My experience here was better than I expected…read more I came here because I needed to get my convertible roof top replaced since I recently bought a used convertible from their sister dealership in Austin called Austin Expo Cars. The top came with a torn roof and I had an agreement signed with them stating that they will replaced it with a brand new one after I bought the car. Sure enough, a few weeks later they shipped the new roof top to Uptown Imports and I was to directly coordinate with them from there on out. My main point of contact was Narius Irani, or also known as "Wally". I was apprehensive at first because I wasn't sure how well he would be able to get a hold of or how professional he would be. I had instances in the past where I would try calling other businesses three times, leave voice mails and text, and not get a reply back until a few days later (I opt not to mention who or where at this point). Wally was an exceptional person who answered all my calls and responded to voice mails promptly. He handled my (stressful) situation well by setting a solid date on when I could have the roof fixed and even scheduled for me to pick it up on a Sunday (closed). I was pleasantly surprised at the professionalism offered and would recommend contacting him for your next business. It may not seem like much, but when you have other people owing you parts and labor worth a lot of money and the only proof is a small piece of "I owe you" paper, the "unknown" factor scares you. I'm just glad I did not have to go through my company lawyer for this one! In the end, although I did not purchase a car from them, I had the pleasure of dealing with Uptown Imports. Just FYI, my roof was repaired by Joe Ram. He did a fantastic job on my convertible and put emphasis on quality. One of the straps that he was going to re-use was broken and I had it replaced at no cost. I believe others would have just re-used it.

I purchased a vehicle online from Uptown Imports after being assured by Angello that everything was…read morein good condition. However, upon receiving the car, I discovered multiple issues that were not disclosed prior to the sale. The audio system is defective, with severe distortion even at low volume. I specifically asked about the radio as it looked like it was post-factory installed. The vehicle came with only one key, which was in terrible condition (I'd rate it 7 out of 100). On top of that, the car was never detailed before it was shipped -- the interior was dirty, and the engine bay was filled with leaves and debris, which is shocking for a vehicle with only 38,000 miles. The doors had glue all over them as someone had taken them apart and tried to put them together. None of this was mentioned beforehand and the list can go on! I contacted Angello immediately to address these issues, but after multiple attempts, I've received no response except "I will forward your message to the director" I got a loan for the can and cannot register it in California because Uptown imports did not send the pink slip to the DMV or to the bank (as they are supposed to) Eventually they ended up sending it to me! (WHAT?) How are they in business of selling cars if they don't even know what to do with the pink slip?! This level of communication and customer service is completely unacceptable. If a business can't stand behind what it sells--or even respond after the sale--that speaks volumes. I've waited long enough for a resolution and am extremely disappointed in how this was handled. Buyers... beware!

My finance manager, Margaret, was also pleasant and well-informed. She explained the protection and maintenance plans clearly and concisely. I purchased a Jeep Grand Cherokee on a Friday afternoon around 4:30 pm and was able to retrieve the vehicle the next day after it was detailed and filled with gas. The experience was less-stressful and easier than any of my previous vehicle purchases with no pressure at all. Roger even gave me a Jeep Yeti cup, a Jeep keychain, and a rubber duck to start my collection. I highly recommend AutoNation, Roger, and Margaret for your next new vehicle purchase!

When we first arrived, I sat outside for nearly an hour and walked around the lot without being approached by a single salesperson. Eventually, I had to go inside myself to get assistance. The buying process itself wasn't terrible, but our salesperson, Omar, seemed very disengaged throughout the entire experience. He rarely spoke to us or made any effort to explain things. As someone who has worked in sales before, that is not what I would expect from someone trying to earn a customer's business. After completing the paperwork, we took the car home and thought everything was finished. A few days later, while both my boyfriend and I were at work, we started receiving nonstop calls from Omar and Muhammad. When I finally had a chance to answer, Omar told me, "If you and your boyfriend don't sign this right now, we're going to repossess the car."I was extremely confused. We were in the process of adding me as a co-signer, and as a 19-year-old first-time buyer, I had never gone through this process before and didn't fully understand what was happening. I told them I could sign immediately, but my boyfriend was eight hours away at work and could not.I was then told that if he did not sign within an hour, they would repossess the vehicle. Rather than calmly explaining the situation or working with us, we were met with threats and pressure. It felt as though Omar and Muhammad were more concerned about covering themselves and avoiding trouble than helping their customers. We worked very hard for this vehicle, and being threatened with repossession over paperwork that we were actively trying to complete was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. First-time buyers should be treated with patience and respect, not intimidation. If you're a first time buyer i suggest not going here!
