We have visited this location probably four times over the last two years, so not frequent YET enough to get an understanding of their quality. This place has gone down the hill tremendously under the new management. The food, service and restaurant have all diminished in quality other the last year. Our recent experience has me having to update my review. Service was decent. I forgot his name but he did a fairly good job being that he was training someone at the same time. Though I wish we could've gotten drink refills at least once during our meal.. Stopped by for dinner since my husband was craving steaks but didn't feel like starting the grill. Let's just say his craving was not satisfied and we ended up having to start the grill the next day anyway.. He ordered the ribeye and I, the cowboy porkchops. I didn't get any pictures of his steak because it was underwhelming as well as the rest of our orders. But I had to take pictures of the COWBOY porkchops because that is definitely a dish they need to rename. Cowboy anything means thickkk and these pork chops were so thin.. making them obviously dry. I have been a patron for years and do enjoy the food and the service I have received EXCEPT for the bartender, Dave. I have reported him to corporate twice with no response. This man acts very inappropriately, spreads rumors about his regulars, and always keeps the rumors going. I have to make sure he's not working before I come in because he makes me so uncomfortable. I usually enjoy my meals at LongHorn, but this visit was just okay. I decided to try a hamburger for lunch for the first time and ordered it without tomato--seems simple enough, right? However, when it arrived, it was just meat and a bun--nothing else. I called the waitress over to address the issue, and at first, she started to disagree, saying that's how I ordered it. Then, she seemed to realize her mistake, quickly adjusted her tone, and corrected the order. Unfortunately, the burger itself was disappointing and not enjoyable at all. We actually had plans to visit the Longhorn steakhouse in Athens but due to crazy traffic we ended up at this one. The location is super convenient just off 316. We came in at 6 o'clock on a Friday evening and we were promptly greeted as we entered and seated immediately at a hightop table in the bar area. Our server, whose name I sadly have forgotten, was fantastic. He checked on us often without it being too much. He had a great professional personality while also being very friendly and engaging. I ordered the small filet, my son had the 8 ounce sirloin and my husband had a ribeye steak. All of our steaks were cooked just right and full of flavor. Even the bread was bad . My friend said her food was not up to normal standard either. Another friend warned me to avoid that location. We tried to make reservations yesterday for group of 9 for graduation celebration, we were told to call today an hour out from arriving. We did and made reservation for our party of 9. Get inside and we are told we would have to wait because they had several parties from graduations and it would be between 30-50 minutes. While waiting we get texts saying our table is ready, we go to the host desk and it's not ready. Apparently another party of 9 came in and they got our table and we are still waiting. We have been here an hour. Would not recommend. Either you honor what you say about taking a reservation or you don't and keep track of who has reserved a table and make sure the right people get the damn table. read more

Last year we starting attending a church in Bethlehem GA and eating at the Longhorn on Exchange Blvd. We have been shocked that the food is consistently below par. We keep coming back thinking they will have new cooks. Today we tried again and were very disappointed. I ordered the Parmesan Chicken and it was cold and very dry. The chicken must have been cooked earlier not freshly cooked. The mashed potatoes were cold and had an instant taste. The large chunk of butter on top would not even melt. Even the parmesan topping seemed. old and dry. My friend got a rib eye and it was very tough. My other friend had to send her steak back as it was overcooked. The service was great. I made a point of discussing all of this with the manager. I did not ask for any reimbursement. Whoever owns this place needs to know this. read more

My daughter's 6 oz filet was also ordered med rare, hers was medium getting close to well. I don't like paying over $30 for overcooked steak. Unfortunately we were missing a side of broccoli, there was sour cream in the topping for one of the potatoes that we asked to be left off and there wasn't any compounded cinnamon butter for the bread. It may not sound like much but we bought 4 expensive combo meals for a family birthday. We expected what we ordered. We ended up sharing sides so no one felt slighted and made our own compounded butter. The person who wanted the -no sour cream loaded potato- just had butter on theirs. I will bump this to 5 stars as this was my last dinner with my mother before she passed recently and she loved Longhorns - anywhere- as we have been going for over 35 years at least but each location you have to wonder- will it be good. Great job here!!! I generally get a booth in the bar as its easier for her to sit and her wheel chair not get in the way but we had to get a table as she could not get up- so we sat in the dining room- a bit apart from the traffic so good choice by the hostess. Great staff, eager and ambitions servers, so we always start with a cocktail- even if its just a sip- and I do my yelp pics of her holding my drink so I can set her up on FB posts etc..... as I always want mom to look good and only post our good days. This was a good day. Came for lunch, 1-130ish, less of a crowd so always works for us. I actually can't remember at this location which app we got, but good- but she gets a flo filet MR mostly but went for the ribeye MR and it was fantastic!!! I got the salmon dish and salad which were perfect as well so we shared a bit so we both had some surf and turf and salad and more food that we could eat. The service was spot on, everyone pleasant and the food was again spot on. I travel quite a bit so I eased off the steaks for a while but glad she got the ribeye because I'm a filet guy too and I'm getting the ribeye next time I go! Flo got a little smaller and pricey but that ribeye was a head turner. My new go to steak here as well as the salmon they always do well. Impressed. Highly recommend. read more

The steak was ok, but cold. Literally needed a steak knife to cut through the cold overcooked lobster. Crispy Brussels Sprouts were a cold and soggy blob. Fries were a cold mush. No more chances for them to provide even mediocre service. Been here a couple times but tonight was less "successful". Ordered the filet and lobster with Brussels sprouts. Everything came out cold. I am DONE with this location!! The Longhorns in Bethlehem, Ga has to be the WORST restaurant I have repeatedly experienced.! We decided to give them another chance after the last epic fail (that they believed they rectified with a $15 gift card because that basically covers the tax on any given bill) then followed that fail with some awful French onion soup (dumped a bottle of salt in it) and piss poor service AGAIN. We should have known better. So on our third attempt this year (hoping they got it together) lol, I ordered the Renegade with shrimp, my steak to be cooked medium which according to them is "a little pink in the middle". Instead I got a well done, hard and extremely dry (inedible) hockey puck. My son ordered a burger WITHOUT bacon cooked medium well...yep, you guessed it, his burger had bacon on it (no ketchup as requested and can be seen on the receipt) and his was cooked medium rare. My husband ordered the parmesan crusted chicken that they decided to stack them on top of each other (instead of side by side as it usually is). While this location is convenient for us, we will not be back and will deter anyone that considers going there. The service, the kitchen and especially the management are in desperate need of an overhaul. Longhorns (like every other restaurant due to inflation and overall economy has gone up in prices) so at the very least i expect my meal to be prepared as ordered. Wow, don't order the kids mac and cheese, it's prepackaged. My nephew was just served the plastic lid in the bottom of the dish. Come to find out all of the sides are prepackaged and microwaved.
