Capital Appliance did not fix my fridge that was under warranty from Frigidaire. My fridge is now out of warranty. The request was put in April. Their tech came out in April, nothing was replaced or fixed. No one came back out until September to replace a back panel. That did not fix the condensation issue. The tech's damaged the fridge, floors, and oven. The tech cracked a hole in my fridge that condensation is not getting into. The owner Robert made it seem he was working with Electrolux to replace the fridge unit. Is not responsive to emails and phone calls. Found out from Electrolux that Capital Appliance closed my file behind by back. They lied to Electrolux about the diagnosis, lied about fixing the fridge, lied about the parts that were fixed, and pushed my fridge outside of warranty. My fridge is still not fixed and the owner/business will not respond to my emails. I would not recommend Capital Appliance and I would not recommend Frigidaire/Electrolux products.

The freezer panel was supposed to be looked at last as an afterthought, as I told the lady on the phone. But he wanted to see it first. So he had me empty the freezer, took it off to see behind it then told me the panel could be ordered and replaced. That I could do it myself or my landlord could. Expensive panel, VERY expensive, for a piece of plastic!! He said $390-something, for a piece of plastic. Then he watched the ice maker make one round of ice, about 10 nuggets, it worked that long, he asked me for the diagnostic charge, $82, it didn't go through on his debit machine so he called his company for advice. Was on the phone with them for a few minutes, then put it through a different way, I paid him and he left. Didn't even stay long enough to see it crap out. Right after he left, the ice maker did what it's been doing - stopped and went back to the "add water" light even though it's FULL OF WATER. So like I said, $82 out of my pocket and he did nothing. The ice maker is still broken like it was and he did nothing to it. *SIGH* Very disappointed.

He found us a heavily discounted fridge ( some very minor dents) which was exactly the same as the one we liked on the floor. He found the history of why the fridge had been returned and printed us up a complete manual. He is a salesperson any company would be very fortunate to have in its employ The checkout process was handled smoothly by Kadence despite the computer system being down. He then very quickly got back to us with exact quotes for each of the two possible solutions, and advised of a multi-week back order for the main part. His financial arrangements are very straightforward and represent good value. In the end we decided to go with a new washer, but Alan really impressed us and we will have him as first choice for any other appliance issues we may face.

Serving spoons don't fit in either the tray above, or the silverware organizer on the base tray. But most annoyingly, it doesn't wash dishes. We've tried every setting, different soaps etc. Called Bowest and was told all purchases are final sale. They suggested we call Frigidair who told me they can service the unit, but will not return it, citing that the service fee for a technician can be paid by credit card if they deem it not covered by the manufactures warranty. I was offered the opportunity to purchase accessories for the dishwasher at the end of my call. Needless to say, we've found another supplier, for our new KitchenAid appliances.

We paid extra for delivery and removing the old unit which was to occur today. while the new machine did arrive today, we were informed the new washer would not accomodate the dryer on top without a converter kit. as our existing appliances are approx. 14 yrs old, a converter kit or suitable replacement for washer with existing dryer is not available through Bowest. our sales agent advises we did not advise the washer was part of a stackable unit denying any knowledge of our advices and measuring. we today cancelled our order but advised we would have to pay for today's delivery even though the mistake was made by Bowest. The new unit was returned and Bowest has taken no responsibility for the error.
