Had a great time at Long Live Paintball! My kids and I went with two of their friends. What I really liked was that they divided us up by experience. We had never played before, so they put us in with other beginners. This was great because we didn't need to worry about getting shot by the really good players who come with their own gear. the prices were reasonable and the refs kept everything fair and safe. Just played here with a few friends in open 2 weeks ago. I came here because of the groupon deal which turned out not to be a deal at all. First, if you use groupon, you are going to be charged 100$/case instead of 60, the normal price. Regular admission is only 25 dollars so you will ended up saving more money by doing regular admission. Of course, they don't tell you that on Groupon and the fine prints. They will tell you once you get there. Also, there is an extra 3 dollars charge for the 200 rounds of paintball that is part of the package. Which increase the cost even more. The only reason why they are on Groupon is probably for advertisement which when you get there is a bait and switch. Second, the "free" paintballs that you get as part of the groupon deal are used paintball that they harvest from the speed ball field from the bounces. Third, you will probably wait 20-25 minutes after every game. Overall, I'd say I definitely had been to much better places in MA and CT. The choice of going there is yours. I want you to make an inform decision before you do that. read more

I went there on 4/20 and I had a great time! Let me break it down: I bought a Groupon and called to see if they would take us. They said that we had to make a reservation but they would take our reservation the day of. VERY nice of them. I'm from the NYC but getting there was quick and easy. GPS helps. There is a guy there named Rooster who I believe is the owner. REALLY cool guy, very friendly and VERY helpful. My gun kept getting clogged and they had no issues when I asked them a bunch of time to clean my barrel. There are other reviews here about the kids who work there. Yes they are young and definitely unprofessional but they do their jobs. At any paintball place, keeping your mask on in designated locations is very important. That being said, there was an instance where a guy took his mask off where he WASN'T supposed to and he was ejected from playing for the whole day (that's the rule). The guy was practically begging for leeway but the kids wouldn't let it happen. I can't imagine any adult wanting to do what those kids do for a job. It's a job meant for teens, come on now.. It was Easter and they were obviously understaffed, understandable, but I still had a lot of fun. I can image how much more fun it would have been if there were more staff. I'm sure game rotations would have been a lot quicker. Don't hold that against them. The prices are good and they have everything you would want to rent (camo suit, tactical vest, food, drinks etc) I played a game where someone threw in a smoke bomb which was very cool. LASTLY BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY! I forgot to pick up my license at the desk before I left. I live in NY and when I realized I left it I was 40 minutes out. Rooster had already called and left a message. I spoke to him and he said he would mail it to my location. Getting something you forgot in another state is not supposed to be that easy! Thank you so much! Overall, GO HERE! read more

Got a Groupon deal for $22 per person. Went with 3 other buddies. We were initially apprehensive about playing as there were a couple large groups of what seemed to be professional paintballers fully outfitted with personal jerseys and customized guns. At that point we thought we had just paid to be someone else's target practice. Luckily, we soon realized that we were meant to play pick up games with other "walk-ons". Some were very skilled while others were just as much newbs as we were. People of all ages play here, from kids barely big enough to hold a paintball gun to guys in their 40s and 50s. A fun time was had by all. My first gun would always jam up so I got a new one that worked perfectly, no hassle. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, even ref'd a couple of free for all deathmatches between my friends and I. This place is a ton of fun and I would definitely come back. read more

Great place. I walked in solo and after a slow start trying to find where to place me, i ran non stop till they closed. Played with many different people and all the people (regs and noobs) were all very cool and fun. The staff was about as helpful as they could be. The asset to this place, and what makes it shine above the others is the staff. Shaun and Robert particularly stand out as super customer service oriented individuals. We went the Saturday after Christmas, a day they didn't expect to be nearly sixty degrees and crowded. Because much of the staff had been given the day off, these two men had to work extra hard, and their efforts paid off. I didn't notice a shortness of staff at all, and hours after I had paid, Shaun still referred to me by my name when he saw me, and Robert sought me out to ask if my boys were having fun. The reason we went is because we purchased the Groupon deal. We did still have to pay for coveralls, tax, and a box of additional paintballs (my choice to purchase), so the entire day for two teenage boys ended up costing around $100, but they were not kicked off after a certain time limit, and if they hadn't been worn down by their fierce battles, they could've stayed and played all day. We will definitely return, not because of the cost, or because the place is any better than other paintball establishments,(it's a little farther from my home than another establishment) but because the workers were courteous, considerate, and really care about their customers. read more

I've been playing here since I moved from AZ to NJ and I can't recommend this field enough! The owner is awesome, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and everyone wants you to have a good time. Lots of fields for every style of play and skill level. Love this place. I travel with my paintball gear and have played recreationally all over North America and Europe. This is one of my favorite fields. The ownership/staff/reps are extremely nice and professional. Really fun fields including a large woodsball field with streams and lots of great natural bunkers and obstacles. A good variety of walk-on players that are split into two groups based on skill level / gear. The onsite store is also well stocked and has a nice selection of markers, masks and other gear. My first visit there will definitely be my last. Horrible ref's never left the sidelines and never checked hits. No chronograph. Half the fields where closed. The day started out fine, I brought my own gear and my father and brother rented theirs. After that we waited until a field became available, which took about ten minutes. The first game was fine, the players on the other team called there hits and where similarly skilled to the team i was on. The second or third game, I can't remember which, Was the worst game I have ever played. We where issued one ref for 50 people (25 on each side) and he just stood on the sideline the entire time. I shot this person about 3 times and they would not call the hit, so i bunkered them and told them to surrender, The player panicked and lifted up their mask and told me not to shoot. So i started to go for some cover and the play i surrendered Shot me six times in the back from around 5 feet away. Then That players team mate shot me six times in the chest from point blank, then had the nerve to ask the play i surrendered if they where alright, and the ref just stood there and said nothing. The day just when downhill after that. Every game half the players where shooting above fps limit's, Not calling their hits, Wiping. Overall just a really bad experience and i will not be going back. read more

Brought five 13 yo girls to Long Live Paintball. The refs were awesome! First priority was always safety, then fun. The girls had a great time, and were paired against other teams who were on the same experience level. I am planning my second party for my son at Long Live Paintball, we had so much fun the first time. The owner Tom is very accommodating and has helped me through the process both times. We have a mixed group of adults and kids and the referee was wonderful at teaching us the ropes and guiding us through the day. All of the shooting areas are great and there is plenty of room and terrain to choose from. It is a great way to spend the day, even a mom can have a blast! read more

The games were fun, just be aware their price is not what they tell you on the website, and it not what you ask through the phone.If it is possible, just do not go their, the negotiation is not fun and you do not want to do that if you have all the team member waiting. If you have a big group just don't go their, basically they try to rise price for everything for everyone. When I talk them through phone they said that for private party we can have a promo package for 300 free paints each person, vest, belt, suit, gun, etc for 30 dollars. It turns out that they try to raise it to 50, then I negotiate them, so that we get a price like 40, which is not what we prepared. Also, when I ask them if we can buy ONE membership, and buy the each case of paint 60 each case for the whole team, they said "yes" (that is word for word, I do not just add up some words, like "whole team".) . When we get there, I have ask for same thing, they still said "yes". After I have purchased the membership for one year, and try to buy paint, they said "no", and have to sale us 90 for case, which I have bought the membership for nothing. Because everyone is there, we can not said we do not want to play in your place. (we have like 23 people, I am not going to move all the people to other place plus I have make a reservation). I have to talk to their boss again about paintball price. After he exhausting me, they said they will make it 70 for a case, I have to accepted the deal, which I was mad that they does something like. (in the game, that is fun for whole team, because I did not tell members what happen when I check in.) Before the we try to get out of there, I need get my ID back. They stop us said that we stole their 5 ammo suits, I was surprised because I am hold the return checking list signs by them. The list has check we have return all the ammo suit. It took us 30 minutes to recall all of our members to state that we did not stole anything. (When I was hold the list, I was thinking to call the police.) We all from New York, and we have to drive like hour and half to get there. If you ask if I want to come back, I will said "no, no, I rather drive 1 more hour to the paintball in P.A" please forgive my grammar. read more

beware GroupOn costumers: this place was spotted picking used paintballs off the ground, and sells them back to you at $10-20 for 120 balls. if you use groupon, they charge $90/2000 balls. others told us they paid almost half. Safety: -poor netting, no orientation, lack of reffing (they are too young/paid too little to care) -paintballs fly into the parking lot. -they do not check tank dates(tanks can explode if they are expired) -do not Chrono or check Guns (regulate velocity of the balls) (all over fields visited do the above) - do not check people shooting above legal FPS (velocity of paintball). For Children: - this place isn't ideal for children due to the amount of cursing & smoking, locker room talk and safety hazards. to fellow parents, this isn't the best place to leave your kids unattended. Racism: on more than one occasions racist remarks were made by both staff/player/ref. we do not have to repeat it, but it was very unnecessary & disgusted and actually warranted the review. one ref said it happens often. 4. Pro Shop: the pro shop has some pleasant employees yes, but it is run by some unpleasant people. staff member and owner was making inappropriate & racist remarks to another costumer that were completely unnecessary and immature. one woman walked out with her child saying "what is this, run by a bunch of wanna be gangster tough guys? it's just paintball." the constant push-sales were almost desperate and a bit sneaky. we understand it is a business but there are ethics. every other field we went to were consistently opposite from everything stated above. this place seems better for "pro players". costumers&parents have the right to know especially for such an expensive activity. more than golf ha hope this helps. take care have fun read more

I've never played paintball before so as a first time player with 2 kids it was the best experience I've ever had! They had all the equipment I needed (jumpsuit, vest, guns, ammo pack) As soon as we got everything the ref came over and explained all the rules and how to play he then helped us load up and make sure we were set and ready for battle. The wait time, Less then 5 minutes. We played 2-3 games at a time then went back for a 5-10 minute break, Prices were great, (cheap) compared to other places i've looked at. Improvements I had a few problems with my gun while on the playing field. It really wasn't an issue due to the fact the ref brought me different gun (worked correctly) Some fields were big, other's were smaller. They also had a woods field but my kids and I weren't a big fan of it. As far as the other fields go, they should cut the grass. It's a little too high. Other then that, they were awesome! read more

Great facility! Sent a group of 11-year-olds out for a birthday party and they returned home exhausted and happy. Did I mention they were staying overnight with us, so the "exhausted" part was MY favorite part. They loved the instructor, the facility, the gear. All in all a terrific experience. 11/23/2012 Very professional staff, great rates, fun fields, good for groups. First time here with a group of 19 guys for a company outing. We played in a private group and had a great ref sorry i 4got his name throughout the whole day. Staff is friendly and very professional. There's about 5 or more fields, all outdoors. A bunch of picnic tables for you to place your belongings. There are snacks and drinks for sale fairly priced. Balls are well-priced, and top brands too at $20 per 500, or $55 for 2,000. Bathrooms are porta-potties. Overall, great for groups (call in to set up rates). I suggest a private field if you have a large party. People are friendly, accommodating, and overall, it will be a pleasant experience. Definitely coming back sometime! read more

This is a relatively new field on the scene, and it has been steadily improving since it opened at its new location in 2012. The staff and management are friendly, helpful, and on top of things. They keep the games moving quickly, and the safety is very good. There are only six fields, but they are quite diverse, ranging from woods to airball to a town setup. The staging area is very nice, plenty of tables, and under a large canopy for shade. To top it off, the price is on the low end of things at just $25 for entry with your own gear, or $45 to rent, and $60 for a case of paintball (2000 ct). Overall, it's a good place that's steadily improving. read more

This place is a scam. Do not use your groupons here and do not use their coupons. One of the stipulation for using groupon or coupon is that you have to buy their paint which consists of recycled paintball from their speedball field. they rebottle with dirt and paint all most of the balls, the worst part is that it cost 65-80$ for the paint. read more

Stay away , extremely rude staff!!!. Bad reviews and experiences are generally not due to the organization but due to people working for them. In our case, we found the most obnoxious person working as the general manager there. Whether he was having a bad day and he decided to take it out on his customers. I still don't know. We had reached there after a long drive, a group of friends who were waiting at the registration waiting to sign in. As with any group of friends, we were a little boisterous, cracking jokes and waiting around till we get to the field. The manager in a very insulting tone shouts at us to wait outside as he feels we are loud. He felt one of my friends didn't comply with his instructions as fast as he wanted and decides not to let enter the field and tells us to leave. I tried to reason with him and told him that he was being rude to start with. However, we do apologize if he feels we were not listening to him. He then goes ahead threatens us he will escort us out.He may have fed his ego. However the damage people like him to do the business is huge. I would never recommend this place to any of my friends and would make sure to discourage all my friends from going to this place. read more

Pretty upset with my experience at Long Live Paintball. Service/refs/woodsball/staging/price fields were great (5 stars). However, for anyone who knows anything about paintball must know there paint is absolute TRASH. The paint they gave out on 11/29 was a joke. Every ball had dents, pretty greasy and were chopping like no other - ruined the day cus I couldn't shoot straight. I had more chops in one game then I did ever using my marker. I clean my gun after every use which I play about twice a month and shoot about a case each session (Mini GS - less than 20,000 balls shot). My buddy who rented one of their electronic guns was experiencing unbelievable amounts of chops as well so it was not my marker, it was the paint. 2 stars for quality of paint and it taking them half a day to fill the air all field because the refs were simply too lazy and kept saying "oh yeah we will later in the day" . so while the refs were homies and knew what they were doing - they could have took 10 minutes to fill the field. I came to long live for speedball and made that clear from the beginning. Advice to management: don't give your trash paint out to everyone bc you know it's trash and want it gone. There were easily 5 other kinds of paint that could have been sold behind counter. read more

Played this past sunday 8.12.12 and with one word i can summarize my experience... fantastic. You can definitively tell the place is being run by a logical and experience person who is not entirely driven by profits. For starters they have a lot of fill stations... from what i remembered... 3x 3000 and 2x 4500 plus an extra fill stations within the speed-ball staging area. My avg waiting time was 20 seconds.... and every-time i filled went straight to 4500. Refs are the most down to earth people i met. They enforced the 20 feet rule and barrel bag heavily ! great job!!! And during games they do a nice job of monitoring the fields and doing paint checks. Everything is close to one another going from a field back to the waiting area takes less than 1.5 minutes... 2 minutes if you coming from the woods-ball field. Prices are right.. no more price gouging of cases of paint.. they had a case at 50. Which was decent for my phenom. no breaks = no complaints Biggest factor for me.. owner was making himself known to everyone... he was walking around taking pictures.. introducing himself.. asking how everything was.. if we were enjoying ourselves regardless if you were a pro or a first timer... From what i saw there were 4 fields.. plus one speed ball. Very clean the fields in comparison to others. These guys actually wipe down their fields.. i cannot tell you how nice it felt to lean up against a barrier and not get slathered with old paint from days before. Improvements... One thing i will like to be done differently is the woodsball field.. def the side you come up on first from the walk is the weakest... there is no cover really.. basically just sitting ducks unless you can make a mad dash to this thorn bush in the middle and hang tight... because the other side is heavily fortified and have more opportunities to advance moving from cover to cover. Another suggestion is since the other 3 fields are side by side there is really no barrier between them and the only thing separating the fields is a string... a few times we have been hit by balls from the neighboring field by accident... my suggestion is perhaps installing a 6 foot net that extends every 10 yards to help aid in the separation and protection of the neighboring fields. oh... fyi playing planting the bomb at opponents base with unlimited repawns ROCKED !!!! read more

Good for kids? Don't think so. If you go as a walk on they definitely do not separate the teams in accordance to skill level. I went with a first time player 11 yrs old and they ref allowed him to get shot point blank less than 5 feet away without calling the attention on other player. Again on a different game on the same day and same ref, a player surrendered and the ref allowed him to ambush the same 11 yr old child from behind only thing this time he was about 6feet away. Another thing is not once did I see ANY of these so called refs (which are just kids 13-15 yrs old) verify the velocity of any of the markers being used that day, not one. Yes the prices may be great but what of your child's safety? How much is it worth to you to know that the refs and management are reliable and responsible? Is it really good for kids? Arrived late on a Sunday 4/6/14. GPS kept sending me to Paintball Authority which is not the correct site (same street). Placed right next to a field smelling of horse manure; you get used to it or at least not all the fields are close to the smell. While waiting last on line the attendant informed us those who don't get in by 3:30 are going to be turned away. Fair warning as the place was packed and didn't have enough staff. Got in. Those who use Groupon are charged 3$ per person. I do not remember seeing any of that on the Groupon details/disclaimer. Waited for orientation. If I didn't get up to check, they would have let us wait all day. Rentals given to us had empty air tanks. We were rushing and didn't notice till we were finally situated with a group, in the field, as the game was starting. 2 out of the 3 hoppers opened and we lost a lot of paintballs. Upon inspection the plastic holding the hopper closed was worn and does not lock very well. How am I giving this 3 stars? The friendly staff almost overcame their lack of employees on a very busy day. read more

Played once last year on a Groupon. You get what you pay for. 1 real woods ball field, rest is open fields with random obsticles. I got shot from other fields a few times. Most of the refs were terrible and didn't care about anything. I'd rather drive a little further to Top Gun or Cousins. First paintball facility I've been too, it was lots of fun. We had a private party and our assigned ref was great, they have a lot of different courses to choose from and they were different in their own way. I would give this place 5 stars BUT they had no restrooms, the only thing they had were a couple of Johnnie on the spots which were gross!!! The only other reason they lose a star is because some of the staff were very rude, had disgusting attitudes and thought they were this know it all type of people which was very frustrating when you try to tell them your canister for your gun is leaking and you get the response "that is impossible, you don't know what your talking about". Besides the rude staff I had a good time. ADVICE: try not to park next to the speedball field because you will return to a car full of paint, but they do have a hose at the exit to hose down your car before you leave. I will return to this place but I will not take any of the rudeness from the staff. read more

I only gave this place 2 stars because at least if I wanted I could bring my own gear other then that my experience here was horrible. The place smells so rancid around the gun rental booth it is run by a bunch of young kids who have no idea what the heck is going on. The markers my group got were all leaking air to the point that by the time we even stepped foot on a field (over an hour and a half after we got there because the game organization is terrible ) we all needed refills. Once we began our first game about 2 shots in my gun just died and the balls were literally rolling out of my barrel. Will not ever be going there again I live a mile from them and would rather drive to Pennsylvania read more

Worst experience ever!!!! I do paintball every year first time here. This is my experience: 1. I booked a month in advance for my son's 13th bday so that everything would go as planned. 2. my package was to included: a private party, 2 refs, mask, 200 plus paintballs for each player, chest protectors. My party was suppose to start at 1pm but started at 2pm because they were so disorganized and unprofessional. 3. Here's where it all goes downhill: Not only disorganized and unprofessional, I was given one ref and then in the middle of our game decides he's going to ref another group leaving us with someone else. When we finish our 1st game it's bought to my attention by one of our players what happened. Needless to say I express my anger to this ref. He was EXTREMELY apologetic and was the only ONE to step up to the plate and try to make our experience as a private party the way it should have been. 4. So now its time for us to refill on paintballs and air. When we go in the office to get the paintballs we are told we were given our 200 paintballs each. Which clearly was not the case and the guy was rude and arguing with me. Again needless to say i ended up paying $200.00 for more paintballs. WHAT am i to say sorry guest the party is over even before it really started. I paid for a private party and definitely was not treated like a private party. 5. I was relentless with calling the owner up until the day before the party to make sure everything was in place for my son's 1st experience. He assured me over and over no worries it will be everything you expect and will have a great time. Yea right. NEVER AGAIN. the only way i would do this place again is if this disaster is made up to the party of 19 ppl and my son all over again the right way. The only reason i gave it 1 star is because of the ref that tried to help . 6. I came here out of convenience because it's in NJ and I had a group of kids as well as adults. I always go to Skirmish in Pa but that would have been a far commute for some. After this experience I highly recommend go to Skirmish or somewhere else. Do not bring your family here! Drug deals going on right in front of us in the parking lot. Marijuana being used out in the open in the waiting areas. It was poorly organized and crowded. I went here with the groupon so it was really cheap even though I bought an extra case of paint which was $65. What I liked was that everyone I played with was extremely friendly. The fields were pretty good, if anything I just wish they had a few more cause it can get really crowded. I plan on going again soon. read more
