It's a small place which has a long line every morning and if u want a variety of different donuts then you gotta get here early. We went at 11am on a Saturday and they were almost sold out for donuts. Just 2 plain glazed were left. Most donut shops get a decent review because it's a simple product of dough and sugar that satisfies a craving. But if you dive deeper into the donut world, you'll find most mom and pop donuts shops use cheap ingredients and have standard, plain, and/or limited flavor options. It's hard to find a good donut shop if you're into donuts. GOOD: This place had great customer service and the price was a bit cheaper than others in the area. BAD: At the end of the day, it's about the donuts. I noticed the box was heavier than most donut boxes and now I know why. The donuts were soaked with oil (I couldn't even finish the apple fritter, which is crazy, because I never throw a donut away). On top of that, my standard "testers" ...maple bar, apple fritter, glazed, etc. were all lacking. The maple bar especially had a razor thin coating of icing and very limited maple flavor. It's a shame because, like I said, the service and price were great, but if you don't have the product, you don't have the product. read more

Quick and easy. Forgot to take a pic of menu, but $$ were similar to other shops. $18 for dozen, $9.50 for 1/2, $1.75 for reg, $3 dozen holes. At this shop, the lady was so nice and friendly, place was clean, didn't up charge us for some fancies in our dozen, doesn't charge a CC service fee, and even threw in free donut holes! The donuts were big, soft, and super yummy. First time there, usually go to the other nearby shop who always has a long line bc of slow service, but this may be our new go-to. I randomly decided to take a rest day from the gym today but since we were both up early, I trekked over to Morgan Hill to my favorite Walmart and decided to get Gavin a treat for embodying my early bird traits. After a morning of volunteering nearby I thought the Hubby and I deserved a treat and a quick Yelp shows Lomarbo's just a short drive away, little did we know half of the town was without power which included the entire shopping plaza this Donut shop is in. They had a decent selection of donuts: regular, old-fashioned, bars, fritters, rolls, etc. Nothing too different from your local donut shop. Tried the maple old-fashioned (my default donut), a buttermilk donut, and a regular glazed. Maple was heavy and a bit too sweet. The buttermilk glazed tasted just like a cake with a crunchy shell. Best of the bunch. And the regular glazed was just a regular old glazed donut. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Service was extremely friendly! I'd come back if I was in the area. I remember going to summer school across the street one summer and making frequent stops here for their pillowy soft donut holes. A recent stop here one afternoon showed me that not much had changed. Though they ran out of donut holes that day, a regular glazed was not something to scoff at. They did add a sandwich menu. I got a turkey on a croissant, and the woman was very nice and asked me if I wanted it toasted and what kind of produce I wanted on it - which I thought was a great touch to customize my sandwich, instead of automatically making it. Open, take a bite, and the egg almost slides off the sandwich because..... It's loaded with mayo. Nasty. Gave sandwich to hubby, and made a mental note to order with out mayo next time. Fast forward a few weeks. Try again. Huby orders, asks for no mayo, and brings back to the field (without checking... Eee). Open, and whaddya know... Mayo!! I walk all the way back to tell them what happened. The lady looked annoyed, didn't apologize, and took nearly 15 minutes to make another egg sandwich without mayo.
