    Fish Tacos

First time here, and will definitely be back to try more of their menu. I had the fish tacos. Delish! The two side sauces were awesome and the rice was a surprise. Not your normal Spanish rice but so good.

I really wanted to like this place, but the whole experience was just weird and disappointing. I (and three other of my friends) ordered the cucumber margarita thinking it would be light and refreshing, but it was honestly curdled, and tasted sweet like frosting with a cucumber floating in it. It was undrinkable. All 4 of us ordered it and not a single one could drink it. Our waiter was nice, but not knowledgeable. He told us our drinks were on happy hour but were shocked when our two drink tabs were all $45- when we asked he said it was his fault he didn't mention it wasn't actually happy hour and admitted that the bartenders were "really back and forth," which was really unprofessional. When we mentioned our drinks were not drinkable, the manager came over and told us it was our taste that were the problem, and it was a best seller with no problem. There was no offer to fix it, no apology. While we did get half off of our margs, they were left undrank at the table. The food was alright but the service was unacceptable. Needless to say, I will not be coming back.

Don't sleep on El Mezcal! This is a great gem near the Square in Fayetteville. The guacamole is homemade with delicious and fresh tomatoes, jalapeños, and onions. The chips and salsa make a great accent to start your meal. Great service and wonderful bright atmosphere!! Go taste some wonderful flavors!!

Their hospitality made us feel right at home and was definitely the highlight of our visit. The food was okay--nothing that particularly stood out, but it was satisfying. While it wasn't our favorite meal, the friendly atmosphere, warm and kind service made for an enjoyable experience. We wish this family owned business continued success and appreciate the care they put into making us feel welcome.

The bread was crisp, the sandwich held together nicely, and it had good flavor. But I think there could've been more meat; it was basically one small layer and the ratio was off compared to other ingredients. I also wasn't a big fan of the beans - I got some very pasty bites sometimes. Fries were good. Could've been a little crispier, but not a big deal. The filled churros were absolutely delicious, but they only gave me two? It used to be 3, referencing my first review. Waitress was polite and attentive.

If we had one close to where we live.... I would have to work there just to keep from going broke. The woo pig sooie seasoning is to die for. Being as it was his first time and we weren't sure if he was going to liked it, so my son got the old bay seasoning. (It is hard to go wrong with Old Bay) He got the crab legs and he loved it, but he kept dipping his crab into my seasoning. We got there about 1.5 hours until close. We were seating quickly, but it took a little bit before we could get drinks. I was a little disappointed at first, but then when our waitress came by to take our drink order. She apologized and stated she was the only there that night. I never got her name, but for someone who waited the whole place by herself... she did phenomenal. We never had to ask for refills, and she was good at answering questions on how to crack the crab legs since we were newbies at it. She talked ball with my son bonding over both being catchers. Overall we loved it and wished we had one closer to us.

The biggest disappointment was our server, he was kind but not very tentative and didn't mention any of the specials to us that we overheard from another table. Really had been looking forward to having lunch recently at this cafe…read more Their evening prices are incredibly high which prevented us from coming in previously. A group of mainly retired ladies & I eat out frequently and had selected Isabella's for lunch. Our reservation was at 1:30 although they close at 2 PM. When making the reservation I asked to make sure what their policy was: Did everyone have to leave at two or would we be able to have a relaxed lunch visit before we left because we don't get together often and usually have a longer lunch? They assured me we would be fine, we wouldn't have to rush. We did go to Isabella's. We were there by 1:30. We got our orders in and double checked with the waitress twice (once when we got there & a second time when she took the orders that it would be OK to have a longer lunch) she confirmed that it was fine ... twice. Of our group of several women & one of their adult sons, four of them split lunches because of light appetites & normally that that's not an issue. They typically get salads and salads usually are huge & easily shared however: At Isabella's one of their salads ordered to split, barely covered a normal sized saucer. It was much smaller than the size of a normal side salad. Too small for even one person! My marinated chicken sandwich matched perfectly the picture on the menu, but it had no taste. I've had much better chicken sandwich at a fast food restaurant. Our waitress was MIA. Drink refills were nonexistent unless we flagged her down. She did bring bread to our table once. She never brought a refill despite our bread plate being empty. When she was taking drink refill requests the ONE time she did stop. The crowning touch was when she came over to bring our bills, she told us we had to leave. It was barely 2:45. We've been there just a little over an hour. Her reason for this was that she had to go get lunch and then come back and get ready for the dinner crowd. Really, leave? She had to leave when she was at a restaurant and still had patrons besides us still wrapping up their meals?? She was rude I complained via email to the to the Restaurant management and was told that their food was excellent, my complaints were out of line In my complaint, I let him know that three of the ladies in the party that particular day often have huge family gatherings at their homes here locally, and they take their families out quite frequently for meals at local restaurants, including liquor bills that are probably more than the food bills. These women will now never bring their families to Isabella's based on the experiences that we had. So much future business was lost from that one lunch with the negative experiences that we had The restaurant management was as rude as the waitress was If you're wanting to have a business lunch at Isabella's, don't go. You'll be told to leave.
