And if by chance you do get ahold of someone, they quickly rush you off the phone and tell you "Look at our website for all information" before I even get a chance to get a word in and ask questions the website doesn't have the answers to. AND at the very top of all this BS, they want you to FAX, Email, or just leave sensitive personal information like social security number and bank statements at their door when they aren't there. Not to mention they charge $25 bucks per application. They almost made $100 bucks off me today, until I figured out this is just some kind of sick tactic scam they have going on. The house I was trying to rent out from them has been on the market for the past six months and only just recently had a open house. I can't imagine how they would be if I were to rent the house from them. Glad I chose to walk instead. Everyone else should do the same and steer clear of this dump. It doesn't even match its building name to its application name. That was the first red flag right there. Also one last thing to point out, the host of the open house obviously made up a charge of pet rent when I asked if they accepted any. She first said "no" then made up a charge of $500 for only small pets.

Questions would come up and I'd either get no response or something super vague days later. After a while, I just stopped asking and hoped nothing went wrong, which isn't exactly comforting when real money is involved. Once Chambers took over, that changed pretty quickly. Now when I have a question, I ask it and I get a real answer. Not days later. Not after following up multiple times. Just a normal, timely response like you would expect. It sounds basic, but it made a huge difference. What really stood out to me was how approachable they are. I've asked about lease stuff, tenant situations, random landlord questions, even things I probably should already know. I never felt rushed, brushed off, or made to feel dumb for asking. There were also times I reached out about things that weren't urgent at all or weren't technically their issue yet. They still helped me think it through and gave honest input. That was unexpected and genuinely appreciated. At this point, I don't feel like I'm guessing anymore. My priors manager's communication was terrible and to make things worse they were also unapologetic and unprofessional. I think the latter may have actually pissed me off more. After my frustrating experience, I spent a lot of time researching for a better property manager. After interviewing Kendra, I decided to switch to Chambers, and the difference has been unimaginable. Kendra and her team have been nothing short of amazing. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely make me feel valued as a client. Kendra's communication is excellent, she's quick to respond and always keeps me informed. The level of service she provides has given me peace of mind, something I desperately needed. I also appreciate having Chambers PM, specifically Kendra, to serve as a resource. My other properties are in Oakland and Walnut Creek, which is currently out of their service area, so I self-manage those rentals. And any time I have question about landlording or just need a second set of eyes on a tenant application, Kendra is willing to offer her expert advice, even though those properties aren't being managed by Chambers (yet! when/if they come to the Bay, those properties will be managed by Chambers.) My tenants are also much happier now. Kendra doesn't waste any time finding reliable tenants to fill vacancies whenever I may have one and her attention to detail has made property ownership stress-free. They wanted to cut down a tree that their tenant and I shared without my permission and without telling me. when I tried to call to let them know that I did not want the tree to be cut down, she got snippy with me. when I tried to explain that there were trees in her tenant's backyard that had fallen and broke the roof and side of the building of my garage, I didn't get a chance to explain because she hung up on me. I had to call code enforcement to talk to this unreasonable woman. the woman agreed to not cut down the tree but the next day, early in the morning, a team of tree cutters came to cut down the tree. I informed him what happened and he left. I felt bad for the guy, he was kind and considerate, unlike the woman working at Jaque and company. I guess they can have one star for being great for landlords in a way that they try their best to make as much money for the landlords and take from the tenents and neighbors of their tenents.

Niki was patient enough to show me at least 10 homes (I lost count :) before I finally found THE one. I remember she called me as soon as the house hit the market and told me I had to see this house. I said okay, I'll see it this weekend. She told me no, today, because the house was such a hot deal, it wouldn't last until the weekend. So I rolled out of bed, drove from Merced to Chowchilla before work, looking like hell. And the rest is history. I got an absolute dream home at a steal of a price. The entire process was so smooth. There were no bidding wars or last minute "surprises" at all. Escrow closed ahead of schedule and 4 years later I still refer everybody in Chowchilla to her. Bottom line is nobody beats her (and her team's) experience or knowledge when it comes to Chowchilla real estate. Others may try, but nobody has the knowledge and excellent customer service skills Niki has.

I have been biting my tongue about the dissatisfaction I have endured living under the Sordi Property Management, and Daniel really took me to the breaking point. I have been frustrated with the fact that our HOA has increased $30 and we have seen zero benefit. They just changed our gate system and I am CONSTANTLY getting my packages delayed because the call box does not correctly dial my phone number, as it should, to let it delivery drivers. Further, my husband does not have a remote (they are an extra $25, and it took me weeks to receive mine) and has relied on the call box to let him in, we called and guess what, it was disconnected and my husband waited outside of the gate for 20 minutes. I called to express my disappointment in the system and Daniel took it upon himself to argue with me like the teenagers that I work with on a daily basis. I understand there are rules, fine. Living in an HOA is a social contract where you pay, and in return, expect to see some kind of benefit. And if not, then it is my right to bring it to the property managers attention. Now, listening to Daniel do his best to berate me had to be one of the funniest phone calls of my life. You really did your big one tough guy. But let's be serious, it was completely out of line and extremely unprofessional. This company should truly be ashamed of the way they handle business. If anyone is on the fence for good property management, especially in a gated community...one that prioritizes RESPECT, PROFESSIONALISM, and TACT. Please, just look elsewhere.

I have a friend in a different building that is going through similar situations with Deborah And now is going to court with Clearwater.
