We bought a really beautiful, realistic 7-foot pre-lit tree in 2023. We immediately noticed that the top tier has less lighting than the other tiers. So, the top looks weirdly dark compared to the rest of the tree when lit up. We contacted them to see about a replacement. We were told that our model was sold out, but we should contact them in 2024 when they were stocked for Christmas again. We did contact them this past November and we were finally told after numerous phone calls that due to the number and length of branches in various tree sections their manufacturer isn't able to make the lights uniform throughout the whole tree. So, a replacement tree would look exactly the same. They suggested that we purchase our own separate set of regular tree lights for the top section, but they can't be connected to the original lights so we wouldn't be able to use the remote control and the fun light effects. We asked multiple times to return the tree for a refund, but they refused. It was suggested that WE should have noticed the faulty lighting on the floor model in the showroom...during the daytime...with the display trees parked side by side just inside floor to ceiling glass windows...backlit by the sun. Their website boasts that they have designed and manufactured their own trees for 30 years so they are fully aware of this lighting issue. California Backyard does have beautiful, realistic trees. We loved one of their large pre-lit trees for many years before we decided that a smaller tree was in order so that's why we checked them out again. If you decide to shop there for an $800 tree like we did I suggest you do so on a cloudy day so it's not too bright in the showroom. Really take the time to evaluate the lighting on the trees before taking one home. Buyer beware - once you buy that tree it is yours forever!

Each was professional and pleasant to deal with. We couldn't be more pleased with the entire process and the end result. We will be painting it to match our house.

So what he did he showed me a lot of books filled with all the furniture that they have. I had a seat and I looked at all the books. There were so many of them that I actually liked. I had difficulty picking one. They were all very beautiful bedroom sets and exactly what I was looking for according to the color . I ended up picking a bedroom set . The delivery was very quick and very sufficient. The guys built everything for me in a good timely matter. They picked up all their trash. Everything went great. I am in love with my bedroom set. I was still in the hunt for a couch and I found one that I really liked and I sent a picture to Daniel and I asked him if they carry this one and he said they do so I ordered it. I went back inside and ordered it. My couch got delivered with in the next day. They set it up for me same experience and I got the couch that I really wanted. Overall, if you're looking for any furniture, I definitely recommend this store. They have so many books you could look at they have so many furniture there anything you would want. Saying they have it, plus store address & hours. Drove 2 hours to come check it out. Come to find out they don't have it in the store it's in the wear house plus it's $2,000+ . So as you can see why I'm super disappointed. Post was misleading. Plus the gentleman who welcomed us in was way too pushy. We said we just want to look and he kept hounding us with question and deals, that alone would make me walk out if I was looking for new couch. Of course, we ended up leaving with candy, lotion, and some oil. World Market is honestly one of my favorite stores because they have such a huge variety of things you normally wouldn't find at a regular store. You can walk in looking for one thing and end up discovering all kinds of random stuff. They had everything from unique candy and snacks to different cooking oils and even hand soap in a bag, which honestly blew my mind. I especially enjoy checking out all the unusual snack and candy flavors they carry. Half the fun of coming here is just walking around and seeing what you can find. This location had the same fun feel as the other World Markets I've visited, and the staff was nice as well. Overall, our little side quest was a success. We found our candy and a few unexpected extras along the way. Definitely a fun stop before the movies!

The shop is beautifully staged and items displayed. Most everything is clearly marked with prices. Pricing is not astronomical. Good quality items that will last. They encourage sitting and testing out furniture. Testing out not reenacting a 10 year old birthday party shenanigans. I do enjoy shopping at this location. In the Sacramento area there are two locations with this being one of them. The other is in downtown Sacramento. Parking in that regard is much better at the Fountains since Wear Elm's building is on the peripheral right there with its own parking lot. Several handicapped parking spaces right in front. I personally don't recall any issues with customer service at the shop. I've been a customer for quite awhile having bought bedding, kitchen serving ware, and living room furniture ( with home delivery). But this place can get busy on the weekends and as par for the course now days in retail; they might not have enough staff to accommodate the occasional influx of customers. So customers may have to wait for individualized immediate attention. I understand that.

I took a Painting 101 class with Mary, the owner, and she was a terrific teacher. The difference was that I could use the class to paint my own item, if I liked, rather than just try techniques on wood boards, as some do. All supplies were included in the 3-hour class.
