If I could give her NO stars. I went in to have Loly's Bridal (who I am assuming is also her name) to tailor my daughter's confirmation dress and add rose embroidery to the entire white dress and add rose embroidery throughout the dress and make veil to match the dress with red roses. She quoted me $275.62, I gave her a deposit of $75.62, leaving me with a balance of $200.00. Since I do not live in Huntington Park, I called less than a week later and asked her how the order was going. She said "Please come in I want to have your daughter to try it on and see if you want me to add more roses on the dress". I went that Sunday with my daughter and my cousin. When we got there, she brought the dress and veil out. First, she didn't listen to my clear instructions on how I wanted the dress, in our initial meeting I clearly gave her instructions on the rose embroidery placement on the dress. She placed a few roses, and I did not pay for the dress to have a few roses. When it came to the veil she also just put a few roses on her veil, I said "Please add more, this is not acceptable. "She then said, "I only have a few roses left and they are not going to be enough for the dress, but I can add them to the veil." I had no choice, but then goes to the back and brings out this black fabric with roses and says, 'I have this one, but the red roses are on black fabric because where I went to buy it, they did not have any more white fabric on red roses." Apparently, she cut all the rose embroidery from the fabric, and she never once mentioned this was going to be the technique. I would NOT have agreed to that. Her assistant said, "It took me so long to cut all those roses out." I told Loly and the other lady that I gave Loly clear instructions on what I wanted and that she should have called me that there weren't enough roses because I would have easily sourced a fabric store in the fabric district of Downtown L.A. She then got REALLY irritated and went to the back and told me she wanted me to take the dress that day. There was a change in Loly's mood immediately, when I began questioning her. We waited longer than 30 minutes, while she added more roses to the veil. I settled on the dress not having as many roses, because my daughter and my cousin said Loly is mad, let's just pay and leave. I went to pay my $200 balance, (as written on the receipt). Loly then said, "I didn't include the veil, that will be an additional $75.00." I told her that it's incorrect that the veil is written on the original receipt. She had the original receipt and then she proceeded to add $75.00 below my balance on the original receipt. OMG, I said "Did you just do that?" I paid with my bank card with the intention of disputing the extra $75, she added, with my bank. Once I paid, I told her she was a thief and should be ashamed of ripping people off. She didn't say anything, because I have a feeling, she does this all the time. I am disputing the $75.00 she added to my bank and showed my bank proof the original receipt had the veil included in total I had to pay $350.62 for her poor work, $75.00 that she added in front of me. I could not believe her, in plain sight, she ripped me off. Don't give this old lady any business, she is DISHONEST AND IS A LIAR. SHAME ON HER FOR BEING A THIEF read more

She did my prom dress, and it was beautiful! Very reasonable price too. The only thing that got in the way was a lack of communication. I speak both Spanish and English, as the owner's fluent language seems to be Spanish (she can still manage with English), but even then, i would sometimes not get a response back to my message, or drive to Huntington park to a closed shop after having a conversation prior. Just because I have to give a star in order to put a review. Came in looking for a last minute flower arrangement. The Lady was nice until I told her that the person I was taking the flower arrangement didn't like it, she changed completely! (I paid for arrangement before the recipient told me no) Yes she changed some flowers on an arrangement they had which took her 30 mins to do and wouldn't refund my money, she only wanted to give me half because of her time and stated she had to make a brand new arrangement. Don't understand why they have the arrangements displayed if they are for a customer already. Don't waste your time and money at this place. I spent several months looking for my wedding dress, going to super fancy wedding stores but I still could not find that particular vision I had in mind. I was told to go by the area of Huntington Park and I happen to park right in front of Loly's bridal. From the moment we walked in the friendliness was in the air, I liked the attention and specially that I could design my own wedding dress! I went back home and started designing. Once I presented my idea, Sra. Maria was very cooperative and very understanding, she gave the perfect input and understood exactly what I wanted although I had so many specifications. 5 months to the wedding the dress started shaping up. Some of my specifications were: Detachable train, dress pockets (I didn't want to carry a purse) definitely not to much detail (less is more) but the detail that will have has to be elegant, NOT a puffy dress, not a heavy dress, corset just incase I gain or lose weight I don't need alterations, a small Spanish cover, I didn't want to show to much skin but I didn't want to be all covered up as well, classy but modern. I am satisfied with her work. At the beginning I was doing dress fittings every 3-4 weeks but by the wedding date I was visiting the place every week. I was very impressed by the materials that Sra. Went to Loly's bridal based on the Yelp reviews, it was so disappointing to see that my future daughter in law's wedding gown was not even close to what she had envisioned although a picture was provided to the seamstress, when talking about it to the seamstress she argued that it was, when it clearly wasn't. The material used was of low quality and it looked dirty, even gray! when asked if she could modify or replace the material she said no because that was all the material she had! For the amount of money she quoted for the gown, we expected better quality overall. I'm not sure what type of people Loly's is used to dealing with, perhaps people that are too embarrassed to hurt her feelings or do not have the confidence to speak out! Loly's bridal was amazing! After a terrible experience at Lyzys, I brought my dress here. I actually accidentally tore it from the shoulder. I was devastated :( They were completely reassuring that the details of my dress were going to remain the same despite cutting most of the length off (I'm a short girl, the ends of this dress was the best part of this dress ). They told me that the dress was going to be done in a week and it was! The dress was altered perfectly! The tearing was gone and they placed a vintage design on it. You couldn't even tell a tearing happened there. I'd definitely recommend this place! These women make dresses from scratch. Really bad service here. First I came to purchase a dress for my nieces 15th birthday. Was planning on leaving a $100 deposit but the lady told me no it had to be between a $200-300 deposit. So I was like uhh weird. Okay. I left $300. I came about once a month for the past 5 months leaving more money. Every time I would want to leave $100 the lady would say "can't you leave more?" Uhh. No. After that the party is in two weeks and we have not ONCE got a call to come into fitting. I got a call once but it was to add more items to a package and I said NO. We got here 3 weeks before the party and the same lady said NO that we need to wait to be called for an appointment. I explained to her that the party is in 3 weeks and we've received no call. She went to the back and said "oh yeah you should've came in earlier your dress has been here for months." Like really then why didn't you give us a call? Anyways. She tried it on and only had a little bit of tailoring to do. Another lady said it would take 30 minutes if we wanted to wait and we did. 30 minutes passed and she said to come back next Saturday. We are here today. We came in at 11 an hour after the store opened and guess what. OUR DRESS ISNT READY AND SHE SAID TO COME BACK LATER. Like they had a week to do it but they chose to do it literally on THE DAY they told us to come back. And instead of apologizing they still tried to get us to buy more of their products. Overall very bad service. Will not be coming back. read more

I had my event on July 15th, 2016. My family had paid well over $1000 for photography and video. They had said that the photos and video should be ready 2 months after the day event. 2 months go by, 3 months go by, 4 months go by and we start to wonder where are photos and video. We called and the main lady and she acted lost and said that their computer broke so her son couldn't edit the video and to give more time like 2 weeks for the pictures, and they would call. They never called and never communicated with us. We constantly had to be reaching out to find out when our pictures are ready. Finally in January, 6 months after my event we were able to pick up the small pictures and this wack album that was provided. The pictures were printed in January!! It took for my mother to beg for them to get just the pictures. They said that their computer was still broken, finally, in June we picked up the video and enlarged pictures. Can you believe almost a year later!? The video of my event was horribly edited and was missing epic moments on my special day that they recorded. seemed rushed when they had almost a whole year. Horrible service!! I will never recommend this place. We paid them $1000 on time we should expect the same. Now I'm stuck with horrible video forever! Don't go here. read more
