skipped. read more
