Pretty empty, 5 minute wait to be seated, our waitress was fantastic. Food was good. We will be back.

Came in for lunch and as usually the food, the service and vibe were amazing. We love this steakhouse. A full bar and fully accessible. Always accommodating and Trevor our waitstaff was fantastic. I just wanted to post an update that THIS steakhouse is always consistent with food, and service. They go out of their way to ensure a great experience every single time. My only complaint is their corporate decision to discontinue a military discount. Sadly.

I had a very good time celebrating with family there at Longhorn, last night. Olivia was our server and she did an excellent job! She was so alert to our requests. She was friendly. She was working hard. Our meals were very delicious. I had a strip steak, brussels and a baked potato that was loaded . My drinks were so refreshing and such a treat on the weekend. The restaurant was packed but really we were not crowded because there was plenty of space between booths and all the tables. I had a lovely dinner with beloved family and we all want to go back again soon! I highly recommend going in there for a date or friend gathering!

Taste: 4/5 Value: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Causal steakhouse with a good amount of non-beef options. Came here with my family and 5/6 of us really enjoyed our meals (I guess don't get the burgers but the steaks, lamb, chicken, and ribs were all tasty)! My sister and I were disappointed by the lack of drink specials, but I will say the drinks are very large so that makes up for it. They don't accept reservations but it wasn't really a problem for us, we came on a Saturday and had no wait. Our server was great and made us feel very comfortable during our stay.

I have been to various Longhorn locations over the years. I've always gotten a good meal. I reviewed the Port St. Lucie location a while back and it was very good. This West Melbourne is out standing. We had the shrimp appetizer which was crispy, fresh and served in a boat shaped dish. The portion was extremely generous. I had the 22 oz Longhorn which was very tender and cooked to the requested temperature. Everyone in my party of 3 was extremely pleased with their meal. We would have liked to try the cheesecake that was displayed on the menu but no one had any room left. Our server CJ helped to make our visit even better with her attentive service and positive attitude. Up until this experience the Steakhouse 1 exit away was my favorite. Now, I'm not so sure. In any event, if you're in the mood for a great steak at a reasonable price, I strongly recommend this location!

Had a solid 3.5 star meal with 5 star service after playing baseball in Melbourne. We had 8 hungry guys for dinner, and everyone was happy with those drinks & food. I was surprised how much I liked my lamb chops, with a loaded baked potato and chopped salad. My margarita carafe was amazing also. I would definitely dine here again

Small building with dinning area and attached bar. Salad bar was small with a small variety of items. Food began and stayed steady and plentiful. Bacon wrapped filet, bacon wrapped chicken and the garlic steak were the three best. All meat could've used more seasoning. They had a 14 meat variety. I had ice water and an old fashion. Drink was good. Some of the guys had the key lime pie, cheesecake, and hot lava cake. All stated that it was good. All in all it was a good experience and I would eat here again because I like the meat variety. It was priced about $60 plus tax per person for the supper and a water. They do provide the cheese rolls like TDB along with fried plantains, a fried cornbread and mashed potatoes with chives.

Everything our group tried was delicious, my party absolutely loved it. If red meat isn't your thing, they do have a salad bar option available. It's on the pricier side, but for the amount and quality of food you get, I think it's totally fair. Great experience overall and worth it for a special night out.

They have the hot griddles built into the tables so that you can make your own pancakes which is what they're known for. We didn't have to wait for a table and the service was pretty quick. I started with a blood orange mimosa (only $6.95) and it was a very generous size. For my entree, I got the 2-pancake stack breakfast combo. I opted for the lemon poppyseed pancakes (which the kitchen cooks), cheesy eggs, and bacon. My husband got the southern breakfast, and our friend got one of their scramble skillets. Everything was amazing!

I joke of course, hipster is the theme, but of course they welcome everyone. And everyone should come. Staff is great. The place is clean and we loved the decor. Mostly, we loved our dishes. I had the shaved ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Loved the roll and Cole slaw. Now if they had some creamy horseradish for it, homerun. All in all, an excellent Sammy. My wife had the pulled pork Bennie. I am not a fan of pulled pork, but I must admit my fork wandered over to the plate a few times. She loved the dish as well. It was so big, we took half home. And there is where I may have finished it without permission. LOL. I really wish Yelp had the half star option. 4 1/2 is more appropriate. Go here. You won't be disappointed.

The fatty portion of my Prime Rib was excessive. I get that ribeye-style cuts derive flavor from fat, but this was to the point where it overwhelmed the dish and left me wishing I had ordered the lower-cost ribeye instead. On top of that, it came out medium instead of medium-rare, which didn't help. That said, others at the table ordered the NY Strip and Ribeye, and both looked excellent--cooked properly and more in line with what I'd expect from a steakhouse at this level. Highlights of the meal: Brazilian sliders were fantastic--definitely a must-order appetizer Oxtail stroganoff was rich and well executed Mac & cheese was a solid side Cocktails were creative and well made Overall, I've had better steaks at lower price points, but also worse ones at higher-end spots. Based on what I saw from other dishes, I'd absolutely give Ember & Oak another shot--just not with the Prime Rib next time.

I feel like this place has rested on its laurels - for the worse. We've been coming since 2020 or…read more2021. Coming from Dallas, a city with a steakhouse on practically every corner, I can say we definitely know our steaks and steak house experiences. We also travel all over the world looking for the best steak experiences locally. When we first came here, we thought we'd found Melbourne's best. The closest to fine dining steak back home. But over the years, things have just slidden down hill. The once impressive share board has A) not changed in its inclusions during this 5+ year span; and B) gone down in quality considerably. If you look at the pictures of our boards over the years you'll see the Caesar used to be long, elegant romaine leaves with the most delicious lemony-crunchy topping with superior house made dressing. Now it has boring store-looking croutons, no lemon-crunch topping, and the dressing tastes as boring as the salad looks. The potato used to be a large, hassleback prepared encased in a blanket of cheese with another delicious cheese dressing poured on top of that. Now, they just dump a bunch of wet something in the middle of an open lackluster potato. Not only are the items themselves getting more boring, but the board itself being the same for 6 years is boring. Why not change it up? If you can't make an actually good Caesar anymore, why not swap it for a wedge? If you can't be bothered to make a presentable potato - one of the cheapest things for a restaurant to do - why not do some au gratin? Or, why not have 2-3 different boards for people to choose from? Why did they just give up on this concept and themselves? Yes - you can order individual separate sides, but you can do that anywhere. What made this restaurant stand out, and shine like steakhouses in bigger cities, is now dragging them down. We've also really struggled with the hosts over the years. Rude. Inattentive. Not seating in a timely manner despite reservations and an empty restaurant. Being forced into uncomfortably tiny 2-seaters where you feel like you're on a date with the tables next to you. This is the most unromantic thing to do to diners. I would usually never complain about prices at a steakhouse. Again, steakhousing is a hobby of ours and we are fully invested. But... the prices USED to be completely justified given the quality food and experiences. Now... I'd say there are plenty of other restaurants in town with better quality, better service, better vibes - for a better price. I miss the patio vibes. I miss wine by the fire pits. I miss friendly servers and hosts and well-executed offerings. That's such a bummer. If their business couldn't sustain the patio area, maybe they should have thought about why people weren't coming back and made efforts to correct that. Instead of taking away the things they still had going for themselves and flopping on the things they continued offering. What used to be a beautiful location with great service and a thoughtful menu is now a played out shell of its former self. I've shared feedback with the restaurant multiple times over the years, and nothing changes. Like... literally nothing changes unless it's actually getting worse. It's gone downhill, guys. No matter how many videos you post on social of your chefs and how proud you are of your food... I will not be fooled, again.

Worried about spice but heat was regulated well and added to the dish. We had the Miso Sake Black Cod. Bill says Sablefish???? It was a good portion but not really enough and there was a tad too much miso soup. And with no sides included it was a an OK value. Bronzed salmon and crab was a big hit and very delicious. Came with a salad and a dessert. Good value since it was so good. Caesar salad was good and the crème brûlée was also very good. Off the early dine menu the Chimichurri steak and shrimp was tender and the shrimp well seasoned. It also came with soup or slad and New England Clam chowder served was very good. Crème brûlée to finish and all good. Another in our party had Halibut and lobster risotto and while tasty fell short of the sixty dollar price tag with no sides on portion alone. The kimchee fried calamari tasted more like a bang‑bang style dish, with no real kimchee flavor.
