This place was a great start for me here in Houston for dental care. I was having issues with my wisdom teeth so I decided to give them a try. (Too many dentist around to pick from) I made an emergency visit due to the pain I was feeling and upon arrival I knew I was at the right place. The staff were very friendly, fun, the office was super clean, updated and even had TVs in the ceiling for you to watch while lying down. Although they couldn't retract my tooth there, they set me up by referring me to another location to get the work done. I was a little nervous about how much longer I'd have to wait but I lucked out and was able to set it up for the same day. I was thrilled it all worked out the way it did and quickly took care of my issue. I have found a local dentist now and I'm looking forward to scheduling cleaning or any future dental work I may need. read more

I've been coming to South Peek for a couple of years now, and it's literally the best dental office in the Houston area. I do not say that lightly. I had a very bad experience as a child at a dentist office, and I didn't go regularly for decades once I was an adult. My experience with other dentists office in the area (especially the large chains) was atrocious, and they were all about maxing out your insurance without any concern for your actual health, tooth or otherwise. Dr. Nguyen, Cheng, the amazing hygienist, and Veronica are really best in class, and care about your treatment and your comfort. When I first went to Dr Nguyen my teeth were in horrible shape. I had a mouth full of teeth where old fillings had chipped away and several teeth that were broken off that required extraction. The staff at South Peek Dental Care are very caring, patient, and gentle. After Dr Nguyen referred me to an oral surgeon who removed my broken teeth that could not be saved, he went to work. I am so very pleased with my restored teeth that now have crowns on them. I am able to eat anything I like and no longer worry about hot or cold hitting sensitive teeth. Dr Nguyen even made a partial plate for missing teeth. My teeth look so normal and I don't have full false teeth yet. I am now back to cleaning every 6 months. I always felt like going to the dentist was a pretty basic thing; nothing special. If your dentist doesn't mess up your teeth, he's good, right? Coming to the team at South Peek Dental was like experiencing fine dining for the first time after only eating at McDonald's. Like wow- this kind of experience exists. I was blown away not only by their professionalism and friendliness, but by their attention to detail (which is huge for me). Flat screen TVs on the CEILING, sunglasses so the light doesn't blind you, going out of their way to take photos of what they're talking about inside your mouth instead of just expecting you to take their word for it, and then explaining in layman's terms the what, why and how. I felt so rushed and overlooked at other dental places and was on a hunt for a new dentistry place. I found one! South Peek made me feel so comfortable and my crown filling experience was so eazy-peezy and painless. The final crown feels like I had nothing done. I love that they take actual pics of your teeth so you know what they are talking about and xrays for themselves. I trusted them so much that I decided to take my 17month old in for a checkup today. My little one needed a cleaning and exam. So we decided to give South Peek a try! Cheng the hygienist was literally the sweetest and so gentle. She even gave my girl a princess toothbrush and goodie bag after the visit was done! Then Dr.Nguyen came in and did the exam and he found one cavity, I was so nervous but he assured me that it could be filled and painless for my daughter. Everything about the dentist makes me nervous, and I dread the day that I'm due for a visit. Through a friend's recommendation, I decided to give this place a shot. I'm so glad I did! The office was very clean and modern! The staffs were very friendly, they greeted me with big bright smiles and immediately offered coffee and water as I walked in. As I got into the dental chair, I noticed how tidy the room was. The table was very clean and organized. The last thing I need is to be a in room cluttered with scary tools that makes me want to run the other direction. The hygienist Cheng was very friendly and informative. I was able to see my xrays and pictures on the big screen tv as she was doing her assessments. If you're like me and have no clues about dentistry, this makes a world of difference in helping me understand my treatments. The cleaning was one of the most pleasant experience. She was gentle and very thorough! I never thought a cleaning would be enjoyable! Cheng made it happen! It also helps that they have a TV mounted on the ceiling. I was able to catch up on my Netflix show, it was a great way to help me relax! The doctor came in right away after my cleaning. Doctor Nguyen seemed very approachable, unlike other dentists I've dealt with in the past. He wasn't quick to criticize about the amount of dentistry that has been done in my mouth. He was a true professional! After my check up, I found that I needed 2 fillings. He was very accommodating and did the fillings right away without having me go through the hassle of returning another day. The shots he gave me were surprisingly painless.
