By the time I walked over to look at the batteries and back they had already written down every option specific to my car with all the associated warranty information and costs on a piece of paper I could take with me. I told them I was going to shop around, but I'll more than likely be back here to buy my battery. Compare this to Advance Auto on Dewey. Those people are miserable. Got an oil filter that Oreilly auto parts told me to get for my 2010 crv along with 5 quarts of…read moreoil. I did my oil change as I have done for years. I started up my car and oil started spaying all over my driveway from the oil filter. In all it was approximately about a quart of NEW oil I lost. I went into the store to try and remedy the situation They thought it could have been a defective filter. I'm not so sure it was but that is here nor there. what it came down to was that they sold me an oil filter that did not work properly. They told me they could give me a new one of the same make and brand. I was not comfortable with this as I felt the filter was not sealing properly to the car. So I asked for another filter that was slightly more expensive at no charge because of inconvenience to myself. I also asked them for one quart of oil to replace the one I lost on my driveway. I wasn't asking for something for free but just to be made whole for my purchase. They told me that they would not give me the oil that was lost because of the filter THEY recommended and that if I wanted the other filter that I would have to pay the difference. Not only that but I had to go to Home Depot to buy some Zep oil cleanup at another loss to me. The real kicker here is that the sign in the door says "We strive for 100% customer satisfaction". Again I wasn't looking for free stuff I just wanted them to take responsibility for their mistake. Instead they made excuses and put the problem back on me the customer. They could have kept a customer if they just took a small hit for THEIR mistake. Too bad. I will drive a bit further for my Car parts from now on. Work on your customer service Oreilly.

Want to give a thank you to Howard Road Garage in Gates. They did a wonderful job of diagnosing my…read moreair conditioning issue and getting me up and running. It ended up being just an a/c relay, which basically cost $15. I paid mostly for the tests that assured me my air condition system was working properly and that my issue was an electrical malfunction. Before going to Howard Road Garage I went to one of the major complete auto care shops because my ac wasn't working. And they gave me a quote of 2500.00 saying that it was my compressor and the serpentine belt. I also was going to buy a set of tires with all of the additional bells and whistles for installation for the total work to come out to $ 4100. Good thing I didn't fall for the first Big Box company's suggesting and went for a second opinion. I paid approximately 10% of what the Big company tried to charge me for repair of my air conditioner. And now I can be cool in the summer again. Thanks Howard Road Garage. A family owned business. Small Businesses are awesome!

The price was considerably lower than the dealer, and the service was quick and friendly. After my car sat at the dealer for 12 days awaiting a new battery, I was in and out of Autozone with a new battery in about 20 minutes ... and was treated with kindness and respect.
