2 of 3 garbage cans were covered and unavailable for use
    James G.

We ordered and paid ahead online. Got there shortly after noon and was told they were out of half the items we ordered and other items like onion rings and ice tea, were not on their menu despite being available when choosing their location and ordering online. Dinning room tables and floors are dirty, nobody came out while we dined to do any cleaning. If we had not ordered items that were on sale today, we would have been disappointed in the portion sizes... overpriced! 2 of the 3 trash cans were blocked off by management and the remaining can was overflowing. Parking lot is also filled with trash everywhere.

Gross food is nasty place is dirty food stays old the chicken was raw smushy use to be a great place but it went downhill worst Long John Sivers I been

Just bout a fish and shrimp platter and discovered a metal scrap in the fish. No customer service number to reach anyone about this matter. Extremely upset.

It's really embarrassing when you walk into a restaurant and the mood instantly changes from hungry and excited do DEPRESSION!! The employees are obviously depressed and have a very angry attitude....almost like they're working for free!!! The food is decent but the service is not the best....maybe the ownership needs to pay and appreciate their employees more....I'm sure they're making the money for it ^_^

What happened to the chicken and fish !!

Other last minute fried fish pick-ups at the usual Big Name Fast Food suspects, always seemed to disappoint.

Beware your car! They have painted and redesigned the inside and outside. They have a few tables inside but it looks like it transformed into more of a takeout place. We ate in cuz by the time we got home it be cold we wanted hot food. Ordered 4 piece fish with fries, hushpuppies and a drink. We split it. 2 pieces each. It was hot and as I remembered. Can't beat that crunch on the fish. Fries were not quite as crispy. But ok. I like the chips/fries they are thick and good with malt vinegar. Lots of people taking out after work. It's a popular stop. Much better than last time I was here. Doesn't smell like a fried fish when you leave. Much cleaner too. Good fish. Chicken as I recall is good too. Light batter and crunch. Not too fishy. Good stuff!

Flavorless lemon pie- literally lightly sort of just smelled like lemon but otherwise was super plain. The fish pieces were lukewarm and lacking in flavor and somewhat dry. The chicken was bad- like two nuggets from McDonald's but also dry. The drink cups are only like 10 or so ounces which is quite small.

Beautiful facility hosting many special events and serving their membership. We went to "Fasching"…read moreevent to celebrate Mardis Gras German style. Full bar offering authentic German brews as well as domestic beers. Food was available for purchase. I had the Jambalaya over rice, spicy Cajun sausage with peppers and Cajun sauce (no shellfish). Red beans & rice were spicy in a rich Creole sauce served over rice pilaf. My partner had the Cajun Schnitzel sandwich. Traditional Schnitzel with a low country flare. Lots of entertainment all night. Circus acts, balloons and beads, of course. Music and skits. All a really fun family event.

We enjoyed the various music and all had a good time, but one thing spoiled the fun. As a group who enjoys "good" beer, we always make a point of ordering whatever the German beer is on tap. Well holy leader-hosen, this year the Pitchers were $25.00 bucks. We were together until closing and Saturday was hot, so we probably went through 6 or 7 pitchers. At various times throughout our visit we would heard comments about the beer being over-priced. We heard even more comments about beer prices when standing in line. I must say no one DIS-agreed. While the food has to be prepared, set out, and served, beer just needs to be poured. No one minds paying more for a beer when they go out and we expect it, but we just felt $25 for a pitcher of beer was a bit of a ripoff. The domestic beer (LaBatts Light, really ?), wasn't much cheaper at $22 bucks a pitcher. Sorry, but our group agreed we probably won't be back next year.

We usually go to the fish fry a few times a year during lent and have never been disappointed. The fish dinner I usually get is 2 large thick pieces of crunchy, panko breaded cod with potato, coleslaw & rye bread. The fries are great! Fresh cut and yummy, redskins are great too. The pierogies are good, but deep fried. I would rather have sauteed. Have also had the salad, chowder and hush puppies. You can also get baked cod and it is good as well. I feel that $10.50 is a reasonable price for the quality of the food. Kid's meals are available. The dining room is very small and they have a full bar. Tip: Dining room is usually on the cooler side, so dress warm. Here is the full lent menu: Starters Garden Side Salad - freshly chopped romaine lettuce accompanied with cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots, shredded cheese, and croutons served with your choice of dressing $3.00 Hush Puppies - served with honey butter $5.00 Onion Rings - served with a chipotle ranch dipping sauce $4.00 New England Clam Chowder - served with oyster crackers $3.00 Potato and Cheese Pierogies - five potato and cheese filled pierogies topped with caramelized onions and a side of sour cream. $6.00 Entrees Fish Dinner - Two pieces of cod, fried or baked, served with your choice of potato (fresh cut French fries, house cut potato chips, or roasted redskin potatoes), coleslaw, and rye bread $10.50 Additional piece of fish $3.00 Fish Sandwich - One piece of cod baked or fried topped with tartar sauce, lettuce, and tomato served with fresh cut French fries $8.00 Chicken Tender Wrap - Choose from ranch or Buffalo style. Wrap is topped with romaine lettuce, diced tomato, and shredded cheddar cheese. Wrap is served with French Fries $8.00 Rocky River Burger - 1/3 pound hamburger topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, and a fried egg served with fresh cut French fries $8.00 Grilled Cheese Sandwich - American and provolone cheese between your choice of white or wheat bread, and served with fresh cut French fries $6.00
