We had such a wonderful experience at Little Roots Pediatric Dental Care Group! From the moment we walked in, everyone made my son feel comfortable and excited about his visit. Dr. Linda was absolutely amazing. She was so patient, kind, and gentle with my son. Before doing anything, she gave him a mirror and showed him exactly what she would be doing on an alligator model, then mirrored those same steps during his exam. It was such a thoughtful and comforting approach that helped him understand everything and feel completely at ease. You can truly tell that she loves what she does and genuinely cares about every child she treats. They also took the time to teach him how to brush his teeth, making the appointment both fun and educational. The office has a wonderful play area with iPads that kept him entertained and helped ease any nerves. Cindy and Bella at the front desk were phenomenal--so welcoming, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. The dental assistant, Miss Ngnin, was also incredibly kind and made my son feel safe and comfortable during his visit. It's not easy finding a pediatric dental office that combines exceptional care with such a warm and child-friendly environment, but Little Roots exceeded all of our expectations. He also got a toy and a balloon at the end of the visit, which made him so happy. For all the scared mommas out there, this dentist's office is one of a kind. My four year old had three cavities needing fillings. I was very nervous for my little guy but Dr Ngo is PHENOMENAL. Goodness was I nervous about taking my LO to her first entire appointment. We found little roots through our insurance provider's website, and we chose little roots due to the good reviews, welcoming office, and the fact that the dentists are also mamas themselves. We worked with Dr. Hani, and we had an incredible first experience. Dr. Hani was welcoming and friendly. She took her time to meet and interact with my LO (15 months). In fact, she got comfortable enough with Dr. Hank to sit still all by herself in the chair to get polished and flossed. What! Ok, maybe the tv on the ceiling helps, but still. I can not express my appreciation to dr linda enough. My son is autistic and she did such a great job calming him through out the visit. He had both his teeth pulled out and he didn't even cry and do anything at all. He relaxed and just watched tv while she was doing her job. Love her! She even told me, my son has a slight tongue tie which i didn't even know about. Let alone no one has told me about this even when he was a baby. Even tho I've questioned it so many times too. My other son who is 3 years old and doesn't like brushing his teeth. But when he's there he laid down and let her brush his teeth and even allowed her to do his teeth cleaning. dr linda is awesome. My husband and I are so elated to have found such a wonderful dental practice for our hellions. Everyone is so nice, caring, and professional. This is the second pediatric dentist's office we are giving a shot, and I honestly have to say the experience was night and day compared to our visit at the other practice. I wanted a second opinion b/c the first place we went to wanted to do general anesthesia for my 4 year old, and we're just not comfortable with that. The boys saw Dr. Linda. Dr. Linda listened to my concerns, I even warned her that the boys might be a *tad* antsy and it might be hard to keep them still (the other place we went to had my boys nervous and they weren't comfortable). Not only was she able to see all three boys (not a tear from one of them! Instead they were all smiles when we left! That's a win in my book!), she was able to treat my soon with oral sedation! We didn't need to do general anesthesia!!! Scheduling an appointment was easy! And being able to see all three of them concurrently worked perfectly for us. They accepted our insurance, also another bonus. Oh, and they do fun raffles! We're absolutely thrilled to find a dentist that the kids (and we) like! If only she saw adults (haha)! read more

This is the best dental clinic I've ever been to. The front desk staff, nurses, and doctors are all absolutely amazing.My younger son Jasper had a very painful experience at another dental clinic, and we had no choice but to transfer. I was blown away by the care the doctor had for my daughter's very first dentist appointment. She is two and typically doesn't enjoy a teeth brushing but after some conversation and "brushing" the stuffed animals' teeth, she opened up and was more than willing to get her teeth cleaned. My three kids went to Little Roots for a check up for the first time today and they had a wonderful experience. Dr Linda was able to see them all at the same time and the evaluation/cleaning was quick and thorough. I loved how she educated the kids so they could understand and learn how to care for their own teeth. She had them hold a mirror and pointed out areas that needed extra care and cleaning. When I tell my kids the importance of brushing their teeth they don't always listen, but when Dr Linda instructed them they listened intently. Dr. Linda and the staff at Little Roots were wonderful with my 2 kids, age 7 and 5. Dr. Linda was so warm and compassionate - she took her time getting to know the kids and making them feel at ease. By the time they were in the seat for the cleaning, they were happily chatting away. She explained each step thoroughly to the kids so they knew what was going on. They weren't paying much attention though, because they were busy watching Disney plus shows on the overhead screen - a great distraction! The staff took the time right before the procedure to let the kids choose their own show/movie to watch. During the procedure Dr. Linda was very encouraging and kept asking them if they were doing ok and whether they needed a little break. I was the one that was impatient and kept telling her "they're fine, it's ok!" :) I appreciated how Dr. Linda went over the X-rays in DETAIL with us AND the kids. My daughter was able to see how she had incoming teeth coming up from under her baby teeth. She kept saying "wow! This is so cool!" I love that Dr. Linda included my kids in the discussions. We had to make a return visit to have a cavity filled. It was our first time dealing with a cavity. I was super anxious but I didn't need to be. Not even a tear. I was especially bracing myself when I saw the numbing needle come out (we all know how awful those are!!) but my daughter didn't even flinch. As they were cleaning/filling the cavity, Dr. Linda kept my daughter engaged and distracted with a cute little story about how many sugar bugs they were capturing and also told her she was drawing a unicorn on the tooth (creative way of explaining the different sensations on the tooth- no actual unicorn drawn, guys). After we left the office, I caught my daughter staring at her teeth in the mirror. She said, "I'm trying to see the blue glitter unicorn Dr.Linda drew on my tooth!" I asked if she saw it and she says, "I think so!" Lol. First cavity down, success!! I was searching for an office with availability to fit my schedule and I'm so glad I found Little Roots. I looked into the dentists at this office and learned that although she is new to this location, Dr. Linda has been practicing dentistry for well over a decade and recently relocated to be closer to family. I appreciate that Dr. Linda has little kids of her own and has first hand experience dealing with the same concerns and challenges we have as parents of little ones. The difference I've noticed here is that they seem to have a genuine interest in empowering the kids to be active participants in their dental care. I love that because it encourages the kids to have a sense of responsibility for taking care of their own teeth. I'm definitely one of those "have a million questions" "on high alert at all times" parents and yet I was truly impressed with the care we received here so I wanted to offer some insight to the parents out there who are looking for a pediatric dentist. Just came back from Little Roots Pediatric Dentistry. I brought my two kids, who are 1 and 4 years of age. It was my 1 year olds first time and I didn't think anything could be done because she tends to bite my fingers whenever I try to brush or floss. But Dr. Linda was able to clean, floss, and take a look at her teeth without much fuss!! For my 4 year old, he had a lot of cavities and Dr. Linda suggested nitrous and oral sedation for a later time. I thought it was a bit much but she didn't want to traumatize my kid. After discussing with my wife, we decided to go with Dr. Linda's suggestion. I'm glad we did. Everything went well and my boy was eating and drinking after an hour. Not only is the office clean and designed strategically with an interactive play area for the kids to make them comfortable, the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Most importantly the doctors at this practice are seasoned and respected professionals in their industry. Dr. Linda has magical skills with how she interacts with the kids in her chair. She's kind, interactive, and intuitive with involving the kids in the process of their appointment to put them at ease. Her use of storytelling and explaining how sugar bugs need to be handled works well with their listening skills, so they can be alert and cooperative during their visit and procedure. My two nephews (8 and 5) unfortunately had bad experiences and negligent care with their prior pediatric dentist, thus, I was so elated that we now have such diligent care, preventive education, and a solutions treatment plan for them. We're so grateful for Dr. Linda's guidance and value her professional opinion on their dental care and hygiene. Moreover, her keen insight on finding viable solutions and making the process smooth and easy. My nephews are now, motivated and excited to floss and brush correctly daily. They love using their electric toothbrush after Dr. Linda suggested this method for their treatments. They even reference her while brushing and say Dr. Linda said no sugar bugs if we do it like this and when eating treats, they're more aware of the sugar intake of what they eat and drink. Moreover, we're highly impressed with Dr. Linda's ability to put the nephews at ease when they needed oral sedation for their treatment. She has unique toys for them to calm them down in the chair and having their favorite Disney shows to distract them is a win. We were nervous to see how my 5 year old nephew would react to the chair at this new practice since he has ADHD symptoms but he was so well behaved under her care. Again, her magic skills here!
