The pulled pork was fine but I don't think it blends well with the macaroni. The macaroni is well seasoned and prepared. I do not taste any bacon in mine- I think they forgot to add it in. I saw after the fact they have a Mac and cheese burger which I don't see everywhere. This place also has Po Boys regularly which can be hard to find in this area. Apparently if you want an Oyster Po Boy, I don't believe they have it here but you can go to Ruby Cajun not too far away. read more

And the dipping sauces? Incredible. So many great options and each one brought something different to the table. We also got fries and the Chicken Spinach Panini, which were both delicious. The panini was perfectly grilled, cheesy, and satisfying. Even delivered, everything arrived hot, fresh, and well-packed. This place immediately jumped to the top of our local favorites list, and we can't wait to order again--or better yet, dine in next time to explore more of the menu. The food is juicy delicious. My spouse wanted to go here because "any place with pig in the name is where he wants to be" and it was close enough to the Media elementary school that we could get take out and hang at the playground. We got the pulled pork, Mac cheese, bacon sandwich extravaganza and it was fantastic. The topping was so fun and the meat itself was excellent (see juicy above, add flavorful). We also got the shrimp po boy which was fresh (lettuce, mato) and crunchy (shrimp, perfectly done) and tasty (great sauce). I would have been happy having it all to myself, but we have a policy of sharing everything. The fried fish was fishy and its crispness was gone instead left a mush. Corn was good. String beans were overcooked again mush, zero snap. Chicken was mush and the fries were undercooked and limp. Cornbread was delicious! Showed up a minute after the pick up time on the order. Maybe a bad night and gotta give it another whirl the ingredients seemed fine quality but missing on so many basics like fishiness and barely cooked fries is rough. read more

Different cheesesteak #1105 in the last five years. Special Wednesday addition of drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. We got the Broad St Bully and took it to Ship Bottom Brewing in Swarthmore. I am surprised how small this cheesesteak looks in the pictures because it had some very good weight to it. This cheesesteak comes with cherry peppers and chipotle sauce so you pretty much have to drink beer with it. I like Tattooed Pigs' creativity and am very proud of myself for avoiding their desserts. Haven't had proper bbq around upper Darby and other Delco townships, but I have to say I'm pleasantly impressed by tattooed pig. I arrived before pickup time and noticed the dine in area was very nice. Service was excellent when picking up, with the man whom I thought may be the owner notifying me that the wings I ordered (tattooed pig hot) were very spicy, just so I'm aware. And I have to say, as a spice lover, he was right. Not hot for hot's sake, amazing flavor, and I prefer fried over smoked wings, but they were better than most places do fried wings. It's Friday night and I have a hankering for a cheese steak. When you don't already have a favorite spot for anything the best place to look? "Yelp," and I searched for the best cheese steak around 19064. "The Tattooed Pig" in Media came up with raves so I put in a pickup order for Pizza Steak. My $20 large, which is what it cost with all their add-on fees including tip, was one of the best Pizza Steaks ever. Somehow, their fried mozzarella combined with steak and onions made for a very special Friday Night. First, we had no intention of stopping here for dinner. Second, after we ordered our food, it took a quite a while to receive our food. But it's one of the best mishaps I have ever experienced, and every minute that we waited to receive our food was worth it. The food is amazing. A great experience, can't wait to pop back in if I'm back in the area! We stopped by here after a visit to Linvilla orchards and just loved our meal. The servers were helpful, gave us great recs and checked in with us as they prepared our food. We got the ribs and pulled pork, both super flavorful and well made. And the portions? More than generous! The pulled pork was especially an incredible value, especially with the sides (on that note, the mac and cheese was a dream). I ended up with plenty of leftovers for the week and they reheated great! In a time of inflation this is one of these restaurants you love to see! Was looking forward to trying this new successor at the Vinnie's Place location. My wife had a cheesesteak which she said was delicious, but I had the bbq brisket platter which was not very good. There was so much unrendered fat and gristle that it was difficult to eat. It did not have trademark appearance of a bbq brisket so I doubt it was smoked. But the sauce was very tasty. Nice young lady greeted us, showed us menus and we sat to review. The place is clean, tiny, personal with a family vibe, the family photos on ledges and corners, on the haphazard painted, wood planked walls. The just loud enough Blues had my foot tapping but I could still converse with my hubby. We chose our own lemonades but other drink options were available too. The food was quick and hot and served on 10'x12" tray. The bread was warm, with a good texture, not soggy at all. The fillings were plentiful and the sauces were good in both. The sandwiches were delicious(I tried both), the original lemonade was perfect, the mango one was tart n sweeter. Packed up the other half of our sandwiches bc it was large.
