I ordered the 6oz filet cooked medium rare with a loaded baked potato, side salad, and bread. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted absolutely amazing. I was offered walk-up seating at the bar, which worked out well. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. Food came out quickly and exactly as ordered. Visited 7/11/25 at 4pm. Waitress, Sophia, was very inattentive. Floors were filthy, literally a hunk of steak on the floor next to our table that at least 3 staff (host, waitress and food runner) all glanced at the mess and didn't bother to acknowledge or clean up. My steak was delivered cold and overcooked. Had Sophia checked on us, I might have sent the steak back, however I was tired from driving all day and just decided to eat it anyway. My drink was empty the entire meal. Such a disappointment for Longhorn, as we travel all over the country and Longhorn is usually a sure bet for a great meal. Not this one. read more

Unless you want to bring your own coaster to hold up your table..to leave every server super confused to why your annoyed by your table rocking back and forth. So slanted the salt shaker fly's off the table while you try to use the bathroom..speaking of the bathroom don't plan on privacy as the first stall lock is broken. On top of that if you plan to order your child a hamburger ask for it to not be burnt. My 7 year old suggested maybe asking it you'd prefer burnt or not. A few weeks ago I met this pretty young thing from Hazen for dinner at this fine establishment. It was my first time in North Dakota & I didn't know what to expect. I got the Longhorn medium rare & it was quite possibly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten, the server talked me into getting the loaded baked potato -- it paired nicely with the steak. Home of the saddest ribeye steak I've ever seen. While the staff is friendly and attentive, I would not order the ribeye here ever again. I ordered a medium done 12 oz ribeye, what I got was the saddest 1/4 thick well done steak I've ever seen. I can't even be mad that it was so overcooked versus what I ordered, because the cut was so thin I don't think there was any way for it to be medium done without it being nearly raw, as any sear on the outside would still overcook the inside while it rests. What I am mad about is that this sad steak is $26 worth of disappointment. I think next father's day I'll just grill at home for the family instead of having us wait an hour for a meal that isn't worth the price. read more

Group of 7 tonight, service was excellent. Most everyone's food was good. Appetizers of Stuffed Mushrooms and Onion Petals were very good and plentiful. Salad, just ok. I have the only complaint in the group but hey, I'm a long time 'foodie'. I ordered the New York Strip, one of my favorite cuts. Tonight, it was just a strip loin and a vein cut to boot. A nice lunch today sitting at the bar. The young lady who was taking care of the bar area was attentive and prompt, taking my drink order and providing a refill of my soda water before I'd even finished the first one. For lunch, the 7 pepper sirloin salad was excellent. Very peppery, cooked to order and with a good amount of stuff in addition to the lettuce. A very large salad, I ate the steak of course and the blue cheese crumbles but there was no way that this much lettuce was going to be consumed today. I left very full and satisfied. The fact that the restaurant was full at 5:30 on a Wednesday certainly says something for its popularity. We were offered a high top at the bar, which we declined, and we had to wait about 10 minutes for a "real" table, which brings up a small issue. The table was a booth with a fixed table and benches, so it was impossible to get closer to the table without sitting on the edge of your seat. They also have traditional tables with chairs, but these seem to be reserved for bigger parties. While the food quality was typical for a chain restaurant, it was plentiful for the price, and the steak preparation was definitely above average. They use very "bold" (our server's word) seasoning on their steaks, but you can ask for light seasoning which is just right for my tastes. The doneness was exactly as described, and the steak was very tender. Despite being busy, our server was very attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, beer selections, etc. It really takes the experience up a notch when the server is on top of things and doesn't have to say, "let me go check." read more

I have always believed that a good steak needs very little seasoning. The fries were not very good; either freezer burned, over cooked or both. The steak was done correctly, but that was the best this restaurant had to offer. From the start after waiting 45 min for a table, and 1.25 hours until we were able to order, it was evident that this restaurant is poorly managed. Our server dumped her drinks by accident, bless her for being able to keep her composure, but no one came to her aid. No one works together. My sister was missing her steak, by brother his shrimp. There was no one trying to make us feel "special" as you would expect from an upscale restaurant. The staff is a reflection of leadership, and it was evident there was none. After being overcharged, they tried to correct it but couldn't. I don't blame the server, but don't expect this restaurant to treat you the way you should be, until the manager leads by example. Too bad On the way out, someone stopped us to give us business cards for some free food. It was certainly a nice gesture, but 4 of us are from out of town. If he had come to us while we were seated, this review would have been different, and our server would have received a larger tip. Teachable moment I guess. read more

If you're looking for steak in Bismarck, it's pretty much this place or Texas Roadhouse. Having visited a Longhorn in PA previously, I was hoping for the same reliably delicious steak I had last time. I ordered a medium ribeye with the whole carrots and a side salad. The first steak was VERY well done, as in gray all the way through and chewy. However, they made it right and the new steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. I don't fault a restaurant for making mistakes, and I was happy with how quickly they brought me a replacement with apologies. The carrots were good, but on the sweet side. The sauce was definitely more suited to sweet potatoes; I think dill carrots would have made more sense. This place is a solid choice for good steak, although pricey. You'll get higher quality food albeit with smaller portions. read more

Service was good. Food not so much. When a cook at a steak house it is important to be able to get steaks cooked to the right temp. The French onion soup was Luke warm the top of the cheese was kinda melted but everything under it was a clump of unmelted cheese and very few onions. The asparagus was dry and very over cooked way past chard just straight up burnt. When you touched the heads they would disintegrate. I got the chopped steak here with a salad and their grill roasted corn on the cob. The corn was excellent as was the steak with the mushroom demi. Rich and very flavorful. My stepdaughter got the bourbon glazed salmon and it was great. My Sister and brother in law go steak and reported it to be perfectly cooked. staff was very pleasant and quick. My colleagues and I were grabbing some food at this restaurant before an important meeting. So we gave ourselves some extra time. The food we ordered was delivered to another table over an hour after we had given our order to the waitress. We found this out because she came out and told us that she gave our food to someone else, and that she had to throw it away but they were remaking ours next. Now remember we were already waiting for over an hour and we are now very late for a meeting. But I can understand what happened and that was fine. But I can't understand is why she said our food was up and in the window about 20 minutes after that and then never delivered it until about 10 minutes later so it was literally another 1/2 hour. The kicker! It was very cold. Everyone had cold food so we know it sat there. None of us complained we just ate it. But then we decided to ask to ask her to discount the price. That is when the waitress grabbed the ticket, gave us the stink eye like somehow we suck for asking that and abruptly left not saying a word. She then returned and dumped the bill off without any explanation and quickly vanished. They gave us five dollars off. Yippee! We were an hour late for our meeting and there was virtually no discount for poor service, cold food and a bad attitude. As a matter of fact, it was kind of a slap in the face. As a result, we all said, that will be the last time we would go there. If I could give it zero stars I would. read more

My wife and I just got back from what was supposed to be a romantic valentine's dinner. The food was good but the Parmesan crust we ordered on our entrees was so salty it could not be eaten. Also we were placed in a remote corner next to a station where a waitress in training was watching videos on preventing bacterial poisoning and food born illnesses. Very romantic. Last time we were there we were seated by the restrooms so we were in the midst of the traffic going in and out. Another special experience. We have been at this restaurant about 5 times and each time something has been glaringly wrong and each time we have kindly given them the benefit of the doubt.
