I used to go to LongHorn Steakhouse at least once a week and genuinely loved the place, which makes this even more disappointing. I don't know when this location went so far downhill, but this was honestly one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. I was told my food was ready at 9:12 and didn't actually receive it until 9:40 after having to walk inside myself and ask for it. On top of that, I ordered a medium well steak and it came out completely charred black. The bread was stale and hard, they forgot the butter for the sweet potato, and the Brussels sprouts had so much salt dumped on them they were basically inedible. To make things even more unprofessional, while customers were waiting outside, two bus boys were standing there talking to each other while one showed the other pictures on his phone saying, "Look at this girl, I'm sleeping with her and her friend." Completely inappropriate behavior in front of customers. Really sad to see because this used to be one of my favorite spots. read more

My Fiancé and I had the porterhouse steak meal our appetizers were the Parmesan crusted mushrooms and the Parmesan crusted fries! All was good until we paid the bill and went to leave as we are walking out A MICE RAN ACTOSS THE FLOOR! 2pm in the afternoon with customers dining and mice running around!! No NO NO NO!!!!! If rodents are in the dinning area they have to be in the kitchen. This situation brought about fear and unsanitary thoughts for me!!! I addressed it with the manager!! This is my wife and I first time coming here. To Longhorn at all. Let me just say this everything was absolutely amazing. The wild shrimp, the spinach dip with potato soup, strawberry salad, porterhouse with Parmesan crust, asparagus, loaded potato corn everything was just out of this world. And the service was really, really great. It seemed like there was a really good morale among the staff, even though they didn't seem to have many waiters and waitresses, they were balancing it very very well. One of the things that I was surprised about was there amount of people here. It was almost literally packed on a Monday night. That says a lot about a business particularly a restaurant and the ambience was good too really enjoyed it with my wife. read more

We're we immediately greeted-YES! Very friendly and accommodating-WAITRESS -EXCELLENT( I hate I don't remember her name) she took our drink orders and food , delivered my salad quickly and was quite engaging. The three stars are fo r the quality of the food. My NY Strip was tough! I Ordered medium well and they over cooked it. Didn't want to send it back as I was disappointed at that time plus it was cold as if they had it sitting there waiting. My husband and I came for our anniversary on Tuesday, Oct 7. I asked for romaine lettuce for my salad instead of iceberg. When they brought the salad out it was just romaine lettuce no cheese tomatoes or cucumbers. The bread was not warm and my husband's ribs were a little burnt. The waiter was very nice. He bought out some chopped cucumbers & tomatoes for my salad. With that said I was going to rate 3 stars, however the manager Ty saved my Anniversary dinner. He apologized for all the little things that took away from our celebration and gave us dessert on the house plus 10% off the bill. I love Longhorn Steakhouse. I travel across Pennsylvania for work, and eat at several different locations. I've had a few slightly negative experiences, but considering the number of times I eat there, I guess it's to be expected. However, tonight's visit to the Springfield PA location was super disappointing. I placed a curbside order in the app, as I've done many times. My order was placed at 8:06 pm and would be ready by 8:20 pm. It took me 4 minutes to drive there from my hotel. The parking lot was sparse, so not super busy. I checked into my curbside space and waited. At 8:37 pm, I was still waiting, so I called and was put on hold while they checked into the issue. At 8:41 pm while I was still on hold, my order was brought out. It was hardly warm, and there were no utensils, as requested. I guess I was supposed to use my hands for steak and mashed potatoes? The restaurant was empty they sat us in booths of four which didn't work because of the walls between the booths. We asked the manager if we could move our party to the section that had the open tables and was told that there was no server for that section. I had a very nice experience at this specific Longhorn Steakhouse location. I was in the neighborhood during lunch time and figured it was a good enough choice as any other. I have dined at Longhorn Steakhouse before but at another location and during dinnertime. I was not super hungry so I went with the lunch combination. Cannot beat $10 for a bowl of Shrimp & Lobster Chowder and a 7-Pepper Sirloin half salad. I thought both dishes were plentiful considering they were half sizes for the lunch special. Sirloin can typically be tough but I thought it was tender enough even though it was cooked a little more than I like. The chowder is what filled me the most because they gave a much bigger bowl than I expected. I would definitely recommend Longhorn's lunch combo specials when you don't want to break the bank but you do what a decent portion of food. I figured we would get in and out as there weren't tons of people on a Wednesday night. We came in and there was a party of 2 and a baby waiting. We were told 5 minutes while a table was cleared. The people waiting were told 5 more minutes. Then after 10 minutes another party of 2 came in, got a pager and were told 5 minutes as well. At first, my cousin and I laughed because it was funny, but after 15 minutes had passed and the party that came in after us had a pager that went off, we told them NOPE we need to be seated as we've been waiting. Got seated and every response was 5 minutes. So I'm assuming that's a LongHorn favorite number. Our waitress asked if we wanted bread and we said yes and she said it would be another 5 minutes before fresh bread came out. So obviously it wasn't as our food and drinks came before any bread even showed itself. So obviously, it wasn't 5 minutes. FOOD: I ordered the dry rub wings and the seafood dip. Full disclosure: I don't usually eat wings. But the photo looked like they would be very well seasoned and tasty. I ordered all flats crispy. It was a no for me. My cousin who eats wings also was disappointed because the photos made it seemed seasoned and they just really aren't. They're just plain breaded wings. Period. With buffalo and blue cheese dipping sauce. Just don't waste your time ordering them. I ate 2 wings and just told my cousin she could take the rest. The dip was delicious. I enjoyed it with the pita. I ate that. And my drink was delicious. It was a peach sangria. Overall, this is why I don't like chain places much and reviewing them isn't all that great. No authenticity here. A very enjoyable meal, we sat at the bar because of first come first serve policy. Bartender very nice and knowledgeable for a place that just opened 4 days ago. We had the onion petals, chili & soup. I had the cowboy steak with baked potato and the Miss's had the ribs and filet with sweet potato. It was delicious. Sorry to say the puppy had no doggie bag this night. This is not the first time we have eaten at this chain steakhouse but this was by far the best experience we have had at one.
