I have been to numerous stores over the past month in both Huntington Park and Santee Alley looking for a quince dress and it has been such a frustrating experience. So many places have ladies helping you that only give you sass and attitude. Val's was recommended by someone in the fashion industry and I can say with confidence. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! Their customer service and business mindset is excellent. Natalie was so nice to both my daughter and I. She really listened to my daughter. Asked her questions about her style and vision and gently helped her in and out of her dress. She gave her styling tips on what colors would works best for her skin tone and let my daughter really have a moment to think about this major decision. OH, and we could take tons of pictures. Some of these other stores gate keep their dresses and don't let you take pictures which is ridiculous and a terrible business practice. We ended up buying the first dress she tried on because we had done our research. My daughter knew what she liked and didn't like and they happen to have THE perfect dress that checked off all the boxes. The pricing was competitive and they give you a great package discount. The girls helping out know quince fashion well and gave great advice on customization options. Any of their in-house dresses can be customized which is another major advantage. HORRIBLE,horrible,HORRIBLE!!!.. I had a very disappointing experience with this quince dress shop. My daughters dress wasn't made on time they promised it a month before the event, I was left with no choice but to take a display dress at the last minute, 1 week before the event! The dress color was completely off, and it was a duplicate of the dress we had chosen. The gems were falling off, and the corset and lower part were two different colors. When I raised these issues, Arianna, the manager, falsely accused me of lying despite my clear photos. Her unprofessional attitude made the situation even worse. Overall, poor quality, and late delivery! definitely not recommended. Save your self from having a headache. As shown in the picture the champagne dress is the design we had chosen to be made in a dark fuchsia color. Completely different color! Fuchsia and hot pink are different Arianna! read more

The service started off good my sister found her dress and we ordered it. Next thing you know we are told her dress was ready so we go to try it on and pick it up. We never got the dress. We get there and the dress isn't even the same color we got and the fabric was really cheap like they had tried to make it that same day. Then they tried to not give us a refund but my aunt got them to give us a refund after a lot of bickering. Do not get your dress from here. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! terrible experience. came in 6 months ago to place an order for a dress. per Diana, dress was going to be here a a month before our event. she over promises and under delivers, to the point some of her fellow coworkers actually said "yeah Diana tends to make a lot of promises for things we can't do.". we decided to go with this store because at first it service was great, but i realized it's just to get your money locked in, because they actually are very pricey compared to other stores around the area. according to diana the reasoning for such prices was because the dresses were "couture" dresses. well there was nothing couture about the dress they were trying to give to us. after spending 3k for a dress and waiting way past the time we were given, they wanted to give us a ugly, cheaply made, wrong shade dress. what a joke of a store. i will never step foot in this store ever again, if i could i would give it 0 stars. please save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere. read more

DONT COME HERE my cousin got her daughter's XV dress here a year in advance from the event date and told us that i would definitely arrive on time or even way before the date. We added 3 things to her dress a gem a clear corset and a bow they called us and told us that we could go pick it up the next day (we live in Las Vegas) BUT THAT NONE! OF THE THINGS THAT WE WANTED WERE ADDED we went to go see the dress the next day turned out THAT DRESS IS NOT EVEN OURS AND NOT HER SIZE (THEY GAVE OUR DRESS TO SOMEONE ELSE) I don't know how something that SHOULD have a name on it can be given to someone else they tried telling us that we were lying they didn't want to give us our money back we had not chosen other than to take the dress that wasn't ours. We came in on Saturday morning. The staff were friendly to us and let my daughter try on two dresses. She wanted to come in there because she saw a dress on instagram from the store. My experience at Vals Boutique was very amazing and stress free. The day that we picked out my little sisters dress, we were told that we wouldn't have to come back until the day we came to pick up our dress and accessories. They were right, when we showed up to our appointment they had everything ready for us to take home. We live 3hrs away from Los Angeles so if you live far from LA I recommend you purchase this boutique. On the day of my sisters appointment, the dress was nearly perfect. The sleeves were a tad bit too big but they quickly sent the dress to the seamstress and it was ready in 30min. They then steamed my dress and I took it home. You get the service that you pay for. Many places offered me cheaper deals but to be honest those places never deliver what they promise you. read more

Sincerely I wasn't going to reply to the review but after reading what Arianna said. Is not truth yes I order the dress on March and Arianna told me it was going to be ready in May , that day they put in the order I received a call from her saying that hey had placed the order and was going be ready in May, and they were going g to call me, which no one called and had any form of communication. And yes. Arianna promised that the extra accessory which I paid $200 extra to be ready that day , which I asked multiple times to ensure to be ready that day and they said yes Odalys and Arianna. That dress to be honest was a waist of money and at the time of the appointment we got there at 10:20 in the morning and since nothing was done we had to come back and wait for alterations to be made, we were told it will be ready before 3pm which we came back 3:30 and dress was not ready again. the alteration was a completely waist of time and poorly made for the amount of money people pay for. The accessories don't match with the dress at all so is $200 waisted. They put pins to be attached I could've done that, the dress was torn with the pins. Waist of money and waist of time, manager or owner wasn't there to check everything was done correctly. I wanted to cancelled the order right when I saw it wasnt ready , I don't know why I didn't do it to be honest. I'm not asking for a refund or anything free I'm just letting you know that a manager or the owner needs to be there to make sure the customer leave happy and satisfied with the job or what we paid for.
