I called ahead, and was told that they'd be open for another 15 minutes, made sure they had the whiskey that had been requested, and got in the car and rocketed on over. The store is small, with narrow aisles, but that's all so that they can be stocked from floor to ceiling with top-notch wines, spirits, and more. I got laughed at when I asked if they had wine coolers (yet another fun last-minute request), but told I could go next door to Beech Beverage for those. Oh - and as I was checking out, I also noticed that they have Lotto, so if you're feeling lucky you can run your numbers here as well. This is an extremely convenient and local-friendly spot. Their prices are a bit higher than you might find elsewhere, but you'll find good-quality and very helpful staff here, so well worth it.

The girl serving me, who would probably have to be 21+ years to sell me alcohol, has no problem ID-ing a fully bearded fellow like myself, while not ID-ing the younger, hoodie wearing person who was in line before me.
