Edited Later: The office called me and cleared everything up, will not be charging me for the portions of bill my insurance did not cover due to the fact that I was originally told that they were in network. I am happy that they are doing the right thing after all. Represented themselves fraudulently, I made appointments for myself and 3 children, asked on phone and in person multiple times if they were in network with my insurance, they assured me each time that they were in network, I even asked them to call my insurance company to confirm before any work was done and they had told me they did. wasn't until after the work was completed that I found out they were not in network for my insurance and the dentist herself told them to just go ahead with work instead of talking with my insurance company like I was told they did. Now I received a $1600 bill after already paying over $400 in office for kids cleanings and an exam. read more

Recklessly incompetent, and rude to boot. They took X-rays and made all plans to pull a baby tooth with a denture "and see what happens"when the adult tooth was visibly never going to take the correct place. The rude part is a way longer story. PLOT TWIST: the baby tooth never needed to be pulled, and the pain being experienced was from a pocket infection easily identified and treated by a far more competent dentist down the road. So we got charged several hundred dollars and had a denture made for literally no reason. read more

Terrible place, AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They will Lie, overcharge, pressure you into care you don't want done, say they will give you a payment plan, but then force you to Pay the balance of said plan the next week, which is not a payment plan, I came back the next week with a temporary tooth, which I complained a lot about, because it felt Like a piece of hardened gum as a tooth, and they told me they needed the balance paid before fixing the temporary crown, the previous week they said they would give me 4 months to Pay, also wildly overcharged me on all procedures, by about $1500-$2000. Dr. Sagar is awful! She maxed out everything in one visit, billed insurance for things not needed/not performed. She said I needed 7 crowns. I got a second and third opinion and both of those dentists were shocked she said that. She even chipped my tooth. I have been requesting records for over a year so I can contact insurance and its always excuse after excuse. Now she has the nerve to send me a bill for more services not performed. Dr. Ekta Sagar is the worst. BTW- she will offer starbucks giftcards for good reviews. read more

UNORGANIZATION I went to the location in Richmond because I live close to that office , my issue was pain in the last tooth that ended in Root canal ( the job at the end was ok ) but the lack of respect with changing doctors , locations , desicions and price is something unacceptable and awful . the first doctor said after the x rays that I need definitely a root canal , after discussing for the prices ( out of pocket payment ) they gave 20 % off if payment is in cash . initially supposed to be ALL THE JOB crown included of course : 2400 usd , then I went to the appointment to do the procedure and the doctor in that day ( is never the same ) said that he will try to save the tooth and he said maybe no need the root canal , well he cleaned and put temporary crown . in the next appointment finally the owner showed up at that location and she suggested definitelly do the root canal because I was in pain , so schedule another appointment for next week but the told me that it has to be done in another location no in Richmond , so first disrespect ... why the owner didn't go there to do it ? just for her convenience , she said in Richmond they don't do root canals .. ah ??? so at the end the forced me to go to Houston to her other office . I did finally the root canal , and yesterday I went to put the permanent crown and finish with this . the prices ended in 1400 + 1600 + 350 usd extra of another part that they didn't charge . I said but the total was initially 2400 usd everything included !!!! the person in the cashier told me that because of the zip code the prices are different but I told them that they should tell me before because ai count with a budget and then they change everything . It gives me now bad taste to ending paying that big amount and treatment was not the best at all honestly . so becareful if you go there with a Lv bag or good pair of shoes , probably they will be more greedy and will scam you at then end . They lost a client because I had to do another fixings .... actually they owe me money , they even didnt refund me 15 usd in the Richmond location because they didn't have change !!!! I ended paying like 1000 usd more just because they said and they can invent whatever and how can you justify or fight for that? They charge for their wrong desicions and also The 2 locations being the same owner , they play that is separate to screw the people depends of their needs , the area that you come from and maybe your appereance ! Terrible customer service and the doctor had a horrible attitude. She tried to begin a procedure on me without explaining the process to me and then when I didn't want to pay that's when she started trying to back track with information. I have been here for more than 2 1/2 hrs and the doctor came is with really poor excuse saying they had other patients. I booked my appointment weeks in advance and if they had other patients they could have handled that in their backend. Today is a work day and I have been sitting here for 2 1/2 hrs and the doctor has yet to begin. She had a terrible attitude and I would not recommend this poor customer service to anyone. I'd had a few small issues with the front staff over the years, but nothing that made me want to take my business elsewhere...until today. First issue: When I arrived with my son for his appointment a couple of years ago, the staff told me they couldn't find his insurance info, so I'd have to pay out of pocket. Mind you, we've used the insurance policy for my son at their office before with no issue. I told them he's under my plan. They had no issues in the past with me and my plan. After 30 minutes, it was finally resolved when I asked to look at the info they had for my son, and they had one item incorrect. Fixed. But, upon next visit for my son, same issue. They didn't update their error the first time. It took some time for it to be resolved. Again. Frustrating, but I moved on. About a year later, I asked the office to update my contact info with my new phone number. I asked this to be my primary number. Didn't happen. I asked again. Didn't happen. The old number they had for me still worked, I just didn't use that phone much. Which brings me to today. The office left me a message a week ago to confirm my appointment. I called back to ask if this appointment was for me or my son? They said it was for me. I told them I would be there. A couple of days before my appointment, they left messages on my old number to confirm the appointment. Again. I didn't get these messages until a couple of days later (on Sunday. My appointment was for Tuesday), because they used my old number. But I also got a text message from the office to confirm the appointment, so I texted back, on Sunday, yes, I would be there. I take a half day from work to make my appointment. I show up and I notice the staff is acting odd after I stand at the front, waiting fir someone to acknowledge me. A little standoffish. I'm told my appointment was cancelled because I didn't call to confirm. I did not receive any communication regarding a cancellation. Trust me, I checked. The staff asked if I would be willing to come back at noon. No, I cannot. I have to be back at work at noon. I suppose it's my fault. I should've heeded the warning signs a long time ago. Oh well. Lesson learned. And vacation time used that I can't get back. read more

The main dentist is okay. She's personable but one of the hygienists gave us the worst experience possible. Brianna has us wait for close to an hour while working on another patient. I'm not sure why we had to wait for this hygienist. When she popped in to check, I asked her how much longer will it be before my child gets a cleaning. I was pretty damn polite about this because I wasn't sure if they were understaffed that day. She then asked me if I had anywhere important to be. I was stunned, at not only the lack of professionalism on her part, but the fact she would have the nerve to ask me this question. Halfway during my child's visit, the office manager was asking if we could do a google review on this business. She kept asking and even suggested that she could send the link via text or email. so the review could be done. I don't like pushy people. Another reason why I stopped going here is that this office suggested my child had gingivitis and needed cleanings every 3 months. Well. A second opinion from another nearby dentist stated my child didn't have this and it's not necessary to have cleanings every three months. There are so many dental offices in the local area to choose from. With all the competition, I'm not interested in waiting way past my appointment time and being talked down to when I can simply take my business elsewhere. read more

Extremely pushy dentist who doesn't listen or just can't invest time to have a conversation with the patient. I have done some work with her including a crown, but I never felt confident about what has been done. And after I had a crown put in, I had developed issues like the bite disalignment , dull pain, sensitivity, and gums bleeding around the crown which I didn't have before on that side. Basically, I wish I haven't had a crown in the first place. On top of that, my attempt to figure the problem ended with her telling me that she will put another two crowns on the opposite site. read more

I really enjoyed this dentist when I first started coming. I decided to go ahead and do their Invisalign treatment. I had the absolute worst experience. I had to go to an emergency dentist to have them remove the trays and the attachments caused my mouth bleed profusely because they were not smoothed properly. I requested a refund and they lied straight to my face saying that Invisalign would not refund me even though I had a serious issue. I spoke with Invisalign directly and they said it is solely through the dentist and that was very untrue. Steer clear of this dentist. Extremely disappointed with Long Meadow Dentistry! The process for my two veneer replacements took almost 7 weeks which is ridiculous. Initially when I chipped my front teeth, they were great with getting me in to do my mold and fit me with temporary veneers. But then the permanent veneers took over 2 weeks to come in and when they did, the color shade was wrong, so Long Meadow sent them back. Then it took about 5 weeks for the them to come back the second time. I received no feedback or calls from the front desk during that time to at least say there was a delay. I had to constantly call for updates on the time from. That's bad communication. Then when the veneers finally arrived 5 weeks later, no one even called to let me know. I literally just happened to call to ask again if they had arrived and the front desk said, oh yes they are. Again..... bad communication. Then when my appointment came up to go in to get the perm veneers out on, the doctor berated an employee right in front of me, shaved my real teeth down on the bottom with no warning or notice when I said the veneers were to long and the bite was too high. Now my bottom teeth are crooked. I will definitely never go back here again. read more

When we first started getting card at this practice it was a male Dentist. Not sure what's happened but now it's a lady. She was inpatient with teen and referred him to another dentist. The appointment was made. When we arrived to the appointment he was placed in the room and prepped BUT that all ended when the doctor realized they didn't send over the doctors release form nor x rays. Complete waste of time! The front desk is helpful until it comes to billing issues. NIGHTMARE! The last draw was going to get cleaning for three of my children and waited for over two hours just to have only one child go back in that time frame. I went ahead and left and switched to a different dentist. I called back to get the monies I paid for services and was told I had a balance of $700, that amount went down to $300 then to $100. Smh only to threaten small claims court to get my funds back the doctor calls me back after almost two years to jokingly say I owe them $300. They are a joke! Steer clear of this place. read more

Very unprofessional. If you decide to go here, please be aware. They are going to suggest to you more than you need. Probably something really severe will be wrong. Like your gums are swollen and on the verge of gingivitis. This will be an additional charge for what they call irrigation for each quadrant of your mouth. They are not going to do normal fillings that your insurance covers either. They do caps that are not covered. Just feels more like they have a hustle going on. Today was my first visit at this dental office ! The first thing I noticed was a very friendly staff& beautiful decor. I had to get x rays done & their X-ray machine is very cool ( it revolves around you ).The only discomfort I had was the in mouth x rays- the plates that go in mouth are very uncomfortable.The dr was very thorough & explained everything to me.I will go back for my crowns. Over all I'd give it a 5 star rating. If you live near grand pkwy or Bellfort /hwy 6 area you should consider them for your dental needs. New to neighborhood so decided to try this local dental office in my neighborhood. I got an appointment within a week. I was very pleased with the front office staff, very friendly and efficient. The dental assistant, Ophelia, gave me a tour of the suite and took all xrays, digitally, and showed them to me with dentist on monitor before my exam. They had the latest equipment (eg. they use head lamps instead of big lightabove chair). Dr. was great, explained everything and answered all my questions.
