Ambiance was great. We enjoyed our date night for our anniversary if strictly speaking of the ambiance. Appetizers we chose were okay. Shrimps good. Pork belly good. Ribeye chicharrones were too salty, we could see salt crystals on it and it took away from any other flavor. Barbacoa- underwhelming. Overpriced for what we received- huge fatty membrane and watery sauce. Barbacoa was our entree and we felt it fell short. Espresso martini was AMAZING! Great price for bottles of wine. read more

I think this place is beautiful! Five stars for ambiance and design! The service was also very good with one exception below. I do want to specifically call out the CHICHARRON DE RIBEYE which is LIGHTS OUT! Absolutely delish!!!! However, the rest of our food was totally flat and underwhelming. The entree portions are absolutely massive (it would have been nice to have a heads up from our server about this...) and the flavor was very one note and lacking. Our drinks were just OK. Loma's food disappoints in flavor and originality and should be a pass in favor of better Latin menus in Benton County. The drinks are fine but pricey for the flavor. It's a good rooftop patio for drinks and their ceviche. I had the standard sea bass with mango salsa, which was cooked well but an overly fatty piece of fish, which I don't see how was possible. For $44, it was an unremarkable dish. The rest of my party's proteins were unremarkable. My party also went in for some shareable sides of brussel sprouts and red rice, as most entrees are just proteins. The rice was very fluffy but lacked any seasoning or flavor. The brussels were very undercooked and nearing raw and difficult even to eat. They had just a drizzle of balsamic and some cheese, with no other spices or seasoning; they were overall bland. I don't even understand how brussel sprouts and the other menu item of seafood risotto belong on this themed menu. Besides poor flavors and unoriginal cooking, the separate proteins and sides aren't working for this menu. In that setup, the proteins need to shine on their own with bold flavors, and that doesn't happen, so it's all a bit disappointing. Try Tula in Fayetteville instead. read more

My friends and I had came to this establishment to celebrate my friends birthday because she had loved this place in the past. We were having a good time until a couple had came in. Once they had sat down we had already gotten a bad vibe from them. Of course we were taking pictures as a way of creating memories. But this couple was being very rude by whispering, staring, and pointing at us. The lady she had gotten up and ran around the establishment whispering to the waiters and ended up being loudly joking with the manager. When we had called the manager over to express our concerns he had reacted very sarcastically and shown us that he did not care at all. We asked him if that lady has or is working there he had denied it and we later had found out she does indeed work there. I don't condone people being rude at all and the fact that we were treated this way is so unprofessional. The lack of etiquette and mannerism that we were given is not something that I expected from a "high end" establishment. Our waiter also completely ignored us after we had paid and was taking a very long time to check on us or take our order. My friends and I will never return. read more

The ambiance and service made the already amazing food, even better! If you love authentic Mexican, this place is for you. If you're more of a Tex-Mex fan, you probably won't like it. For appetizers - we ordered the guacamole chicharron de ribeye from the small plates menu and thought both were very tasty with a nice presentation. For our entrees, we ordered the Mole, Chuleta Al pastor, Cochinita Pepil and Risotto a La Tumbata. We were highly impressed with each one! This is a great place for cocktails and appetizers. We have been previously and enjoyed our time on the patio. Great drinks and delicious appetizers. However, the main meal leaves a lot to be desired. I had high hopes that just were not fulfilled. I had the shredded pork, which lacked depth of flavor, and the presentation was just a big pile of meat with a couple of strips of pickled onion on top. The sides that we chose were the brussels sprouts and the corn. Both needed seasoning and were lackluster. I can think of at least two other restaurants locally that have more flavorful mexican cuisine. I don't feel that the menu prices justify the food that's being served here. The location is great. The server was pleasant. They just need to step it up on the food. read more

Loma has a great ambiance! The layout of the restaurant is great, and I can't wait for it to get warm to sit outside. The service is a bit lackluster. I had to wave down a server to ask for our server. I was frustrated that I had to do this so I apologized to the server who got a glimpse of my annoyance. I understand servers get busy, but they should be aware of their tables. A simple greeting such as "Hi there, I'll be your server tonight, and I'll be right with you" would have been suffice. There needed to be more server presence at the table. Our server took extremely long to get our order in. Another disappointing part about our experience was the drink menu. I believe that the drink menu needs some revamping; we tried to order green tea shots, but they didn't have the ingredients. We then tried to order Mexican candy shots, but again, they also didn't have the ingredients. They tried to make the Mexican candy shots with what they had, but it wasn't the same.
