I called the company as a recommendation from a friend. The appointment was scheduled timely and the tech showed up on time, and was efficient. I needed a downstairs faucet tightened, and an upstairs sink repaired. The faucet and hardware was old and needed to be replaced, and the tech went to the warehouse to get one and replaced it efficiently. The work took 2 hours with travel time. It was all great until I got the bill. $710. To swap out a faucet. The labor was $250 per hour, which to me is outrageous. I will not call this company again. read more

I had used a previous company before and I thought they were good. It was Extreme Plumbing and Hydro. I had roots in my sewer line and Extreme came out and ran a line 6 ft down. The issue came back in a week. I called them back and they wanted me to pay $16k to dig and replace the line. They said running a line further down wouldn't solve the issue. I called Johnny Rooter and they came with another solution and ran a line further down while cutting roots. Johnny Rooter said it wasn't necessary to dig and replace. This company is honest, fast and priced well. I trust them and will definitely use them again for plumbing needs. I paid Extreme the first time to run a line, which cost more than Johnny, and they didn't fix the issue. AND Extreme didn't even apologize for the issue coming back within a week nor did they offer a refund or another solution other than the $16k option. Definitely not using Extreme again. read more

These guys are the best of the best. I was/am a brand new first time homeowner and bought a house built in the 70's. Needless to say there is never an end to the various issues that pop up. When it got down to below freezing temps around Christmas, we went out of town. New owners of our home, we didn't want to risk not being here, so we turned our water off at the street. Came back home to no issues, but when we turned our water (and water heater) back on, we noticed our water pressure was low in our master bathroom sinks. Unfortunately, we were headed out for vacation the next day and didn't have time to deal with it then, on top of it being Christmas Day. Do. NOT. Use. THIS. Company. At. All. $215.00, 1 Hour & 40 Minutes... to do a $50.00 and 30 minute job. Need I say more? Well, I'm going to anyways. I actually had them repair my bathroom sink fixture [over] 1 year ago, which went well, despite the hefty service bill. So [Over] a year later, the same fixture started to leak, so I called them to come out and repair it.... however, sink fixtures are ONLY guaranteed for 1 year (how about them apples). The plumber comes out 2 days ago to repair the leak, does not have the [SMALL] part to replace what is causing the leak, in his [BIG] truck, so he has to go get it. 40 MINUTES later he returns to replace the part. I get home later that afternoon, and when I turn the handle on the fixture, the leak is WORSE. I called to have them come and fix it again... 53 MINUTES to arrive and re-do the fixture and stop the leak finally. "sorry for the inconvenience", he says sarcastically while rolling his eyes. They must think that everyone works at Google or Facebook... and can just come and go to work at our leisure, but for most of us, still "punching the old time clock", any time away from the office counts against us, [SALARY]. A few weeks ago we needed a plumber to remove 2 gas stub outs from our baseboard since we were doing a modernization of our old house. Recently our kitchen faucet broke rather spectacularly. I decided to try and replace it myself. The installation looked simple, but sadly I did not anticipate the trouble removing the old unit would give me. After a lot of attempts, I finally gave up. I called another highly-rated small plumbing company, but unfortunately, they were short on manpower due to a variety of issues. The owner recommended I call Johnny because he was well respected. I am happy to report this was a good recommendation. Kevin came out and provided prompt, courteous, and efficient service. He noted that some previous installers had applied epoxy where they shouldn't, which was the cause of my difficulties. He had to saw the old faucet in half to remove it (40 minutes). Since it was broken, I did not mind. The new unit went in smoothly and works wonderfully. Kevin cleaned up after himself and took the junk parts. All was accomplished in one hour.
