When trying to understand the ongoing swelling in my leg, I attempted three separate times to schedule an appointment with the doctor. Each time, I was seen by a PA instead, without that being clearly communicated in advance. I was told it wasn't a significant concern and didn't need to be addressed. After seeking a second opinion from another vein specialist, I learned that the issue does, in fact, require further treatment and that the original treatment plan was not effective.
