I've tried Invisalign for years (with another office) but never had the results I wanted and my smile was never what I dreamed of. Before seeing Dr. Carlson I had consultations at a few other offices but couldn't find the right fit. As soon as I met with Kaylee (she's so awesome!) and Dr. Carlson, I knew this was the place! Before choosing Dr. Chuck and Surf City Smiles, I went to about 10 ortho consultations for my daughter, each orthodontist giving different opinions of treatment, my daughter had overcrowding and canine coming forward, other orthodontist said expander or removing teeth, I didn't want an expander, I thought waste of time, and my daughter didn't want her teeth pulled. When we can to Dr.Chuck for a consultation, he mentioned the self ligating braces, as it was a win-win. And treatment was estimated to 15-18months, and here we are a day short of a year, and my daughter's teeth were perfectly straight with braces removed! The staff are super friendly and remember who you are each visit. atmosphere and aesthetic is modern and relaxed, and all of Dr. Chucks equipment state of the art, high tech! I wish I had that experience when I had braces, from the very first consultation to the day the braces were removed we had an exceptional experience.
