Very Disappointing Customer Experience I don't understand why anyone would deliberately refuse to honor discounts, promotional codes, and other offers available through the Long John Silver's app. When a restaurant has some of the highest prices around for its products, refusing legitimate promotions essentially sends customers the message: "Pay our exorbitant prices or go somewhere else." That is especially disappointing in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, an area that already faces significant economic challenges. You would think a local franchise would want to attract customers, build goodwill, and improve its business practices--not turn customers away over discounts and promotions offered through its own app. I also have to question how this can happen at a franchise location. If these promotions are being offered through the corporate app, why is a franchise allowed to simply refuse to honor them? Something definitely isn't right with the way this Poplar Bluff location is being operated. If this is how customers are going to be treated, then I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. Went here on Sunday food and service was amazing so happy to see its back to where it used to be years ago.

Very swift service and food was delivered to table. Fish was hot and very tasty. Root beer (in the cold glass mug) was delicious!

This place deserves ZERO stars after what we experienced today! It was another day, and we went through the drive-thru at a Long John Silver. To begin the lady taking our order couldn't get it right. First, was my green beans. Then, the other order she read back the cheese curds but only put fries on the receipt. We corrected her with three regular Pepsi sodas. On the receipt that showed the diet rang up! Lol To add insult to the experience my daughter says, "Mom, why is there slaw in my rice bowl?" I thought oh no, I wouldn't have thought they would have that in there. I went back in and waited while the front cashier took an order. By the time I was just walking out, after meeting open of the worst management personnel I think I have ever met..... My daughter walked in to see what was going on and to grab the silverware they hadn't put in our drive-thru bag! Oh my!!! The Manager's name was Laurie, and I definitely would not recommend this place at all just based off of there service! No one should deal with that for $36. read more

Ordered the $29 family fish dinner through the drive through, specifically asked for malt vinegar packets twice, got home and had tartar sauce, not vinegar! Called to speak with management and yhe young woman could not have been less caring, never said sorry, just kept saying OK and acting like I was bothering her. We ordered the family platter I tried the fish the batter was very salty, I think their oil was to hot cause the outside was done but the inside was still mushy with a layer of liquid. My husband and I drop in last night to eat dinner before going home from our evening shopping. it wasn't very busy. it was about 9 PM when we ordered. got our food within 12 or 15 minutes. there was 3 other groups plus ours eating in the dining area and more was coming though the door. I went back up to the bar to get more ketchup at 20 after 9 and they pulled the ketchup up and took it to the back. they closed it were you couldn't get more tarter sauce or ketchup. I went to the counter and asked when they closed and the lady said 10 PM. I ask for more ketchup and so she had the cook give me his bottle he use in the back. I don't think it was right pulling the condiments 40 minutes before they closed. its not good letting a customer use what the cook use because you don't know what could happen to it. I think about these crazy things because there so much bad going on in this world. I don't know but from my view that's not very sanitary. I thought they would of handed me packages instead but no. had one table that was loud and some fowl language even when they had a kid with them. I rarely go here but figured I'd give it another chance. The tables were all dirty and sticky. They had no non-soda options, not even water. I got a Pepsi which turned out to be diet, so I tried the diet which was also diet. I ordered the buttered cod special. It was bad even for fast food fish, I didn't finish it. I spent 27 dollars on my family and I deeply regret it. I would've asked for a refund but didn't feel like dealing with it. read more
