This place sucks. I've rented from them in the past when they were still Champion rentals and they…read morewere awesome, but they've been bought out by Herc rentals and they're a disaster now. I found a rental forklift on the Champion website, call to confirm the availability and the price, and drive down there to pick it up. They try to charge me way more than the posted and confirmed price and I raised a fuss with them. I wound up have to have it delivered which wasn't their fault as it wouldn't go up the ramps on my trailer. After receiving the final invoice, they had charged me for insurance which I didn't ask for and which wasn't even mentioned when I was at the counter and some misc BS fee. I called to complain again and the guy on the phone pulled up the invoice and couldn't even tell me what the misc charge was for and told me to call back Monday. I didn't follow up and decided to just never return and warn others not to rent from these idiots. You can tell they're in transition from one management team to another and it's not going well.

An hour and half later I received a phone call from the credit lady up stairs. She basically said our company and myself were all fabricated and she wanted proof of everything I said in which I gladly produced 'even my recent divorce decree she wanted" Now keep in mind this rental is for a corporation to whom I work for ! It went further. All theses documents bank records,divorce decree ,etc. was not good enough she then runs a unauthorized background check on me. Wow yes its turned personal at this point I have never been treated that way or had to defend myself and not sure why I entertained her ... I DID NOT THINK CHAMPION RENTAL WOULD HAVE SUCH EMPLOY PEOPLE TO HER NATURE. Needless to say we started the process over with a new and professional rental company and couldn't ask for better service, The process was painless and equipment delivered on time as promised.The following rental companies are who our company now and will forever use.
