This place deserves No stars! This place has the worst service ever! I placed an order for my daughters quince dress and was given a scheduled date to pick up and on day of pick up there was no dress! I was told to go the next day but couldn't because I live 3 hours away. So a new date was scheduled (which was a week after) I showed up and they said that the dress was still not ready even after they said everything was going to be done! They kept making false promises! And till this day I still don't have any of the products I paid for. Not even an apology! Really terrible service! Avoid the struggle and bad service. read more

I definitely don't believe Conny's deserves a 2 star rating! After spending a couple hours going from store to store to find the right shade of dark burgundy, in a long dress, with a high neck, and an inexpensive price I felt defeated. No one had what I was looking for for my Bridesmaid! My Maid of Honor and I were on our last bit of patience and I was ready for heartbreak and plan B (choose a lighter burgundy; ugh!) but then, I walked into Conny's! There were a couple dresses with a high neck in a dark burgundy. My MOH tried one on and I started crying! It was PERFECT for everyone and just the right price. Even with alterations (that they can provide) the dresses we're just at $100 or below! I put a deposit down (that I'll get back), wrote all the girls names down and then they can go in at their convenience to try on their dress size. The only thing that makes it difficult for my girls is everyone is from the Inland Empire, Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles and they don't typically have a fresh dress ready same day. So I've gone down quite a few times to pick up dresses or order dresses. Thank you to the whole Conny's team! We will definitely be using you for the future! read more

Out of all the shops I looked at in that area, Conny's Dress had a much more beautiful variety of dresses. I wasn't really looking for a second wedding dress, but my mom picked a dress that was absolutely stunning. I was not gonna be outdone by her so I ended up buying a beautiful dress here too. Both dresses were very affordable ( less than $300 each) and they had the dresses in their storage room. We bought the ones we tried on and went to another shop for alterations. Terrible service. I bought two dresses, one for me and one for my daughter. They did not have her size in the store so they had to order it, and mine did not fit so they called over a tailor from Fit2Me and he took my measurements in the store. The tailor said it would be $35 and that it would be done in a few hours, unfortunately it was already late so I told him if i could pick it up in 3 weeks (when I would also go pick up my daughters dress) and he said yes. I paid him right in the store, in front of the counter (where a camera points at), and he wrote me a ticket saying $35. When the 3 weeks pass I go to Fit2Me to pick up my dress, I hand the girl working the counter my ticket and she gives me my dress, but when I am about to leave with it, she tells me that I need to pay. I tell her that I already payed the tailor when he went to take my measurements at Conny's, but she says that on the ticket it doesn't say it was payed (which was my fault for trusting Conny's recommended tailor). I insisted that I had already paid, so she went to call the boy who had taken my measurements, I hoped maybe when he saw me he would remember, but nope. He told me that he doesn't take payment before tailoring (when he himself took the cash from my hand). I had to pay the $35 again because they would have kept my dress I had payed $200+ for if I didn't. When I went to pick up my daughter's dress from Conny's she tried it on again to see how it fit, but it was too big! The same woman who attended me the first time attended me again, and when she saw that the dress was big she said that she had told me last time that it would be like that, but in reality last time she had told me that the new size would fit perfectly. She then told me I would have to get it tailored, and when I told her the issues I had with Fit2Me she said that it wasn't her problem I paid double because it was a separate business (but she had recommended it)! I asked Conny to see the camera pointing right where I had given the tailor the money to show him that I had payed but she refused, also saying that it was not her problem! She also refused to refund or exchange it. So now I'm left $35 poorer, a loose dress, and a sad daughter. read more

Went to buy my bridesmaid dress with 3 other girls. I'm a bigger sized girl so they had me try on a size 16 dress so when I place my dress order they told me to write down XL. I received my dress assuming it fits me cuz I tried on a dress similar to it before ordering it! So when I went to go get my dress tailored it did NOT fit me. I'm a couple days before the wedding and my dress doesn't fit me. I called twice within this week and the lady that answers said "I'm with a customer rite now I'll call you back" as if I wasn't a customer. Overall just shitty customer service. Double check the dress you order fits before you leave. Don't recommend this place to anyone. Won't be going back. Disappointed overall. My uncle will be having 3 bridesmaids instead of 4 now because my dress doesn't fit me and I don't have the time to find a new one. read more

Run far away! A really BIZARRE person runs this place. You would need to go there to understand. I can't put a true description into words, so I won't try. Their dress selection is average for Santee. Not great. Not bad. Just average. However, after waisting an hour trying on dresses, the manager RAISED the price of the dress by $50.00 when my niece was at the register ready to pay. She didn't have any more money and neither did I. We asked him/her to hold it for 24 hours and this person refused. I understand that's the shops right to do - but he/she grabbed it out of my nieces hands!! We left without the dress. She was totally humiliated. I felt really bad. The sales girl knew the price we were quoted but she seemed too afraid of this person to stick up for us. Let me just say this. If you're looking for a deal - you definitely WILL NOT get it here. The price only goes up the longer you stay. They also nickled and dimed us for every single button and tiny alteration. Other shops were offering small alterations free. Not here. We eventually left the shop and we found a beautiful dress next door with fantastic prices and really great service. They say things happen for a reason. My niece absolutely loves the new dress and it was about half the price. Words really cannot describe our experience here. It was horrific. There are a zillion places to shop in Downtown LA. Conny was very helpful. She offered to get us the dress we wanted for less than $100 than another store. We tried the dress on and she sent us a tailor to shorten the dress. After we went to the tailors to pick it up they mentioned they had seen a stain and returned it to Conny. She then told us that she had sent to the warehouse for a new dress with no stain. We never had noticed the stain when we tried it on so I was impressed that they did this when they could have just passed off the dress the way it was.
