Pros: despite the line of four ahead of me, my order was taken within 8 min and my food was out in 3 min after that. Very fast. Parking lot next to building Cons: mediocre food. Flavorless lemon pie- literally lightly sort of just smelled like lemon but otherwise was super plain. The fish pieces were lukewarm and lacking in flavor and somewhat dry. The chicken was bad- like two nuggets from McDonald's but also dry. The drink cups are only like 10 or so ounces which is quite small.

I have not been here in a very long time. No wait when we went and it looked very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our order was cooked at that moment and it did not take long. Others came after and they were getting orders out quickly. The food was as good as I remember. I will definitely be back

It has been seven years since I visited this restaurant known as Arthur Treacher's. While I don't think it is the same as the original Arthur Treacher's, I believe it is close. And it is close enough that it makes me want to visit again. On this visit, I requested two fish, two chicken, fries, hush puppies, and a Mountain Dew. I dined in. It took less than 10 minutes to fry up my meal. The fish was hot and delicious. They claim it is wild caught haddock from Alaska. It definitely has a good flavor and the breading is crunchy and yummy. The chicken was excellent. I love dipping the chicken in cocktail sauce. I crave that flavor and texture. The hush puppies were smaller than I remembered, but I felt like they were just the right size. And they had the same flavor that reminded me of my childhood. I'll be back, hopefully, before seven years.

Three piece Fish, Fries, and Hushpupies. $11.xx. Tasted like Frozen Food which it almost certainly was. :(

Yeah, this is definitely a nostalgic choice but not as good as the "memories". The good was the service was fast, friendly, and efficient! Also good was the food was served piping hot! The bad, nothing tasted fresh. It all just seemed like frozen food you could get at the local grocery store. Just Meh. Three stars for the staff. Two stars for the less than stellar food.

Large Fish and Chips with extra order of Hushpuppies. Always Fantastic!

This was the last remaining Arthur Treacher's in NE Ohio until just recently opened their second location in Garfield Heights. The food is always awesome and just as delicious as you remembered from back in the day. The service is fast and friendly. And they always have plenty of cocktail sauce and tartar sauce on hand, I love their Cocktail Sauce, it's the best. They always have different specials running, make plans to stop in soon and support this awesome establishment.

I took this picture after I ate some. Chicken and chips

It's been years!! No drive through you have to go in. Not as good as it used to be years ago but pretty close. I got the chicken, fish, chips and hush puppies. People behind the counter are so very nice. Makes you want to come back.

It's the closest thing I could find to LongJohn Silvers and the chips are better than French fries from LongJohn Silver.

Outstanding choice for dining in Cleveland. If you are looking for a quintessential Cleveland…read moreexperience, this is it. The Rowley Inn is located in a nice neighborhood (Tremont) across the street from the Christmas Story house. I had three meals there. The first, loaded pierogis, was the ultimate comfort dish. Pierogis with potato centers were covered in diced kielbasa, bacon (yes, bacon), and covered in cheddar cheese. Ahhhhh. The others at my table raved about the kielbasa and pierogi dish. They also liked the beer selection. How do you know you have a great find? You think about the meal long after it is consumed. Next meal- breakfast. I had the kielbasa and pierogi omelet. Need I say more? Finally, we came back a third time and I ordered the burger. No burger place (save Chuckbox in Tempe, AZ) can match the Rowley burger. The burger is actually seasoned and cooked to order. I had it medium rare. Sheer perfection. Typing this review makes me sad because I live far away from Cleveland. If you are in The Land, you must drop everything you are doing to get to the Rowley Inn. It is a 8 minute drive from downtown.

I had a damn decent time at the Rowley Inn! Visiting Cleveland from San Antonio for some…read morepresidential history, but when I saw this joint had been on Guy Fieri's "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives"... I definitely aimed to visit. I mean, plus... There's a pretty famous house across the street. I waited a few moments longer than I would have liked for the hostess to seat me, ultimately choosing a two top behind a pillar toward the back. This may have been a mistake... As service waned throughout my meal. The bacon wrapped tots are a MUST TRY. Fantastic! The steak frites was also very good. I've been to nice steak joints that don't know how to cook a steak medium that consistently throughout. My initial water glass was cracked, and a decent chip in the top almost cut my lip. I brought it to the servers attention and she replaced it. And, I also ordered an Arnold Palmer, which never came. Had it not been for those oversights, it may have been a five star review, which is a definite rarity for me when I've tried "Triple-D" locations. Usually I leave disappointed. Y'all, it's an old school bar vibe. Divey. Loved it! Very cool ambiance. So glad I went. It may have been a little loud, honestly...but it is a bar...and I'm getting old! Hahaha!

We haven't seen these friends in a bit so we were kinda eating and lounging and talking. We ordered the original corn beef to split the regular size and we got the homade potato and cole slaw. Our guests got the corn beef as well and potato pancakes as their side. One liked the potato pancakes and one did not. They are mash potato consistency not shredded. I tasted they were ok to me. The potato salad and cole slaw were both good. Better choice. The corn beef actually looked smaller than usual. It was good but I thought it had been larger in the past. Maybe not anymore. Service was good. Food came out on time. This is a good place to go. Prices are a bit high but it's a deli. You can do what we did and split the sandwich. It enough food. Bar is nice. The patio is nice too. It's a good space and they even have a party room if you want to rent it out. Slymans is an institution. We will be back at some point again.
