He walked us through everything in detail and answered all our questions. He issued a quote in a very timely manner, broken down by line item, and he walked us through it in detail. He even helped us learn the end date of our warranty. He could not have been more thorough or professional.

Monday morning, I got a call from Parobek Plumbing, who assured me that although they were booked solid, they would do their best to send one of their experienced technicians. Within several hours Waylon was on his way to give us a true inspection of issues. He gave us three different options to meet our needs and as soon as we gave the green light, he was working as fast and efficient as possible. My wife felt relieved that within several hours, Waylon had tested our system and was ready to wrap it up!! He also gave us a bid on several other projects we had held off on and look forward to booking Waylon again in the future with some of our bigger projects. I highly recommend Parobek Plumbing & AC.

Do NOT hire this company. Especially now…read more.. They are BANKRUPT. They're currently taking customers money and not refunding for overcharges or refunds that are due. They quoted my girlfriend $1,200 to replace a disposal. They charged her $600 for a deposit to hold the job to come sometime within a week, and within 20 minutes when I found out they tried to rip her off she called back and said she found out what it actually costs, and wanted to cancel. They gave her the runaround, and finally agreed to return the $600 deposit. The $1,200 they said it'd cost to do? Someone showed up the same day for $100 and was done in 30 minutes. From their reviews it looks like they do that to as many people as possible. They've been telling us "your refund will be processed soon" for over 2 months now. Our complaints are just given to someone they won't give us a name or number for. Some have said, "our policy is we're not allowed to give the name of our manager or put you in touch with them." Super sketchy. One employee spilled the beans and looks like Stephen Warren and Alan Torres are the ones who aren't processing people's refunds. Not sure if there's others involved or what's going on. BANKRUPTCY: Turns out, they have a habit of not paying people back. Right now they are likely ripping people off even more than usual because it looks like they are bankrupt. So not sure if they are taking as much money from people as they can before they close the doors or what's going on. See attachment. Max Hicks is the owner. Did some digging on him and it turns out he has a history of not paying people back. He looks to have dozens of lawsuits against him for money he owes people and/or other unethical behavior. Here's one of many: https://trellis.law/case/48453/d-1-gn-26-000303/prime-lodging-llc-vs-max-hicks As if that's not bad enough, they're rated "F" by the Better Business Bureau for so many complaints and non-resolutions. Gave them well over 2 months to pay back before leaving this review. They will steal your money. If they have that many lawsuits against them, imagine how many other people they've conned that didn't go through the headache of suing them. Especially right now that they are literally in bankruptcy.

We had Cannon Plumbing replace a tank water heater with a tankless type. My overall experience…read moreworking with them was pretty terrible. The owner Connley talked to me on the phone before the project, took all the information and sent me an estimate for a condensing type tankless water heater. The estimate was higher than others I had received, but a building/restoration contracting company I was working with recommended Cannon, so I took their word for it and went with them. From start to finish, the job took longer than anticipated and communication was poor. I get that tradespeople may get stuck in a job resulting in other jobs getting delayed. But I expect proactive communication to let me know when they are going to be several hours late or no show up at all. I felt like Connley and Cannon Plumbing just took my time for granted and didn't think it was important to keep me informed if they weren't going to show up. And to top it all, I discovered after the job was complete that the tankless heater model they installed was one that was several hundred dollars cheaper than the one they had indicated in the estimate as well as the final invoice at job completion. I brought it to Connley's attention in early January. He promised someone will contact me to make this right. Given my priori experience with them, I wasn't holding my breath. It's now been over 3 months, and still there has been no attempt to get this corrected. I would not recommend Cannon Plumbing to anyone.

Daniel's Plumbing and Air Conditioning

Daniel's Plumbing and Air Conditioning

I chose Daniel's Plumbing & HVAC in September 2025 for a full HVAC replacement. I went with them…read morebecause their customer service seemed great during the sales process, and they promoted a strong warranty and service plan that was included in the price. Unfortunately, the experience didn't really live up to those expectations. The installation itself didn't go as planned. During the initial appointment, measurements apparently weren't taken correctly. When the installers arrived, they realized the system wouldn't fit as expected and had to cut out part of the ceiling to make everything work. Because of this, the installation took much longer than expected and they had to come back another day to finish the job. About a month later when I tried to turn the heat on for the first time, the system didn't work. I had to call for a service appointment, and the technician discovered that the system had never actually been turned on by the installers. The tech initially tried to charge me around $100 for the visit, which I pushed back on since the issue was clearly related to the installation. After some discussion they eventually agreed not to charge me. Now that it's tax season, I've run into another issue. One of the selling points during the sales process was that the system would qualify for energy tax credits and rebates. When I started filing my taxes, I learned that the IRS requires the cost of each component to be itemized. However, my invoice from Daniel's lists everything as one lump sum. For the past couple of months I've been calling Daniel's trying to get an itemized invoice or clarification so I can properly claim the rebate. Each time I've been told that Adrian would call me back, but I never received a return call. Today I finally spoke with someone who told me they will not provide an itemized invoice and didn't really have any solution. The whole experience has been frustrating. The sales process and promises were great, but the follow-through has been disappointing. Between the installation issues, the system not being turned on, and now the lack of support with documentation for the rebates they promoted, the customer service just hasn't matched what was advertised. I'm not sure I could recommend Daniel's based on my experience. If customer service and clear communication matter to you, that's something to keep in mind.

We scheduled an appointment for an estimate and received an initial quote via email. After…read morementioning we had a more competitive offer from another company, the same Daniel's estimator provided a secondary revised quote with a lower price, which ultimately led us to choosing Daniel's for the repair. The job itself had to be rescheduled on short notice and we were accommodating to the request. However the work was completed well and the technician was friendly and professional. However, the issue came with billing. The invoice we received did not reflect the most recent discounted quote we had agreed to. We contacted the company multiple times and were told each time that a manager would call us back, but we never received a response. After several follow-ups and no resolution, the situation escalated into a frustrating phone conversation. In the end, we felt it wasn't worth continuing to pursue and paid the higher amount, despite it not matching the agreed-upon quote. While the quality of the work was good, the lack of follow-through and failure to honor the quoted price left a very disappointing impression. We were not in pressed with the professionalism of the front office and warn patrons to be weary of estimates.
