It's been a while since I seen a Long John Silver's to a point I felt like this was a Mandella Effect targeted at me. So I figured to give it a go. To our surprise, it was way better than the history books would ever say about it. Now, it wasn't great, but it satisfied our hungers. To top that off, the meal prices are actually far more reasonable for the LJS side than the KFC side of the same store. Like watching a before & after sign of the economy collapse. The dudes behind the counter still was pretty chill, too. Busted open a fresh sauce box to get me good cocktail sauce. Props to them. read more

Horrible service, dried out fish, will never go there again! The food has sat for hours under the lamp.

Food is expensive, but it's good. Service wasn't that great. Didn't get the one item I asked for twice. At the drive thru there is a big sign for the employees telling them they only get one soda cup per shift and then they have to pay for it. What does it cost for a soda cup? 4 cents? Pretty embarrassing sign from management. No wonder the staff doesn't seem happy. Place itself is small but looked clean. read more

This location lacks brain cells unfortunately. Ordered some crispy KFC, was told to wait in the parking lot. Normal so far. Watched countless people enter the drive through, receive their food and leave. Meh, happens sometimes. Watched a few people park next to me, receive their food, and leave. Okay, what's the deal? I stop the lady and ask her if my food is ready. She tells me that they are out of crispy chicken and that other people were ordering food that they had available.. unfortunately I don't see potential in that young lady. She was failed long ago, and management has failed their employees. Just tell me that you don't have crispy chicken from the get go or shortly after you realize it. I'm not hard to work with. 7:00 pm Friday, went in was surprised how clean it was indoors and how the employees take the extra step to keep it clean. The employees were very nice and helpful. Food was between having KFC and having a fried fish side I was happy with it. read more

The service was awful. We were first time customers, and the front desk clerk was rude and condescending. We're still looking at the menu and the clerk yells "is it for here or to go?" We tell here we are sill looking at the menu, then she storms off saying to order when we're ready in the most annoyed voice possible. She comes back a minute later when we're barely making our minds and we start ordering, but we had questions. She responds in the most snarky way possible to us like we are supposed to know how the menu works. At this point we are fed up. Point out how she is treating us and leave. read more

Long Johns gets such a bad rap but sometimes that super crunchy batter really does hit the spot. I do enjoy dousing that fish in their vinegar and following up with their coleslaw and hush puppies. First issue, it's Long John's Silver's,a fish fast food service but in this case without any Fish. How can you NOT have any fish???? Then there were no hush puppies, what, no hush puppies, come on it's Long John's Silver's! All they had, since I do not eat chicken (KFC) was coleslaw, ok that was good. Now for my wife's meal, still no fish so she ordered the two piece chicken. It came with one and a half pieces of chicken, how's that possible you ask? The chicken leg appeared to have been half eaten already. Sorry I should have taken a photo, I have never seen a half eaten chicken leg served to a customer before. Next: the trash cans were over flowing, the floors were sticky and not a clean table in the store and it was generally filthy. I went to the restroom, what a mistake. It reminded me of an outhouse. Ewww. I wish I could say something good other than the coleslaw was good , but that's the best I can do. We don't have Long John silvers in Aurora Colorado anymore so we where up on 136th I was excited to see a Long John Silver so my family an I went to eat there that was a big disgrace the fries where over cooked they messed up our order the cashier was very rude the food was disgusting they had no tarter sauce the kids meals where stupid food was gross never will go back to that one ever again I was very disappointed read more

My husband went through this evening around 4:00 pm he got home I opened the bag they forgot the coleslaw and our fish was nasty oily cold and hard! This girl refuses to give me an area managers number so I ask her name she proceeds to tell me why don't I go back and find out who she is! Now even more livid and tell her I'll be right there. I hang up and call back another "manager" named Beatriz tells me that there food can't be bad it was under a heat lamp and this is such bullshit! Heard about they are having free fish and chips today for the companies 45th anniversary. Fish was tender on the inside and crisp and crunchy on the outside. Fries were hot and fresh. Amazing how you say free food and the whole place is packed full. read more

My receipt says Jeffery helped me. He greeted me promptly and took my order correctly. He also threw three free cookies onto my tray without explanation--though one shrimp was tardy in arriving. Perhaps it was to compensate for that. It was a nice gesture and certainly unexpected. The hushpuppies were undercooked and I got a container of cocktail sauce that must have been stored improperly, as it had a nice layer of water on top. I threw it out and didn't bother asking for another one. The bottles of malt vinegar were sitting in the open without a cap on the top, which doesn't seem to align itself very well with food safety guidelines. This was my first visit to a KFC/LJS combo and I can't say its the best set of chains to pair. They cross-pollinate their offerings meaning you don't get the distinctive tastes that go with each restaurant. In this case, the slaw on offer was the KFC version. It also seemed like the menu was limited for both LJS and KFC. read more

They refused to honor coupon, then I was lied to by the manager. I had a valid coupon for a 2 pc. Chicken Basket which included a side and 2 hushpuppies for $2.99. When I placed my order, I was charged $4.33. I asked about the $2.99 coupon price, they said the coupon wasn't in their system and thus could not honor it. I drove away angry, later I called the restaurant to talk to a Manager. He told me the 2 pc. Chicken Basket meal was not on their menu. THAT IS A LIE! If it wasn't on the menu, why were they about to charge me $4.33?! I will not be going back there any time soon. read more

Wow. This place is a little run down and dirty for being so new. Floor is filthy, not a clean table in the place with no customers and three workers, and the fabric on almost every seat is torn. Good was greasy but tasty if you like deep fried food. Shrimp was tender and light breaded. read more

I've always picked up my food drive-through & I have never had a problem, the employees have always been nice & my food has always been correct. Today(1/31/17) I had a wonderful experience and wanted to make a shout out to Nick, working the drive-through window. From the beginning he was patient while I struggled through an order for 4 people, he greeted me immediately at the window with a big smile, helped me complete my order with condiments, napkins, etc. (I always forget to ask for ranch so I really appreciate him asking if I needed any.) He mentioned that the receipt was at the bottom of the bag with a survey as he handed me a large bag of still piping hot food, exactly as I had ordered. I appreciate the customer service! read more

This is the best LJS I've ever been to! The food is hot & fresh & ready quickly. The restaurant is actually clean, which sadly, is unusual for LJS. It's a LJS/KFC combo so there are lots of options. I love getting mashed potatoes with my LJS chicken & hushpuppies. read more

Went to LJS at 250 West 136st in Westminster CO. Had a coupon for a sampler platter. When I asked what was in the sampler platter, no one in the store knew what a sampler platter was. This supposedly, is not a new item as I remember getting this coupon before. Why doesn't anybody know what it is? Went to the LJS web site to contact them with my comments. I had to know the store number which was on the receipt I did not get because I could not buy what I went there to purchase. Searched the web site for the store number. Entered the store number in the spot provided. Got an error message back saying that was not a valid store number. If the number on the web site is an invalid number, where would someone go to get the store number. Too frustrating. Will not return. read more

Great place. Clean and always have new addition taste on Menu. . Been there many time. Out of 10 times I been there, they only make one mistake but they will fix it as best as they can. Long John silver is in the menu. Love the Talpia combo even I have to wait for 10 minutes for fresh one to cook, its worth it!! if they busy, you need to wait longer to a fresh one. Salmon is ok because the try to cook it prior ordering so sometime its dry but if u like vineger, its godo on it. Everytime I go here they are so nice, they suggest things for me. Ive ordered a meal and they suggested I get another meal because it would be cheaper and the same thing. They always put butter and honey in my bag without even asking. THE BEST FAST FOOD EXPERIENCE honestly. Especial comparing to the one on 120th that one is horrible. read more

My wife and I ate at this restaurant last Friday evening. The food tasted like the oil has never been changed in the fryer. All the food was extremely greasy and tasted the same. Not one of my family or friends who have eaten there will ever go back and some warned me about it but I didn't listen. Evidently we are not the only ones who feel that way because there were less than 6 people in the restaurant at 6:30 PM on a Friday and this included my wife and I. Even though there were very few customers, the staff still didn't clean the crumbs off of the tables, pick up the paper on the floor or clean the spilled ketchup off of the condiment counter.
