Food is always good, service is always quick, and it's a nice atmosphere. I've never had a bad experience at this location.

Lunch Food is good! Service is ok. They are trying, learning. Ambiance is so-so. I will try it again.

My wife and I had dinner with another couple this week at The LongHorn Steakhouse here n Douglas. (We live in Long Island, NY.) This was my first visit to this chain and I could not have enjoyed the evening more. Our friends told us that they get busy quickly in the evening so we arrived at 5:15 to a very warm welcome and were seated immediately. I knew that this was gong to be a good experience just from the way it started. Our very efficient server, Junior came right over to our table and take a drink orders. He then delivered the drinks with menus and bread and asked us if we had any questions. We just wanted to sit and speak for a few minutes and enjoy our surroundings. This restaurant is a very comfortable spot where noise was not a problem even as they filled up. It was an easy evening of ordering as most of the group had the filet and I had the Chop Steak. (Descriptions are from the menu) We started with the Texas Tonion® A Texas-sized portion of onion petals fried to a crispy golden brown and seasoned with signature Prairie Dust. Served with zesty dip. - This was great and a welcome treat after eating the Onion from Outback for years. [I think everyone] really enjoyed this nice heaping portion of crisp onion pieces. Flo's Filet®. This iconic cut has been here since opening in 1981. A very tender center cut is coated with signature Grill Seasoning and seared to lock in the classic buttery flavor. - You knew everyone enjoyed this Just from the expressions on everyone's face. They had a wide variety of sides with the main meal and most of us went with a salad and potato or greens. Chop Steak*. A 10 oz. of fresh ground beef loaded with roasted mushrooms and caramelized onions, smothered with savory garlic herb sauce. - This was my selection. I love a good chop steak and find fewer and fewer restaurants offering it. I usually have to go with a large hamburger. This was a welcome choice and really [really] good. Overall, we were all VERY HAPPY to have come here and we all truly enjoyed ourselves. We look forward to visiting a LongHorn not far from where we live. On a personal note... I DO NOT understand the one star reviews. These are not regular Yelp users as shown by the fact that they have no friends, no pictures and either one or two reviews. DO NOT pay attention to them. My husband and I enjoyed a delicious lunch. I had the chicken strawberry salad. It was all really fresh and enough for two meals. The best salad I've had in a while!! Def will get this again! Maybe even get takeout and split with my husband for dinner! He got chopped steak and mashed potatoes. He thought his was delicious, too. Great, friendly service!! The steak and sweet potato are excellent. No problem there. The ambiance is that of a bustling steakhouse. No problem there. The service from the server, Kaylee, is excellent. If you can ask to sit in her section, that will be the best thing here for you. Not all that impressed with the salad or the honey mustard dressing. read more

Food was subpar. French onion soup was cold. Burger dry and bun stale. Better service at the huddle house and food is better there too. The vibe is just depressing. It's as if you hate your life, you should dine or work here. Maybe both. Guest stand at the host stand for long periods of time with no acknowledgment. Too much trouble to welcome paying customers. Regarding paying, I finished the meal and waited for 10 minutes for someone to bring me the check. Never got my drink filled the entire time. I think the only way I'd come back here is if they renamed it Firehouse and started serving sandwiches. read more

Second time visiting and sitting at Long Horn stake house restaurant At Coffee County Douglas Ga , unfortunately both times I had the same bad experience. customer service was very slow or simple don't care . I ordered French fries and result was saggy , cold and salty . The regular food was also way to salty and oily was not eatable. I paid for the food and gave a nice tip but i will never go back there again . I won't recommend that place to anyone . read more

My beautiful wife and I decided to have a appetizers and drink at Longhorn. We both read online that it was discounted between 4-6 on weekdays. So we sat at the bar and asked about happy hour and they said they only offered a few discounted drinks . Kinda bummed about it due to the high prices but we ordered anyways. 3 appetizers, 1 mixed drink and 2 small draft beers with tip was $80. Service was good but we never did get any bread. Title: Terrible Customer Service - Birthday Dinner Ruined I placed a to-go order from the LongHorn in Douglas, Georgia for my birthday dinner. When my husband got home with the food, we discovered that two of the premium sides we paid extra for ($3.99 each) were missing. I called the store and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes, only to be told they could only issue a gift card refund--not a full refund--and only for the sides that were missing. No apology, no discount, nothing offered to make up for the inconvenience or the ruined meal. I explained that this was for a birthday dinner and that the experience had already been ruined by the hassle. I told them I wouldn't be returning, and if they wanted to make it right, a gesture like a discount or at least a sincere apology would go a long way. When I asked who the district manager was, the woman refused to tell me. I asked for her name--twice--and then she hung up on me. At this point, I haven't received any refund or resolution of any kind. Between the missing food, the unprofessional behavior, and the complete lack of care, I can honestly say I will never eat at this location again. Do better, LongHorn. read more

Sat at the bar last night. Service was so slow. I ordered French onion soup it was ice cold. Like it just came out of the fridge. Sent it back. Then I ordered steak and shrimp with crusted Parmesan with mashed potato and salad. It came with no crusted Parmesan and was again cold. Not even warm. I just drove 6 hours and just wanted a good meal. I was so disappointed in the food and the service. The girls were running around with takeout. Didn't care about the customers there. read more

Just left there rather annoyed at the service mainly. Waitress is sweet, however her training needs an overhaul. With these prices I expect better service. First I let her know we needed a to go order after we ate our meal, that I wanted it put in for the kitchen when our food came so by the time we were done it would be ready, but sadly she put all orders in at the same time. Obviously she didn't listen. Second I got my salad before we got our appetizer and it's suppose to be appetizer first, then salad then the meal and before we could even enjoy much of the appetizer the meals came. Granted the food was delicious and their saving grace in this instance although I did ask them to heat my baked potato because it wasn't hot and she ended up bringing me an entirely new but very hot baked potato, which was fine, They brought our additional to go order (for another family member at home) right after they brought our main course. I was not pleased with this and you can imagine our table was quite full. So now I feel rushed because I don't want the to go order sitting there long and getting cold, so we got boxes after a few bites and packed up everything and left. So first they were out of Wild West Shrimp. So I was like ok just give me a Redrock shrimp with double rice. So when my meal came out it was just a plate of shrimp no rice. The waitress said oh I'm sorry we are out of rice also. I told her if I knew you were out of rice I wouldn't have ordered the Redrock shrimp. I asked her to just adjust my bill to accommodate to for the issue. She said that she couldn't and that I can just order another side. So I asked to speak to the manager because I was highly disappointed at this time. So the manager, Mr. Blair said well since tomorrow is Thanksgiving we didn't order a lot of food because we are closed tomorrow. I reiterated that if I would have known they didn't have rice I wouldn't have ordered the Redrock shrimp. He said he would see what he could do. I didn't hear nothing back from the manager. The waitress said he took $4 off. Don't think this was handled properly, the manager never came back to say how the issue would be rectified. read more
