My choice, helped my diet, but it was very soft flavored... it was nice and cold, but I was underwhelmed. Her creation was delicious: I think it was called a grasshopper? Yum! No wonder she keeps coming back! Honestly for the price (same price for any creation or plain ice), I should've had the special! Lesson learned! Its considered New Orleans style "snow balls" if you want to be technical. The owner is from Nola and brought this deliciousness to the Lone star state. Any time anyone mentions snow cones this is the one and only place I will bring them or recommend for them to visit. The ice is soft like butter and retains the flavor of the syrup perfectly. There are so many flavors to chose from as well as addition toppings to add. My daughter loves to add nerds to hers and I add the savory chili powder topping (not sure the name of it). One important thing to note is that this place is cash only, also with summer coming to an end well Texas summer... the hours begin to change and from what I remember they stay closed during the colder season. Teapioca is a chain so when I spotted one in this shopping center late last night I went in to check it out. The customer service was unbelievably awful. I walked up to the cash register where the only menu was and looked through briefly to make sure nothing changed since my last visit. After only being there a few seconds the cashier rudely said "are you going to order ma'am?". Since when is that ever in a script to say to customers? I was so taken aback I wanted to leave but I quickly ordered and still tipped well, after which her attitude suddenly became friendlier. I went back to look at the menu again and she asked "would you like to order anything else?" I said "no, I want to finish looking at the menu since I was rushed". The drink wasn't even good. Lychee jelly tasted sour and bad. It is highly unlikely I will give this establishment any more of my business and I recommend that others go elsewhere.
