I called Lolli's for a last minute order that I desperately needed but honestly never expected to get. I mean I think it was a 2 hour window... but I tried my luck anyway. Instead of telling me what I expected to hear I was pleasantly reassured by the sweet lady that answered the phone that she'd be more than happy to put together a dozen strawberries for me right then and there. I've visited lollis twice in the past 2 years and was not impressed. it's very over priced for what it is - it seems like a family was making things out of their kitchen the. decided they were ready for a storefront but they don't know anything about sales, business or customer service. Their ideas are cute but overpriced and insult their customers with their sales skills or lack there of. I remember the owner telling me her husband designs web pages and if that's the case they should have a much better we. page bc the one they've had the past few years really sucks. This place is so great for so many reasons! 1. The owners and staff are incredibly knowledgable of their products. They know what works and what doesn't. They were very honest about how many favors they thought I should get. 2. The freshness of their chocolates. You can watch them dip their strawberries and creating other sweet treats behind the register. You can definitely taste the difference! 3.Last minute gifts. Let's face it, we all have that boss, great aunt, or teacher we have no clue what to get. Lolli's makes delicious assortments of all their goodies in a variety of prices. 4. Wedding favors. I chose Lolli's to crest chocolate covered Oreos. Not only did they dip the Oreos, but decorated them as brides/grooms and put them in cute little bags with our wedding color ribbons. I first learned about Lolli's from a friend that ordered a party platter to cater an event that we attended. I enjoyed it so much that I had to get their number. I decided to order a few baskets for mothers day, and went with the Variety Chocolate Platter as gifts. After almost forgetting to order one for my wife, I caught myself and ordered one for our home as well. The chocolate was so smooth and the fruit was fresh. I would definitely recommend Lolli's for any occasion. So I always end up here looking for last minute gifts (graduation, teacher appreciation, Father's Day, etc..). There's always a vast array of choices for my budget (usually about $15-30). And, the staff is always really great at putting gifts together on the spot if i like a particular mug or plate. DISAPPOINTING SERVICE. After having their chocolates as a gift, I wanted to purchase some for gifts for friends. Part of the purchase was a special order which was promised the same day. I was told they would call me. They didn't call the rest of the day or the next morning to explain or apologize for any delay. When I called, they said they were working on it. I received no apology or acknowledgement of delay. When I got there to pick it up, they still didn't mention any issue or negligence. When I asked what the miscommunication was and the predicament this put me in, they tried to blame it on the new girl. This was a sad attempt to pass the blame when the "new" girl had actually asked the person in charge who said it would be done. Once I informed her, she then blamed it on the crazy day they had. Although she apologized several times, there was no admittance of any fault on their part, offer of a discount, a coupon, or even a free cookie. In summary, the product is good, but their integrity and service seem questionable. read more
