She quickly took the reigns and established contact with our vendors to set up a comprehensive timeline, ensuring that everything on the big day would go according to plan. A week and a half before the wedding, she met us at the venue and did a walk through with management, figuring out how the different parts of the day would flow, asking questions we hadn't even thought to ask. On the day of, Carly set up all of our DIY decorations and flowers BEAUTIFULLY and, in concert with the venue, she managed the flow of the entire day, making sure everyone was where they were supposed to be at all times. She handled all the payments for our vendors so we didn't have to worry - we could just sit back and enjoy our day. She seemed to be everywhere, and she was always right where we needed her, checking in on us, but never obtrusive in any way. She was easy to reach and very responsive, and she accommodated all of our last minute requests without batting an eye. I first met with Megan months before our wedding and we had a couple of two-hour-long meetings before the week of our wedding, besides many emails and phone calls (she would even pick up her cell phone on her way to another client's reception to help me). We had already hired almost all our vendors, but Megan also helped me with DJ recommendations. The week before our wedding Megan did an amazing amount of behind-the-scenes work, coordinating a schedule with all our vendors, checking that no detail had been overlooked, and coordinating the drop-off of place cards and cake servers/toppers with me the day before the wedding. The big day came and....my husband and I enjoyed every minute of it! Most importantly, we didn't have to worry about anything, because Megan and her assistant made sure everything flowed smoothly and everyone was where they needed to be. All we had to think about was having fun and enjoying the beginning of our marriage. Tangorra Wedding Planning has a studio in the North End, in addition to Newburyport. I posted for help using the thumbtack website and of all the responses I felt most comfortable with her. She's professional, serious about her job and basically down to earth. She asked essential questions (theme, colors, etc). I was working with a small budget and she still did wonders. She sent out invites and even made a social media invite. I really just put things in her hands and it turned out awesome. The decorations were perfect for a summer outdoor shower. She DIY many details to save money and made sure to have a back up plan Incase the weather was bad. Tables, seating, and not your typical shower games. I was very pleased that I didn't have to worry about anything and could really focus on celebrating my now nephew. I would definitely recommend her and I will hire her again in the future.

Got a beautiful intricate mehendi (henna) design last weekend at the Fenway Victory Gardens Monarch…read moreButterfly event!! Totally unexpected! Went to check out the event and learnt about monarch butterflies' life-cycles, saw some amazing gardens, tin sculptures and more! They had a henna artist - Shrenika who was crafting these beautiful designs. My friend got one on her ankle, while many of us got them on our hands. All of us loved our designs!
