Had a great time enjoying dinner at the Crown Plaza hotel restaurant. They had a live band playing and the vibes were amazing right by the beach. The poke bowl was refreshing with lots of veggies and tuna, while the blackened tuna was also great, although the pineapple rice could have been a bit less greasy. Things run on beach time here, so service does take a while but as long as you're not in a hurry, it gives you a good excuse to enjoy the outdoors and sea breeze. Although I'm not a key lime pie fan, the pie was tart and sweet, with lots of whipped cream on the side. Our waiter was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

Surprisingly good food for a hotel beachside bar. The fish tacos were delicious. Blackened, but not incredibly hot. They make a solid burger too. Everything came out hot and fresh. Our bartender was exceptional. Naturally, there's a great view of the water with lots of fans to keep you cool in the Florida heat. Love that the parking is free. Almost every nearby beach place charges for parking.

Connected to the Crowne Plaza hotel, This restaurant/beach bar is a good vibe. It's Literally right on the beach. I had a piña colada and I did the Wagyu sliders with fries. (three dollar up charge if you want fries instead of the kettle chips, it comes with.) staff was nice and friendly. The fries were crispy. And the sliders were very good on the sweet rolls. (If you are staying at the hotel, you can place an order and have food delivered to your room as well)

Longboards was located in the hotel we stayed at and made it really convenient to grab drinks and dinner without leaving the property. After a day at the beach, we enjoyed dinner sitting outside. The drinks were strong and really good. We ordered coconut shrimp and calamari appetizers, Cuban sliders, crabcake sandwich, and a slice of key lime pie. Everything tasted really good, however, the appetizers were $17 each and were very small plates. Only 5 average size shrimp for $17 seems a bit high. The key lime pie was a treat! Recommended ordering a slice. We also dined in for breakfast the following morning and had the breakfast buffet. A big variety of breakfast options, lots of fresh fruit, and omelets to order were included. The pastries were cold but our server brought some in the back and heated them up for us. We were full and satisfied.

Lounging on the beach from 12:30 - 4:00 Saturday and Sunday day...Longboards live music kills the peacefulness of the ocean. It may be louder on the beach than under their huts. Adjacent to them is the Marriott Elements...they have live music, however you can't hear it on the beach. So much for a relaxing weekend.

The view of the beach from the patio is absolutely stunning! Our waiter was friendly but clearly busy. Unfortunately, our food took a long time to arrive, and by the time it did, we were starving. I ordered the market fish, which was snapper, served with mashed potatoes and green beans. The snapper was delicious, especially with the beurre blanc sauce. However, I didn't enjoy the mashed potatoes--the strong bacon flavor was overwhelming for me. That said, someone who loves bacon might really appreciate them.

We checked out this establishment for breakfast. Mollie was our server. Excellent service. We decided on the $17 buffet. We were offered cooked to order omelettes. Delicious. Mollie is excellent refilling my coffee mug several times.

It's hard to find an ocean view in Melbourne, but they have a great view here! Eat outside! Friendly server! Food looks aesthetically pleasing, but wouldn't necessarily come back for the food...

Great service! Great food! Great drinks! Great evening bands! Great ocean life! From check in to check out, very much enjoyed the stay. Plus I'm a very picky person. Kudos to the maids, service workers, and everyone here! 4/5 due to my stays at Iberostar. Can't beat Iberostar all inclusive Grand Paraiso. Also an IHG property. Shout out to Sean(bartender), Karan(breakfast server), Ben and also Lauren(dinner servers).

Best views and great food along the beach. Best beach around! Great drinks! White sand beach!

I was so excited to get the shaved ribeye sandwich but it was... a shaved burger patty??? I mean... literally. That IS what it was. NGL it tasted good but the burger on the menu is a "special blend" not a ribeye... and this was 100% a "shaved" burger patty advertised as a "shaved ribeye". Fries were typical bar food. Crispy though! Drinks were okay but not at all worth the price and time. (Was I spoiled by the last restaurant we'd visited in Brevard that had exceptional draft selections and great prices on everything? Maybe.) Beer was warm. The ONLY thing we absolutely loved was the entertainment. Joshua Keels was playing, we'd never heard of him but wow! Went and found him on Spotify it was so good. Covers and originals. It's amazing how live music can save a place like this. It would have been a 1-2* if not for entertainment. I mean... false advertising on the "shaved ribeye" has me reeling. Did not take pics like I normally would have bc... what was that even?

It is a small cafe run by a man and his wife. The husband is the chef and the wife handles the front. Richard was not familiar with French food by now he is. We started with sharing tender ramekin of escargots that were cooked perfectly with butter, garlic and fresh parsley. He never had it before but he did try one then grab another then I taught him to take the crusty French bread and soak up the garlic butter. We both ordered the beef bourguignon which is my favorite French dish. We both enjoyed it but it was not as rich and flavorful as I have had in the past. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse which was yummy and could not finish it all. Richard had the perfectly cooked and well presented lava cake which I will get next time when I come. The icing on the cake was that a family was eating dinner with grandparents, sons, Daughers and grandchildren. As the grandmother went to the restroom she stopped by to say what a joy it was to watch the two of us talk and enjoy each other. The grands who were 7 and 5 also chatted with us and asked me lots of questions about the places that I have visited. The son and DIL were from the country of Jordan. They were all delightful. He gave me some advise about Poland. When we left the restaurant, there was a full moon over the ocean which added a special accent to the day. At 10:20 tonight there is a SPACE X rocket ship blasting off from Cape Canaveral. We will watch it from the beach!!!!

Wow, we missed so many things about Crush! Those bacon-wrapped Medjool dates, the amazing cocktail program... so many things. It was also topped with an egg and some smoky mayo. Regardless of what it was called, it was TO DIE FOR. My daughter had a huge wedge salad, and it was great. My wife's chive and Gruyère biscuit was awesome, and her strawberry-rhubarb cocktail was delicious. Coming from Dallas, a city with a steakhouse on practically every corner, I can say we definitely know our steaks and steak house experiences. We also travel all over the world looking for the best steak experiences locally. When we first came here, we thought we'd found Melbourne's best. The closest to fine dining steak back home. But over the years, things have just slidden down hill. The once impressive share board has A) not changed in its inclusions during this 5+ year span; and B) gone down in quality considerably. If you look at the pictures of our boards over the years you'll see the Caesar used to be long, elegant romaine leaves with the most delicious lemony-crunchy topping with superior house made dressing. Now it has boring store-looking croutons, no lemon-crunch topping, and the dressing tastes as boring as the salad looks. The potato used to be a large, hassleback prepared encased in a blanket of cheese with another delicious cheese dressing poured on top of that. Now, they just dump a bunch of wet something in the middle of an open lackluster potato. Not only are the items themselves getting more boring, but the board itself being the same for 6 years is boring. Why not change it up? If you can't make an actually good Caesar anymore, why not swap it for a wedge? If you can't be bothered to make a presentable potato - one of the cheapest things for a restaurant to do - why not do some au gratin? Or, why not have 2-3 different boards for people to choose from? Why did they just give up on this concept and themselves? Yes - you can order individual separate sides, but you can do that anywhere. What made this restaurant stand out, and shine like steakhouses in bigger cities, is now dragging them down. We've also really struggled with the hosts over the years. Rude. Inattentive. Not seating in a timely manner despite reservations and an empty restaurant. Being forced into uncomfortably tiny 2-seaters where you feel like you're on a date with the tables next to you. This is the most unromantic thing to do to diners. I would usually never complain about prices at a steakhouse. Again, steakhousing is a hobby of ours and we are fully invested. But... the prices USED to be completely justified given the quality food and experiences. Now... I'd say there are plenty of other restaurants in town with better quality, better service, better vibes - for a better price. I miss the patio vibes. I miss wine by the fire pits. I miss friendly servers and hosts and well-executed offerings. That's such a bummer. If their business couldn't sustain the patio area, maybe they should have thought about why people weren't coming back and made efforts to correct that. Instead of taking away the things they still had going for themselves and flopping on the things they continued offering. What used to be a beautiful location with great service and a thoughtful menu is now a played out shell of its former self. I've shared feedback with the restaurant multiple times over the years, and nothing changes. Like... literally nothing changes unless it's actually getting worse. It's gone downhill, guys. No matter how many videos you post on social of your chefs and how proud you are of your food... I will not be fooled, again.
