So we had booked a couple of appointments for my Daugther to try get fitted and try on dresses in hope of finding that elusive perfect dress. My dress was perfection! I felt incredible in it, it looked absolutely stunning, and it photographed exquisitely. Johana is such a talented designer. Wedding dresses are notorious for having a long turn around time. My dress was ready in a very short time frame. One of the things that really appealed to me was the unlimited alterations. Alterations for wedding dresses are very expensive. I did have to go back a few times for alterations, but I never had to worry about the cost. Everyone absolutely loved my dress, especially my husband Alexis was amazing to work with throughout the process. She communicated with me often and kept me in the loop. It is upsetting to have to write about this situation. Not only did they mess my wedding dress up twice, and badly, but they would not take accountability for their actions and fix it. They sent me three weeks before my wedding to go find on my own. My first alterations they made my bustle completely crooked, literally all the way to the right instead of centered, as well as leaving in this weird material under my sheer lace straps. Truly it was bad. They then took it back to fix it and bring in the waist. they were supposed to take in .5 inches and they took in 1.75 inches. I called Galudi on a Sunday not really expecting much on such short notice, but I had my wedding the following Saturday and had fallen out of love with a dress I previously purchased. I was a part of a 9 bridal party and none of us had our bridesmaids dresses "tailored to our bodies". The first actual fitting, the designer did not have all of our dresses, so she used other girls dresses to do the tailoring. One of girls paid $400.00 total for her dress to get tailored. When my dress didn't fit, she told me to just wear a bra! I had to go to downtown and pay to get it tailored. Save your money and go to downtown! You will find the same dress! I had really high expectations for Glaudi. I had researched her and I saw her high rating on yelp and google and decided to give her a try in altering my wedding dress. Since she has her own line of wedding dresses I was so excited to work with her. I ended up getting my dress from a boutique 2.5 months before the day. Once I took my dress I had an amazing lady help me out. She listened to everything that I wanted and then told me my dress would be ready in a week which it wasn't. I then decided to add cups to my dress but they told me not to come in to try it on since they already had my bra size I wouldn't need to come in until it was completely ready. That was the biggest mistake! My dress ends up being ready about a week before my wedding day. I received a call to come in to try on my dress the weekend before my wedding but I wasn't in town. When I did come in it was awful. The bra strap inside had been switched upside down, the part that they cut to make my waist area smaller (all of the extra fabric) was just sewn inside my dress in a ball, my hem was just folded (I wanted to keep the scallops at the bottom), my tail when picked up to the clips was just standing up like peacock feathers and my straps had not even been completed. I ended up coming twice or three times every day because they kept on telling me to come in because my dress was ready. My dress was not "ready" until the day before my wedding at 5pm. I put quotations around ready because it wasn't completely ready. I had extra fabric under the bust area that kept on bulging and the straps were very loose they kept on falling to the point that I only wore them for a bit and took them off. The owner kept on promising things and tried to make me feel like I had a cheap gown and that's why she couldn't work with it. This was just an excuse because I had a high end gown and it wasn't cheap, but if she was such an amazing seamstress as she kept on mentioning with great reviews she would have been able to do a good job since the beginning. I am leaving a descriptive review just to warn others so you won't have to go through what I did. read more

While some of our girls got dresses that didn't fit or in a nice glaudi bag others got there's handed in clear plastic bags with holes, after paying all that money you'd expect a nice bag the least lol! if you pick up your dress you'd expect them to fix it if it doesn't fit but they want to charge you more for it.
