Service staff mostly communicate through grunts. Portion sizes for the chicken filets was abysmal. Corporate should be ashamed of itself for sending out nugget-sized portions and labeling them as "fillets" But wait. There's more. Place is filthy. Since we saw the LOBSTER bites commercial we have been determined to TRY! Today after a long shift we finally swung by LJS and tried. Cooked on the spot , waited about 6-8 mins .. no big deal .. Bag presentation was bad. My bites were dumped in bottom of bag / Oh well!! Couldn't help myself .. I tried one in the car OTW home!!! OMG they were delicious!! Hot,juicy great breading.. very tasty. 3.99 for 8 bites ... Over priced I know it's lobster though. Combo was 7.99 Overall, my tummy was satisfied and I will be back before they go away !!! This restaurant is a JOKE! It is Long John/Taco Bell. Went through drive through at 1130 and was told that Long John Silvers food was not ready. Went back at 8:30 the same night and was told they weren't cooking Long John anymore tonight. I hope management is reading these reviews. Ridiculous! read more

Ever since they've been under new management, this establishment is just the worst. I don't expect much from fast food but the new manager is horrible. We're always missing food and after calling they assured us they would correct it next time. Next time comes and they refused to give us our sides that were missing. Had to fight over French fries and fish. Seriously? We paid for the food and they fought us for giving back what they never gave us. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't bother coming here. When they get your order wrong (not if, it's when), they won't refund you or give your food you paid for. read more

I have to say this location needs help. Went in with a friend to eat ordered our food and waited over an hour for our food. Yes over one hour! There were lots of employees doing nothing and drive through got their food before us eating inside. First they had no fries but they didn't tell us until we saw others not getting fries after an hour of waiting then we got our food 1 hour 10 minutes later then they gave us fries but then had no hush puppies. They said they had none. So their remedy was to give two coupons for one taco or one soft drink on our next visit for Taco Bell. We came for fish not tacos. We asked for a refund once we reached the hour mark and they gave us these two coupons. I went up again asked for a refund they promised a refund then finally got our food 1 hour 10 minutes later. SMH ‍ so I finally got a refund after asking for the second time. We watched people after people getting refunded their money and then they started telling people there would be at least a 45 minute wait. I feel bad for this franchisee owner because you have a ton of staff in there and that same staff doesn't know what they're doing. I did see one staff member a man telling the others to get it together because they're losing sales and gotten so far behind. If the owner reads this I live in Amelia my friend was from Louisa she only came to cut my grass and afterwards we came to FarmVille just to come here. Someone needs to come in and train the staff on how to drop enough food for all the orders. You lost so much money yesterday evening. read more

I was out Christmas shopping with family members a few nights ago. We decided to stop for dinner otw home and eat on the go in the car as we traveled. My family ordered Taco Bell from this dual restaurant. I ordered L.J.S.- MY MISTAKE!! My fish and chicken were overcooked, oily and so chewy and tough it was unbearable to try to eat. Idk what happened, but it was gross and nothing like I've ever had there before at any LJS. read more

Recently ate at LJS. I ordered an L6 and my husband ordered from the Taco Bell menu. When the order was up, they had given me an L11. How do you get L11 from L6?? They don't even sound the same! They did make it right but i don't think I'll eat there again. read more

First off the restaurant is combined with a Taco Bell and it's not one of those LJS/A&W's combinations so since they're combined they might not have the same menu variety. My review is 99% based off a great employee. I was in town to do a few projects for one of my jobs and decided to stop here for lunch in between projects since we haven't had a LJS since late 2011 or early 2012. When I first walked in I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. From what I saw of it the bathroom appeared to be clean and brightly lit. After I washed my hands I went to order and like any other combination restaurant you can order from either menu but I don't think you can mix sides like I've seen at a LJS that's combined with a KFC. Regardless of what you can and can't order the cashier, Betty was BY FAR THE FRIENDLIEST employee in any Long John Silver's and/or Taco Bell I've ever dealt with!! As she handed me my receipt I think she said something like enjoy my meal (it's been almost twelve hours ago now so I don't remember exactly what she said). There was only a few customers in the restaurant so I guess that's why it didn't take long to get my order. When the female employee called customers' names and saw them pick up their order she told them to have a good day. Then when I was eating Betty was walking around the dining room I guess wiping down tables and asked customers including myself if they were doing okay. The only other fast food restaurant I've seen that at is Chick-fil-a. The food was good. Not great like it seemed like it was when I was a kid and at this location you only get one side but it did make the meal cheaper and the combo I got included a 20 oz. fountain drink. Whereas a similar combo I get at another location does not include a drink but does do two sides. I don't come through Farmville often but if you go here and you see Betty you are getting a top notch employee helping you!! read more
