It took roughly an hour and twenty minutes for my turn. That's a little over 15 minute a car. (Mine took 18ish minutes.) Very impressive. The waiting room was clean. The bathroom was clean. The cost was cheaper than my local Nissan dealership. Highly recommended.

Their employees joked with us, were appropriately friendly, and made it a. Nice experience, instead of a rushed experience. We get Synthetic oil, paid 118.00 for oil change. Which is standard for this area for a quick change. But I like Jiffy lube the best because they give a thorough inspection. I've been to this location 2 times before today. Today was the same great service. I wish the technician used a funnel to pour the oil. He spilled some on the engine, but as expected, he was quick to clean it up, so I am happy. After they changed our oil, our check engine light came on. They quickly wiped out a diagnostic machine, to check the codes. We just had it inspected the day before, so it didn't make much sense. Then they popped the hood and checked what the codes were saying. I also like that they work together as team, and it shows in their work, and the way they speak to each other, no sarcasm or shade, just joy and smiles.

He found some things that a Firestone mechanic missed back in February that could have caused some serious issues for us. He pointed out some things that would need to be done after the end of our journey instead of trying to upsell for us to get it done now. Paul also was very good at explaining all of this to us in a way that us non-mechanically inclined people could completely understand. He earned our trust today and we will not be going anywhere else in the future.

Was told they fixed what my son said was wrong and admitted they did not read the codes showing on the dash OR test drive the vehicle when done. Sent me to a specialist for a 2nd opinion who said a mechanic should have known the repair was not going to fix the issue based on the codes. Shared specialist findings with Jeff, the owner of Independence, who immediately went on the defensive. Disagreed with specialist's findings, denied knowledge of conversations we had with his manager about issues with the truck and scheduling the repair, made excuses for why they did not properly diagnose the main issue and share this info with us. Acted like my son and I were the mechanics, and they just blindly followed the single note on the drop off envelope and ignored all conversations. Additional note... when the Manager called with the price quote they found "additional" work on a ball joint they recommended. We said to told them not to repair the ball joint and they responded that they'll just go ahead with repairing the transmission. The day we picked up the truck the transmission was still not working, engine codes still on. Owner refuses to refund or discount any of the repairs they did that per the specialist should not have been done.

I had recently bought tires from them so I was a little concerned it might have been a shoddy job. They gave it a test drive, took off all 4 tires and all within about an hour had found the issue. Turns out I had a loose hub bolt in the rear. So the tire job was flawless, and somehow the bolt had gotten loose causing the back tire to make noise and all it needed was to be re-tightened. The manager Bob and mechanic Tito, took me out and showed me the issue and explained everything, as well as a few other things that should get fixed soon. At checkout time they didn't charge me a thing, which was great. Even though the issue had nothing to do with the tire warranty they let the labor go for free. Thanks guys.

I'm not sure what the point of making an appointment was when my car was not even seen until 3pm. I understand staff shortage issues, etc. However if that is the case then appointments should be managed more effectively to reflect how long it will actually take. An oil change is a simple task. I can pull in an out in 30 minutes at Delta Sonic. I will not make the mistake of using Mavis again.

Well they struck again, this time they said my power steering was leaking. A few years ago I was there with a different car and it was my tie rods, which were not bad when I returned to my regular mechanic for the re inspection. When Frank called me regarding the power steering problem, I simply tried explaining that my garage floor where the vehicle is parked showed no signs of leakage, and that the steering was fine driving it there and asked what the fluid reservoir level looked like. Frank became belligerent and argumentative. I returned, paid the $10 service fee and picked up my vehicle, they had taken the sticker of course. I would NOT recommend this place for any work or inspections. They're just out trying to make an extra buck!

STAY AWAY !!! If I could give them negative reviews I would. The past 6 months they have screwed up…read moreover and over. Most recently I brought in my vehicle to have the tires rotated and that was it and they didnt even do that and lied about it. However I know with certainty that they did not rotate any of the tires. Making mistakes is one thing, straight up lying about services rendered or not rendered is a complete scumbag move.
