We scheduled an 8:00 a.m. appointment for two fillings for my daughter. Before booking, I specifically asked how long the procedure would take and was told 20-30 minutes, so we planned our morning accordingly and arrived before 8:00 a.m. However, five or six families were also scheduled for 8:00 a.m., and it appeared the dentist had just arrived while team huddles were taking place as patients waited. These types of internal meetings should ideally happen before the first patient appointments begin. We were called back around 8:10 a.m., but then waited in the room for the dentist, who was seeing another patient. The dentist did not come in until after 8:30 a.m. The procedure itself was quick and finished by 8:45 a.m., but only one of the two scheduled fillings was completed. Because of the delay, my daughter was late to school and I was late to a 9:00 a.m. meeting. We made every effort to arrive on time, but the office did not appear ready to begin seeing patients at 8:00 a.m. Respectfully, if the office cannot begin appointments at that time, patients should be scheduled later. The delay had ripple effects on the rest of our morning and felt disrespectful of our time. read more

My 21 months old toddler had a good experience at this clinic. They gave him a ballon, there's crayons for coloring, and he got a toy after the exam. He had fun! The teeth cleaning was ok... very quick. However... Go here if you want to be harassed by their billing department for over a year. My insurance company has paid the claims and they're sending me bills saying they didn't pay. I've spent hours trying to take care of this. Dental hygienist is very good and friendly. However I have to ask for the gift like toothbrush, toothpaste and balloons for my kids. The dentist is checking my kid teeth very quick and step away. I told them that my kid teeth has black stain and need to remove cause last time it cause a hole on her teeth after I tried to remove it. They say it's okay, it just stain. How a cleaning appointment is just like 10 minutes service with brushing teeth like how I did at home. Not sure if the other dental place did the same. read more

After the x-rays were taken, the doctor informed me that my son had a mild cavity and offered to apply SDF treatment to his tooth, asking if I wanted to proceed. I agreed, but seconds later I was told they could not do it that day because the office was closing and they were unable to verify my insurance. I'm not sure why treatment was offered if it could not actually be provided. The entire appointment felt rushed, the cleaning was less than 5 minutes, communication was poor, and I even had to ask for a dental take-home bag for my son. I signed my daughter up for dental care here after doing extensive research on pediatric dentists. This place is awesome! We started taking her when she was 2 years old and the staff is so experienced at making kids feel comfortable, since having a stranger open your mouth and brush your teeth is not exactly what most 2-year-olds want to be doing with their afternoon. They have a waiting area with coloring sheets and toys, and the exam area is open and shared so all the parents and kids are together. Each chair has a TV mounted on the ceiling with a kid's show playing so the kid can watch TV while they're getting their teeth cleaned. At the end, you get to pick a toy, balloon and a sugar-free lollipop. It turns the dentist into an exciting event for a kid! My daughter didn't cry at all and both times we've come so far have been very positive experiences. read more

I've struggled on finding the perfect Dental office for my kids where they can feel safe and comfortable. Lolipop dental has made it possible for my kids to get all their treatments and my kids love coming to the dentist! Today I had an appointment scheduled for my son and someone at front desk called me asking me if I would like an early appointment I said I couldn't since I was working. Once I was going to hang up they thought I wasn't on the phone and I heard the girl mocking me. I was pretty upset. Later I came in for my appointment and as soon as I walked in I see the girl with glasses on her phone and didnt greet us or checked us in. I never wrote a negative review to any businesses as I have two businesses on my own and I know how one bad review can affect them. I will just post the pictures of recently fixed cavities for my child and you decide if you want your child to get treatment there. The way the cavities look black after the treatment they are saying that it's some kind of medication under the fillings that make it look like this(never had black medicine under my fillings). But the fact that that the child started complaining for the pain after the treatment and they wouldn't do anything about it but the extraction or a silver crown made me sad. They wouldn't even offer a discount to fix the issue or deduct the price of the bad filling of $250 from the price for a small over crown of $450 (please note, no root canal listed there, which doesn't sound like a solution to me) If you happen to go there, try at least their office in Placentia. People that work there are much nicer, but same accountant people that go after you for every penny, and when they overcharged us for nitrogen that we refused to do, they would probably say: "we credited you that amount of $217 that your overpaid". ‍. Bottom line, that Lollipop Dentistry gets a lot of good reviews when you just register with them and do the first Check Up by giving you a small Dentist kid. I'm asking you for a nice review.. Then you stuck with them and multiple phone calls over and over about the same but then you come to the office and there will be a different amount of copy and no one to explain you why. three small cavities that cost $1058 and the outcome is on the pictures one of the feelings child. Efficient and generally very good pediatric dental practice. Appointments are easy to get, things run on time, and the dentists have been thorough and kind with our kids. A couple of downsides: there's a strong push for X-rays at every visit, even when they were done just six months earlier. From what I understand, once a year should be sufficient for routine care. Also, at our last visit the dental hygienist was difficult to understand, which made communication a bit challenging. That said, overall care has been solid and the convenience and dentist experience keep us coming back. read more

We've been going here for over 5 years, and absolutely recommend their services to everyone.
