I am a fairly big klutz at times.... especially when it comes to my iPhone. My iPhone 3 had to have the screen replaced three times and my iPhone 4 just once (so far). The iPhone 3 repairs were done by three different places here in Dallas as I was never satisfied with the repair and would try another shop. Each shop used third party glass of poor quality that not only felt strange when maneuvering but also broke with the slightest impact. In fact contact with a set of keys in my pocket caused the screen to break in 1 incident. Furthermore I felt like I was being overcharged when they were using substandard parts as the glass/digitizer replacement cost between 149 and 169. After upgrading to an iPhone 4 I went a little over a year without breaking the screen as the 4 is much more forgiving. The inevitable happened the day before I was scheduled to be in Greensboro, NC and I needed to get it fixed ASAP. I work in Irving and a search for "Irving, TX iPhone Repair" turned up several results. What made Lone Star stand out if that they had been in business since 1999, used genuine parts and had a special on the exact repair I needed for $89. I took my phone to their kiosk in Irving Mall and was greeted by the owner. I watched as he disassembled the phone with such precision that each move of his hand was productive. Each part and screw was systematically placed to make reassembly fast and correct. My phone was again perfect and I could tell that the glass was genuine. About a week later I dropped my phone while getting out of the car. When I couldn't find it I retraced my steps and finally located it in the flower bed next to the driveway covered in leaves. The phone looked fried. The next day I took it to Irving mall and he disassembled it, and while I walked around the mall took a blow dryer and dried it out and brought it back to life. He remembered me from the screen replacement and only charged me $5 since he had recently done work on it and did not have to replace any parts. His honesty today is what motivated me to write the review as he could have told me anything and charged for a water damage repair. I give them 5 stars for quality of repair, 5 stars for Customer Service, 5 stars for honesty and 5 Stars for pricing. read more

So I was on my way to Korea, for a business trip, when I needed to get a quick fix on my phone before catching a flight within the next couple hours one day. I heard about this cell phone repair shop at Irving Mall which is pretty close by the airport and figured, why not, I'd save time since it was on my way. As I came to the shop, which wasn't too hard to find being that it was up in front of Victoria's Secret (with lovely posters), there it was, it wasn't a big repair shop, it was rather small. The big guy, Alex, greeted me respectfully, which you don't get too much of these days, and without asking me too much, he already knew what my phone needed just by looking at it. Within fifteen minutes, he repaired my phone, advised me on how to take care of any further issues, and actually taught me a few things in Korean! The best service, I'd ever received at a typical shopping mall was here at Lone Star Mobile. Not only are they well informed of what they're doing, but they really got the attitude to go along with everything else. Good prices, you really get your money's worth and they got great products. I contacted Long Star Mobile at (214) 551-4796 and gave a detailed report of my car issues. It was a check engine light. I gave code of the problem (Cam Shaft Sensor) I was told $125. to repair. When mechanic came to me, first thing he said Do You Have the Part - Aww No. Was not told had to have the part. Was quoted $125. Well, I was informed $29 to go get the part and I had to pay for the part. If Co-worker takes me to get part - $40 for every 30 minutes he waited. My car wouldn't start and I didn't have a choice.Then was told really will $141.00, so why $15 worth of taxes. Complained and was charged the quoted $125. In the end I paid $215. - $125.00 and $60 for part and mechanic $29. Will never use they Ass again. I should have told everything up front. Got Done with No Grease at All!!! read more

Never been to a better place than lone star, the owner and I conversed while he was fixing my phone, very approachable, he not only was able to fix it, he showed me the problem, the defected part and told me how my phone went bad. The last time I fixed my phone was at a local phone repair shop owned by what I believe an indian, the man was rude, not approachable, not social, and I could barely understand what he was saying. On top of it, his products were cheap and my phone fell apart within a month. Its been over a couple of months, my phone is working perfectly since it was fixed at lone star mobile and many of my friends have gone there as well. Very professional at what they do. read more

This place is AMAZING! Fast and excellent service. The techs are so honest and transparent. George is the man! They want you to know the what, why, and how. Even if it means you have to taking the device elsewhere or replacing the device. I have been to this place numerous of times for my cellular device repairs and have never been disappointed. This place is awesome! I had dropped my phone several times without issue but my last drop finally broke the phone. Because I've always been skeptical of these repair places, I went ahead and bought a new phone. That would have been the end of it if not for my upcoming trip overseas. I decided to repair my old 4S to use as my travel phone. To my surprisethey fixed my phone.
