We had reservations at 6. Got seated immediately, and then Jessica came to our table with cucumber water. She was very kind and had great energy. We requested to be seated outside and she took us to our new table. Our waitress was switched to Cami, who was incredible. I was indecisive on what drinks to order, and she surprised me with two that were refreshing and delicious. Her customer service was spot on, and I enjoyed the brief chats we had. I'd recommend her to anyone. The rooftop was beautiful. We ordered our entrées but was informed everything is a al carte, so we ordered two sides with it. The sea bass was light and cooked perfectly. I'd strongly recommend getting it. We also got the Cochinta Pibil, which had strong, delicious flavors. For two entrées, two sides, an appetizer, and four drinks, it was $201 without the tip. Loma is an experience, not just a restaurant. It's perfect for celebrating and special occasions. read more

This place takes itself very seriously for such poor execution. The food is decent but over salted. The service is... strange. The manager seemed to be doing 8 jobs at once and got a little snappy with me for asking a question. The servers look bewildered when we asked any question at all. For example we asked if we could order salsa letting us know we would have to order beans and there was no way around it. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks and about the same to get our food. Also the trash can in the bathroom requires you to touch the lid to throw your paper towel away. Just seems like rookie mistake for such an expensive restaurant. read more

I wanted to love this place SOO bad, but it just wasn't it. Maybe I overhyped it in my head but I didn't like it and don't see myself going back. I'll start with what I did like, though. The vibe is amazing and the patio looks like an awesome place to hang in warmer weather. The queso fundido was perfect (though a little pricey for the portion, and this is coming from someone who is used to paying LA prices for food). If you are planning to go, I would recommend waiting a few months. The bartenders need a lot more training. The spicy cucumber drink I ordered tasted exactly like the cucumber infused water that was served (zero spice or flavor) and the pink Rosa that my husband ordered was a subpar tequila sunrise. Both took 20 minutes to come out while we were some of the only people in the restaurant. I understand that as a new restaurant they are working though kinks so I'm cutting some slack on the wait time. We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers and planned on staying a lot later to order more drinks and entrees but the food/drinks were not very good and very overpriced for the quality and portion. The guac on the chicharron de ribeye plate was decent but the ribeye did not have any seasoning and was very chewy/cold. The sauce it came with tasted like sweet and sour sauce from a Chinese restaurant. The service was fine. Not great. For the price, I would expect better service, Better food, and better drinks. You really are just paying for an Instagram pic. Really sad that I did not enjoy my experience. read more

The vibe/ambiance was great and the service was good, but no where near worth the price. Drinks were fine, but my party agreed we've all made comparable drinks at home that aren't close to $20. Everything was extremely overpriced and it seems like other reviewers agree. $40-$50 (pre tax and tip) for some meat and tortillas with no sides is wild. Date night here will easily run you $250-$300 which is pushing prices of fine dining in major cities. And I PROMISE you those restaurants aren't making you use a QR code with a menu on Google Drive. If you want to charge these prices the least you can do is hand your customers a physical menu. I get that it's located across the street from one of the nicest neighborhoods in the state, which maybe why they priced it this way, but save your money and go to one of the many other great Mexican/Hispanic restaurants in town. read more

Went and took my girlfriend here for a date and I had a great experience!! I loved all the choices of drink they had on the menu. I had the barbacoa with a side of papa con chorizo and was super delicious. Our server Whitney was super great she was super sweet and had a great energy! We had an outside table reserved for 7pm. The patio is awesome, cool breeze, nice views, This was my 3rd time eating at Loma and it did not disappoint. Amazing patio, great for date nights. Food was exceptional. We had the ahi tuna, steak and pork butt tacos as starters, all phenomenal. For dinner we had the sea bass and raw bar shrimp. The shrimp was wonderful, super fresh and delivered on spice. The sea as was also delicious. Service was okay but not as professional as I'd expect from upscale restaurant. My dirty martini was exceptional but another guest in our party had his martini made incorrectly twice, we also weren't informed that the bar was on "last call", closing at 9pm, so with an 8:30 reservation we ended our meal without drinks. All in all I definitely plan to return when the weather cools and I hope they soon begin keeping the bar open later. read more

Amazing. This is southwest flair elevated to a 5 star steakhouse quality. The building is beautiful Great views, top floor, huge windows. Cool modern vibe with a soft darker ambiance. Industrial modern interior, but feels intimate without being crowded. Started with the Spicy Guava Mezcalrita. It was wonderful. Spicy but not overwhelming. We tried the guacamole, pork belly , and ahi tuna for appetizers. They were all amazing. The entire table loved the margaritas, they don't slouch on tequila, utilizing Codigo. Dinner, the short rib, filet, sea bass, and pork shoulder were all wonderful. For a southwest flair, the spice was not overpowering, but the flavors were bright and full. Sopapilla cheesecake to end was also very well done. Service is 5 star. Drinks top notch. Great for a date night or family. We brought 6 including two under 12 and everyone loved it. The food may not translate in pictures but it is absolutely amazing. Modern high end southwest flair. The short rib is the best I have ever had. The port shoulder is also amazing!! The food was bland and over-priced, several dishes were served lukewarm or cold and had to be sent back. The cocktails were also underwhelming, they failed to do simple things well. Coffee was so weak you could see through it. There are no physical menus, just QR codes, and while they have Wi-Fi, no one at our table could connect, and the cell service was bad. Absolutely top notch restaurant! I thought Tula's was good in Fayetteville but the sister restaurant, Loma's, is even better. The decor is beautiful. The restaurant decor and atmosphere is very unique and relaxed. Drinks are solid. The food was really good, had the seafood risotto. While it was a little thinner than most risottos I've had it was packed with seafood in every bite. Would definitely come back for dinner or to relax in their lounge style bar. read more

We made a reservation, but still had to wait while they figured out which table to set up/clear? Waited awhile, but finally got seated and several minutes later put in an order for drinks/apps. Waited about as long for the drinks to actually arrive and they were extremely weak. There is a difference between a well-made, balanced cocktail and a weak cocktail--this was the latter. We had the corn as an appetizer and it was the only redeeming piece of the night. The food came out hot and fresh, but my porkchop was a bit bland and very dry. I kept searching my plate for more sauce or something to add a little flavor to offset the dryness of the chop. I ended up leaving most of it on my plate. My partner's meal was a bit better, but the portions were all over the place. Overall, it was a very meh experience in a cool space/environment that was capped off with a $200 bill for two. Maybe we were just there on an off night, maybe the kitchen/bar are still finding their groove, but I'll be staying away for the time being. There are far too many great places to eat in the area to spend your night and money here. read more
