We did not have an agent so we decided to have her represent us, well we quickly realized that was a mistake and we were in for a stressful and long transaction. It kind of sucks because we could not get rid of her in the middle of the contract afraid to loose the house in case she did something to sabotage the deal. This lady did not represent us, did not put our interest before hers, not to mention the communication. We were expected to do this transaction thru texting, would not keep us informed, would answer your message late at night, always had excused something was going on in her life such as selling her own property, out of town, on vacation etc. When she did return your call, she was in a rush, had no info to share, sounded bothered by the fact she has to return the call. My husband told her once her service was very unprofessional and she said she would do better, that even the sellers were saying the same to her and she was frustrated. At one point the loan officers told her the same thing by email and after that she cut off all communication with him. On the week we are suppose to close she takes a vacation and the night before after looking for her for days by phone and text she replied that she was at the boardwalk and would send a replacement for the walk thru. long story short, the replacement knew very little about the questions we had and we did most of the interaction with the sellers on our own. I contacted the broker at this Atwater office via fb messenger and instead she replied saying all messages go to her and why did I want to speak with him, I was able to google him and get his email, he never responded. He finally called me and left me a msg, I called him back after closing because I was not ready to address this issue being it was such a headache, stressful and tense time for us so I waited until we signed off on the house and had some time to analyze the whole experience. The broke obviously took her side and said it was her top selling agent and office manager and was not really interested in what transpired. I wont speak for the sellers but I was told by them they also had a hard time communicating with this lady and that texting was very unprofessional in her part. to this day, 22 days after closing we have not had a call, a thank you note or anything from this agent, very disappointed by her professional character.

Did I get approved? Not? It's been a month. Since I needed a place fast due to owner selling my home, I just applied elsewhere. I tried to get a response-nothing! Had to move on. This showed me they haven't changed. What a lame business. George, DO BETTER! Fire your daughter if she can't keep up. Her personal life is more important than your business.

All requests are so simple to make through the portal and they are very quick to taking care of everything. The maintenance men Cruz and Leo were great too. They did things like hanging curtains and changing out doorknobs for them without hesitation. Moving out was out of unforeseen circumstances during this awful Covid pandemic and Julie and the owners were more than supportive and understanding of it all. We are blessed and grateful to have had such a wonderful property manager. Julie went above and beyond throughout their stay. I am a full time grad student at UC Merced and work a few other jobs aside from that so I am rarely…read moreat home but I think the place is great. Julie from management is really sweet and will help you out even on days she is not here. On a random Sunday my garbage disposal was not working and she send someone over as soon as I sent her an email. I complained once about the neighbors being really noisy at 3am on a Tuesday and she took care of it the next day. I cannot say enough nice things about the management because they are great. The apartment is huge and although the walls are sometimes too thin I feel super safe living here by myself. Everything is roomy but it is still cozy. It is definitely pricier than the rest of Merced but the place is nicer than the rest of Merced. The gym is nice, I mostly use the elliptical but it is always super clean and overlooks the pool which is always nice. Plus it is under MID so I paid $12 in electricity which is SWEET. My electric bill never went over $20 aside from the one time I forgot to pay and they charged me $5 as punishment. I am taking a star off because of the train. I managed to get used to it but it was definitely annoying when I first got here. I still hear it now and it sometimes serves as an alarm clock but it did take some getting used to. There are also people who don't know how to park which is somewhat bothersome but there's always parking for guests right by my apartment. Overall if you think you can get used to the train I think this place is 5 stars. You definitely get what you pay for and more. I love it here and I will miss it now that I am moving out of Merced to the Bay. I cannot recommend it enough.
