I came in because they had a sign that said $7.77 teriyaki bowl. Small restaurant in a strip mall in Cedar Park off Bell Blvd. Order at the counter which is convenient. I got my food fast. The counter person even came and checked on me. The cook also came up front and asked me how my food was. Chicken teriyaki bowl- Simple dish but it didn't feel rushed. The rice and chicken tasted fresh. It was so good I ordered another one to go. For the price and quality, I give this 5 stars!

I have loved this place over the past few years it has been open. The service is fast and the store is clean. However the portion sizes have DRASTICALLY decreased while prices have increased. The quality of the chicken has also seemed to go down. Hate to see this happening because it's not worth the prices anymore.

I ordered this thru a delivery service. It looked inviting, and I really missed good "Katsu" since moving here. Also, missed good "Asian chicken". But, sadly, this place disappointed in both. Best part of it was the side salad that came with the Katsu. I ordered and egg roll, and and water. Got water (*hate AquaFina), and did not get egg roll at all. Japanese Fried chicken was really hard coating, and some were inedible. I ended up not eating it all. The Katsu was just "o.k". It tells you to pick a sauce..I recommend "No sauce", as makes it soggy. The fried rice under it (you can get white rice if you wish) was not much flavor to it. I wished it was better :( !

    Extra meat?

Decent food, questionable portion size for the "extra meat" teriyaki for ~$19. Maybe they take advantage of delivery orders. Being from Seattle and claiming to be Seattle style teriyaki, Toshi's would be disappointed. If you know, you know.

Some of the new menu items have taken this place from a strong 4 to an even stronger 5 star experience. Their orange chicken is honestly to die for. I know what you're thinking, orange chicken? What could be so special about that? Listen, it's the breading and flavor I don't make the rules. I highly recommend giving this new menu item a try. They also changed up their chicken lettuce wraps which have always been a staple in my order. Quite honestly, I much prefer this version with the added kick to it. Above all, the food is consistent. They are always adding new and great things to the menu. They are quick (I mean you place an order and it's ready in less than 10 minutes sometimes). And the people who work there are so friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Get ya some Cocky Teriyaki!

I came to this establishment on December 17th to order a to-go lunch for myself and the kiddos. When I arrived at this location, there were no customers. There were two men who seemed to be discussing business operations when I arrived. I assume that these men were the GM and/or owner. One of the two took my to-go order. *Warning, I am tough of some types of cuisines (especially from places/ regions I have lived, like Japan)*So, let's get to it, shall we? Chicken Teriyaki The basic teriyaki sauce is made of 4 simple ingredients: soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar. Sometimes aromatics like grated ginger are added. After a good sauce is created, a good teriyaki chicken dish will be pan-fried. For a good cook on the chicken, the chicken should be the skin-side down so the crisp and char adds flavor. BUT this chicken lacked the crisp of that a true teriyaki chicken should have. 3/5 Eggs Roles Yikes, these lacked the layers of flavors one comes to expect from such an appetizer. However, these weren't terrible. 3/5 Hot and Sour Soup There's not much to this simple soup, this served as a nice starter. 4/5 Chicken katsu curry This dish combines thick curry sauce with a fried chicken cutlet on a bed of rice. The panko on this was so-so, which is a shame because the panko is what makes this dish 'katsu'. The curry was also okay. 2.5/5 Final 3/5

I do not use the "check-in" option on Yelp very often. I think just twice in 4 years! I saw on the listing for Cocky Teriyaki a Yelp offer for "free chicken teriyaki meal" with any purchase. I was glad I did, because the Chicken Teriyaki meal was really good. There was plenty of tasty chicken and the salad accompanying it was very fresh. I ordered brown rice with the meal and it was also warm and yummy. I had ordered the Pork Katsu dinner previously, and I could be wrong, but I think last time I actually had a very good "pork cutlet". This time, it seems like the pork had changed and perhaps it was just tenderized very well, because I didn't get the texture of the typical pork katsu. Despite that thought, it was a tasty katsu dinner.

    $62 dollar meal - The Rangoons were comp'd - Thanks !!!

This is a 2 Star Review but I'm giving them 3 Stars since they comp'd us an order of Rangoons. Mrs Texas ordered the teriyaki chicken breast with fried rice, but she got teriyaki chicken breast with white rice. I'm sure I paid extra for the upgrade. Mrs. Texas said it was all right as far as the flavor, and the chicken was not rubbery at all. My Son ordered the beef yakisoba. He said it was all right as far as the flavor. I ordered the shrimp yakisoba, and it was alright at best. However, I was not impressed. Mrs. Texas and my son each ordered spring rolls which they said they were alright, but they've had better. We were first timers, but I'm not sure if we will return. If we do, it won't be anytime soon. The dining area is very small, but clean, and the staff was very friendly.

    Yes that's a staple

Teriyaki with a side of staples. This was inside of my rice and when I called in the employee stated he wasn't surprised. I usually prefer my food without staples or any metal objects.

I wanted to love this so bad. As a side note I've lived in Japan and can make a good amount of Japanese food. Please fix these things: - Salad dressing: poppy seed????? I like the light creaminess but I really would have liked the traditional carrot ginger style. - Katsu: not breaded in Panko? Is that even legal? - Curry: no flavor whatsoever. I can't taste enough garam masala/ketchup/Worcestershire. Grate an apple into it too! I learned that from an Okinawa grandma :) -Rice: not sticky enough. If you would fix these things yum yum yum

Good teriyaki flavor, however, the bowl is SO small. It's honestly the size of a side dish. Definitely not worth it.

Italian holds a special place in my heart not only because I lived in Sicily for many years but it serves as an great alternative to ice cream on a hot day and is little bit better for you health wise. Italian ice is made with a base of water, sugar, and fruit juices or purees, while ice cream is made with milk, cream, sugar, and flavorings. Italian ice doesn't contain dairy or eggs. This truck serves up many flavors and allows customers to make their own concoctions based upon what is available on the truck. The Italian ice here is smooth and has a fine-grained texture, similar to sorbet. Aside from the Italian ice, I purchased an acai bowl. The Tropical acia bowl was tart from the berries within the bowl but had a sweet aftertaste due to the honey drizzle. While the price point is a tad high, the service and the products received from this local gem warrant it. #supportlocal
