I totally agree Dixie was in bad shape when I picked him up. i believe Dixies health deteriorated after catheter was removed. prematurely at midnight. Seriously, it could have been left in until the following day at least. My Vet said that he could survive with bladder stones and he would operate in 2 weeks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only conversation I had with Kayla lasted 5 min when I first arrived, then when she called to say she was removing the catheter at Midnight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I think she was punishing me for not paying more money, I wished she would have just asked for more money. I do not have credit but I can borrow from my Aunt or sell stocks, it takes a couple days to process. I am debt free, I own my home and cars. i could not write a check for more than I had in my bank account. I paid off my College loans, had a successful business in AZ for twenty five years. I got into trouble with credit, cut up my cards. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I guess I should have dressed better so I wouldn't be treated like a low life.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pixie, (Dixie's twin brother) and I are miserable , so very sad! I know there are some kind and compassionate people that work at Urgent care. I brought my aunts sick cat there last year. Had a good experience, one on one talk with Vet, not the tag team I experienced. I have researched Dixie's condition, events that took place, malpractice. I have a right to his records, I am compiling evidence to support my case to submit to Nebraska State Board of VeterinarIans .

Our dogs got in a scuffle over food and one hurt his eye. Being Sunday our vet was closed. We rushed our dog to the urgent care to look at his blood pooled eye. Even though they were very busy, the staff was honest with wait times and it didn't take too long to be seen. Both the nurse and the vet were personable to us and more importantly to our dog. They treated us as if we were the only patient they had seen. The vet even got down on my dogs level instead of putting him up on the table. We got the meds we needed and followed the recommendation to follow up with our vet that week. I'm happy to say my dog is fully recovered and as much as I hope to never be in that situation again, it gives me piece of mind knowing that in an emergency we can get such personable quality care.

W clinic. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They really are a life saver.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My boy is back on the streets from his broken leg.

This rating is on pricing alone. They want you to pre-approve $500 for CPR. Southpaw Emergency clinic asks $50. Enough said.

They got that person put in a room right away (good choice). They all maintained an upbeat attitude, and that would be so hard. The doctor, Margarita, was extremely thorough, she felt every part of her body, and told me what she was feeling as she did it. It was about 4 hours spent there (we did an x-ray, they had a shift change, mine was a not as urgent of a case, and the waiting room was completely packed when we left.) Two things I didn't like: she told me she was "debating on if we should hospitalize her over night to keep watch" which really wasn't necessary with the symptoms. I told her I'd much rather take her home and that was the end of it though. The second was when leaving, it was dark (9pm) a guy was looking at me really weird while I was paying then went over to his friend and talked to him then followed me out. I was letting my dog potty before getting in the car, and fumbling in my purse to get my keys out. He kept asking me questions about my dog and he did not seem like a good guy. I wouldn't turn my back to him and had to tell him 3x to have a good night so he would get away from me, and he tried to approach me again while getting in my car. The parking lot needs to be better lit and more security in place since it's a 24hr establishment it attracts a lot of odd people and I really think if I would of had my guard down he would of done something.

I took my German shepherd Gideon here for the first time about a year ago and Lia is amazing! Gideon is a very anxious dog and she is great with him. In addition every time I take him in to get his nails filed, whoever it is doing his nails always does great with him. He clearly doesn't love it, but everyone is so gentle and patient with him, I'm really impressed. Recently my boyfriend and I adopted another German shepherd, this time a puppy named Skye. She had her first day of daycare last week and loved it!! They even gave her the lunch I packed for her which I really liked. She came home exhausted and fell asleep in the car. I really like that when I picked her up, the staff for the daycare side had very specific reports of who she played with, how she played, etc. As someone who used to work in a doggy daycare, I have to say this place is top notch. They don't overbook their daycare side (which is huge to me because so many dog daycare places have 1 person to 40 even 50+ dogs, so it's easy to miss some key behaviors in that environment) so my pup wasn't overwhelmed and I knew she was watched well all day. Overall, imo, the best daycare place in town and their grooming is top notch. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I have been taking my Danes here sporadically over the years. My first Dane came back with kennel cough not once, but twice. I decided to not take her back. After that I acquired 2 different Danes and decided to give them another try and boarded my dogs there frequently due to work travel. Luckily no kennel cough, however the cost was outrageous to board 2 Giant Breeds for multiple days on end. I have since switched to having someone come to the house, so I have both a dog and house sitter. All that to say, my most recent experience with them was terrible. I decided to take them for a simple partial daycare day. My two Danes and I arrived right as they were to open at 8am. Multiple employees showed, however none of them were the receptionist so the people waiting couldn't be let in until that individual got there. About 15 minutes later she finally shows, but during this time my girls are getting overly excited and fired up due to the long wait and one of mine decided to nip at her sister in the back of the car. The key here is that when I scolded her and wiped off my Dane that she snipped at--there WAS NO BLOOD AND CERTAINLY NO PUNCTURE WOUNDS. I picked them up at approx. 2pm that day and by the time we got settled in at home, the facility was closed so I couldn't call them to let them know that my dog had completely dried and crusted blood all along her right side of her face, including two very large puncture wounds. I was NEVER notified of these very visible wounds (even if it had happened that morning), and since Paw Spa doesn't have cameras in their kennels, there's no way to know what actually happened. After sending pictures to my vet, I ended up having to rush her in as the wounds were severely infected and required antibiotics and a $215 vet bill. The staff I spoke to the days following, tried their best to help and were very kind but the owner had been out of town and fell ill, so I had to wait nearly a week for a call back from her to "remedy the situation". When she called me, she was completely accusatory, defensive, and blamed me and my dog that had snipped in the car that morning but again, no puncture wounds or blood after this incident! She forcefully told me she most certainly would NOT be paying the vet bill and that the only incident was with my dog in the parking lot. When I called out the fact that nobody noticed, she turned the blame on me that I hadn't either; which I did, but it was after hours for them. She then continued on that "her staff is new, they've raised minimum wage and she's a small business, and taxes are out of control", etc. NOT MY PROBLEM OR RELEVANT. She determined she would not be allowing them to board in the same kennel which I agreed to, however I would be charged double; make that make sense when it's no different than two dogs going for one day-hmmm? Her "solution" was to begrudgingly offer me two free daycares (which is actually one day since they apparently have to be charged twice for being in separate kennels). I was so infuriated and flabbergasted at the situation that I said fine. Why in the world would I ever take my dogs back there after this? Clearly my dogs were not getting the attention or affection they deserve while there, or someone would have felt and saw that my dog had extremely visible wounds and blood on her face. Lack of responsibility and blame game from the owner, inexperienced and newer staff, overpriced services, why go back? DO NOT RECOMMEND. There are so many other fantastic, affordable solutions out there where my dogs get the love and attention they deserve.

In less than two days, she came home a complete wreck. She reeked of poop and urine, had visible scratches on her nose, chipped nails, and had fully lost her bark. That does not happen from normal "play." When I raised serious concerns, I was brushed off and told she was "playing hard" and that we were "lucky" they did not charge us for the "sanitation bath" they told me they gave her. Sheila, the owner, even dismissed my concern about my dog losing her bark by saying, "dogs bark, they bark all the time," followed by, "I can take you back there so you can hear." This was said instead of showing any concern for my dog's condition. Every attempt to get real answers was met with a condescending "we have it on camera," yet no explanation, accountability, or effort to resolve the issue was provided. The conversation ended with Sheila abruptly hanging up on me the moment I said we would not be returning. No apology. No concern for my dog. Just hung up. This is appalling customer service and extremely concerning animal care. If a dog can come back in this condition after such a short stay, that should alarm any pet owner. Do not trust this place with your pet.
