This is a serious bubble tea spot, with hermetically sealed tops and everything! I was surprised when i walked in, and was initially nervous - because - no offense, the staff is entirely Caucasian. Instantly I had lowered my expectations, but then was surprised - the bubble tea was fantastic! They had a huge selection of flavors, just wish the ordering system was a little more order friendly. My wife ordered the Large Mango snow ($3.74) bubble with boba (40¢) and jelly (40¢). The jelly and boba combo is my wife's favorite. I ordered the Large Peach snow ($3.74) with boba (40¢). Both flavors were sweet enough to be a dessert drink but not enough to coat your teeth in a sugar blanket. We can make many different combination of drinks, so many fun flavors, good prices, and the place is interesting, there are a couple of games including chess and mini soccer and a huge collection of asian comics. Chinese Starbucks Boba milk tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980s. Add "snow bubble" with tapioca (jello like balls made from starch). Quality is much better than pho places. There are many milk tea places but Lollicup is a huge franchise from CA that offers many flavors. I like white chocolate or try Taro for something different. read more

Came here to catch up with friends since it's a great environment to get together with a small group! The selection is very big and there are a few ways to get your boba be it iced or slushy. They also serve non-dairy smoothies or milk teas for those who are lactose-intolerant. The selections to add to your boba isn't very large but it still allows you to have some freedom in your drink customization. The drinks come out fairly fast - but this place is popular and often has long lines. While you wait for your boba, they have a couple of games to pass time. If it's your first time getting boba, I would recommend getting Royal Milk Tea or Taro in either the milk tea version or the slushy version as these are popular flavors. I usually get lavender in the snow bubble form, which is a creamier version of the slushy. Since the business is family-owned, customer service is usually friendly and welcoming but sometimes the cashiers can be a little impersonal. There are a few Lollicup locations in the Denver metro area. While it's a franchise and you should expect each location to be the same, don't let your guard down! This Colorado Blvd. location is the best and only one worth going to. The staff here is friendly, there's plenty of seating, games and the store is clean. My favorite drink is the Royal Milk Tea with boba. What is boba you ask? They're little tapioca balls from heaven. They look a little weird, but they are amazing! The soft, yet chewy texture compliments any drink. Just be weary if you add boba to a frozen drink. If you leave them too long, they freeze up a little and lose that wonderful texture. Caution: there is a minimum purchase if you want to use a credit card. If you only plan on ordering a small drink, bring cash. read more

Lived in Asia for 17 years as an expat. To celebrate my daughters birthday we went to the HOTPOT next door and desert at Lollicup. The Royal Milk Tea is legit! It brought back all the memories. The milk tea was not chalky like it was made from powder, and the Boba's were perfectly cooked. Not old chewy from the day before but fresh. Trust me we were Boba snobs in China. We'd travel across town for the perfect Boba Milk Tea even though it was 10 kuai ($1.20). Even the lids are legit! LOL! I've had boba tea in California, I've had boba tea in Asia, and this is the best boba tea in Colorado. But that's not saying much because the standard for boba tea is already so low. If this Lollicup location was competing against the Lollicup locations in CA, it would probably not survive. Despite being a part of the same chain, this location somehow has some really weak milk tea (the crux of all boba tea cafes). Are they not brewing their tea in-house or something? They don't even have Taiwanese popcorn chicken and other Lollicup sides that are available in the corporate home state of CA? How lame. Why do they act like fried chicken wouldn't sell in Colorado? It's like they don't want to make more money. Not that I had high expectations of a Lollicup location. For those of you who don't know, Lollicup distributes 70% of the boba-making supplies in the US, so, really, they're like the McD's of boba. Pretty sad day for a boba aficionado like me when Lollicup is the best in the state. It'd be like saying McD's is serving the best hamburgers in the state. It tells you more about the location than the McD's. Anyone who says that this place is good has probably not had good, brewed boba before. And whenever I go in, that seems to reflect the clientele: college students who go here to get on board with a trend and to feel "cultured". I swear, if this place really did try to be more authentic, most of the customers would freak out and be disgusted by longan and basil seeds in their drink. So, yeah, this place is the best! I never would've thought I'd be here today writing a review about Lollicup but times change. Sometimes it's for the better and in this case it was! I happened to be in the area with some money to spend and I was parched. I had heard a lot of good things about the place so I stepped on in and ordered the first thing I saw on the menu. "Bobba milk tea for matt!" the front counter worker had shouted. Since this was my first visit, I did not know what to expect. The first sip really took me by surprise, the bobba which is a little bit like a gummy bear added great texture and a sweet flavor while the milk green tea combined the sweet taste with a rich and thick ambience. I don't live in Denver but I visit atleast 3+ times a month. I live 2 hours away (near glenwood springs). But every time I come to Denver I always make sure I have time to come here. Friendly staff, cool little games if you have time to kill, some cool manga (japanese comics) dope decorations (they just did Stanger Things theme so that was right up my alley) and the best boba tea! My favorites so far are mango milk tea if I want something sweet and the thai tea if I want something a little less sweet yet still bland (all with boba of course). I need to explore more flavors, but it's just so good I always resort to those! Keep it up Lollicup fam yall have my support! I've been coming here for more than 10 years now. I moved dangerously close and I'm not mad about that. I like to combine different flavors and see how they come out and the staff is always careful to ask if I've tried the combo before because some of them are a bit weird. They've helped educate me on what to expect with certain flavors if they're not what I might've expected (ex: plum is more of a fermented/tart flavor than sweet). Sometimes the combo I choose turns out great and otherwise not so much, but I like the gamble. Obviously you can just choose one flavor and not play snow bubble roulette too :) I always get their snow bubble with half boba since I don't like just having tons of it left at the bottom. I have yet to order a drink I haven't liked, and believe me, I've had plenty over the past 8+ years. For me, Lollicup consistently beats out the local competition (there are about 4 boba tea placed within a 1-mile radius here). The boba is soft and plentiful, and they have so many flavor combinations and additional ingredients to choose from. They also have freshly made steamed buns and other snacks, lots of books, games and seating, and they offer loyalty cards for freebies! The Colorado & Iowa Lollicup is the best! They brew their teas, use concentrate for the drinks and make boba every few hours to ensure they are soft and fresh! I've seen the other Lollicups and they use powder for the drinks (yuck) and make boba in a big bulk so you can get really old, hard boba in your drinks. I have been going to Lollicup since they first opened and the owners make a point that the service here is the best. They are friendly to all customers and make a point to remember you. If there's ever a mistake, they buy you another drink. They really know how to run a great business! read more

I was told about this by my girlfriend. While I've had boba in Denver before I haven't been impressed. This place is the real deal. They have a fun atmosphere with games, Asian books and movies and a decor that you have to see to appreciate. There are 20+ flavors that you can get in small or large size with boba, pudding or one other option. You can also I tried passion fruit with boba. It was sweet but not terribly so. Tried searching the area for some good bubble tea but this was the only place with good ratings despite there being a Lollicup in Houston that taste terrible, although I'm not quite sure it has any relations. I ordered a jasmine milk tea which was okay but the tapioca was soft and soggy. The royal milk tea was not good and for some reason tasted like chocolate lol, I also had a lemon slush that was superrrrr sour but it tasted good. The best boba in Denver I think. Milk tea is a classic but I recommend the avocado because they don't charge extra like many other places do! The only flavor I would say is not that great is green tea snow, which can be found better at other places on Federal. They also have a good selection of pudding and jellies. I have seen other Lollicup locations in Cali have mini-boba, but not here. They have small bites like pork dumplings here which are good but not better than dim sum places in Denver. Some lollicups have a lot more food options, so don't come here expecting food. But if it's a fun boba hangout with friend you're looking for this is the spot for you :) read more

Good hangout spot, if you come here with friends you can get drinks, play cards, connect 4, chess, checkers, and foosball or even read one of the mangas they have. Drinks are pretty cheap here compared to other places, roughly 4.25 for a large with one topping. My usual drinks are either the lavender or honey dew milk tea 75% sweet. Toppings I generally get are boba or coffee jelly. In general this place is probably the best in Colorado for these kind of drinks, I've been to a lot in Cali and Texas, but for Colorado they're my go to place. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE! This place has a special place in my heart because it was one of the first boba shops I've visited and actually enjoy their bobas. I like that the boba balls aren't super hard but they're chewy. I've been coming here ever since they opened and I recommend this place to those boba lovers. Lollicup is a place that has never let me down. I've visited more times than I can count and always make a pitstop if I eat nearby, even if I'm too full. Tapioca is a dessert... Situated in a plaza shared with Safeway, Corepower Yoga, and many other shops, there's plenty of parking. The shop itself is adorably decorated, especially during holiday season. There's a foosball table and fun games for hanging out. The boba is reasonably priced and there is a good variety of flavors. My go to is taro, it tastes delicious hot and cold. I always add boba, and sometimes pudding. pudding is especially great in a hot drink! You can mix flavors too, get a mix of honey dew and vanilla snow to create that honeydew Popsicle taste. read more
