The doctor who did my exam was friendly and efficient, as was the person I consulted about ordering the new lens. But unfortunately, my good experience ended there. As I wanted to keep my current eyewear frames, I had to turn them in to be shipped for the installment of the lens. Fine. I was told it would be a week to ten days to get the new glasses back, so I waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, after TWENTY days I called and was told they were indeed in. And when I asked when they had arrived, I was told a date THIRTEEN days prior. When I voiced my objection to not being notified then, the person said I had been notified-- which was a lie. I have reviewed my contacts, and I received NO phone call, NO voicemail, NO text message, and NO email that the new glasses were in. An unnecessary, nearly two-week delay. That is NO way to conduct business! read more

We are 5 clients from our family that have been with Westminster Look Optical for years but now they've done something that I think is unfair, I went to renew my daughters contacts but instead of making a prescription test beforehand because of the new year, They instead gave her wrong prescription. When I went back to ask to get a new pair I was told I had to pay for them.. On a mistake in their part they are making me pay for it. So Im taking the choice to leave this company and switch optical docters. Definitely do not recommend to anyone as they failed to help. read more

The front desk is polite and helpful, but coming in for my first eye exam in a decade, I certainly expected a little more assistance in navigating a couple questions I wasn't prepared for. The optometrist is AMAZING. Extremely knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very helpful. The biggest take away is DONT GET GLASSES HERE. I mistakenly did, knowing that I would be paying a premium but accepted it as the customer service from the person helping me was great. I ordered my glasses knowing that I had some upcoming travel coming up in a week and asked the front desk if I could get my glasses in 7 days, rather than in 10 days they suggested. My request was acknowledged and I was told that I should be able to pick them up before I left for my trip. Unfortunately, that was a lie. TL;DR Great place to get your eyes examined. I had gone here for years and then moved away for several years only to return a few months ago. I found myself needing more contacts and I contacted them to find Dr. Morris still working there. She is ALWAYS super pleasant and always listens to my problems and very helpful in helping me find the perfect contacts and glasses. Also Hassan the assistant is very helpful. My only problem are the girls in the front are kinda rude and act like your not important .... except for the new one that just started a few weeks ago. read more

This place was terrible in terms of time and customer service. They also had a very limited selection of frames. First off, the staff in the office just seemed like inexperienced people who really didn't know what they were doing and were not professional at all. They excelled at being apathetic in most of their interactions. Second, it took me over two weeks to get my glasses. This was after the salesperson originally told me 7 to 10 days. When I called after a week (7 days) they said that they were waiting for my frames. The lenses were done. It took 10 more days to finally get the frames and completed glasses. When I went in to pick the glasses up, the woman at the front desk simply handed them to me. She did not ask or automatically offer to have someone fit them. She just handed them to me. I went over to a mirror and tried them on. And then asked the woman if there was anything else. She offhandedly said no. And I left. Never to go back there. I rarely give bad reviews but Look Optical was terrible. UPDATE: Adam R of Look Optical contacted me the same day I posted this review to apologize for the terrible service. The reason I give Look Optical a five star is bc of Jose and his salesmanship. So seldom you find a sale Sc person that takes his time explains everything. Let's you decide from options. He could tell I wasn't that enthused about the frames I picked out so even though those fr as he's were the most expensive in the store, he led me to a pair that were just as good and better fit but much cheaper. I've been going to this location since 2009, but today really made me want to write a review. They have always given me good service, I've always gotten what I've expected, and at a good price. Today, my boyfriend, Shawn's, glasses broke in half. It was very disheartening since we just bought these glasses in the last 6 months and they were very expensive lenses. I felt so bad for him; he's been walking around in prescription sunglasses all day. Anyway, we brought the glasses down, they were able to find him a pair that would fit his old lenses and had them ready in about an hour. The gentleman that runs this store is truly top class. He sat with my boyfriend adjusting the new glasses for about 15 minutes until they were perfect. Not only did they give us top quality service, but they gave us a discount on the frames and we got out for around $50. We would have gone back anyway, but now they have a special place in my heart. We will be longtime customers with Look Optical. read more

Do NOT go here. I have been back 3 times with the same glasses and am still very unhappy. I first went to get glasses here because I didn't want the mall experience and I liked the hours. The selection is very poor for frames, but I dealt with that and found some I liked. I found some nice Nike frames. 1 month later the nose piece (that rests on the bridge of your nose) kept coming apart. I finally went back and they gave me a new pair of frames which was nice, but the same exact thing happened a month later. The lenses also easily popped out of the frames all the time. Horrible fit... I finally decided to just start super gluing the nose piece. After about 30 times of gluing I went back again. They said pick a new different frame.. Ugh.. So I found one that I liked, and the owner guy had to make my lenses fit into the frames. He shaved and cut my lenses to fit into a completely different frame I did not pick. At this point I was so frustrated I just dealt with them. So, now they fall off my head when I look down. What a joke. I'm done dealing with this horrible place. do yourself a favor, and just go to the mall where the prices are better and they have 10x the selection and much better service. read more

I'd been looking for quite a while for an optometrist who accepted my insurance and was thrilled when I discovered a location close to home that did just that. Ease of making an appointment was a nice initial impression. When I arrived (30 minutes prior to my appointment), there were two people at the front desk, both looked at me and then looked back down. The gentleman was assisting another woman, so I could understand not being verbally acknowledged by him. The woman sitting next to him behind the desk however, looked up at me, didnt smile, didn't say ANYTHING, just looked back down and went about whatever it was she was doing. I decided to stand off to the side rather than sit down so as not to increase the chance of being "forgotten" since it didn't seem to be a "priority" to the staff (at this point in time) to so much as acknowledge my existence in the building. I stood off to the side for about 2-3 minutes, the woman who was being assisted by the male behind the counter had left, and there I was, still standing. Another older gentleman, who was sitting down with another patient/customer going over her prescription for new glasses, actually excused himself momentarily to ask me if I'd been helped. I told him I was here for a new patient appointment at noon. This prompted the male behind the counter to start assisting me by giving me the proper paperwork. (Still no acknowledgement or "friendliness" from the female behind the counter.) After filling the paperwork out, I was taken back by the male tech (from behind the counter)--from there he became very nice, cordial, helpful, etc. I met with the doctor, she was very sweet (didn't introduce herself, but that was my only "issue" with her) --I found out her name after looking at my appointment work up sheet--when I was at home. After I'd been seen by the doc, I was supposed to pick out a new pair of frames. The male tech showed me to the different displays and I was able to choose a pair, he broke down the cost of everything for me very well and made an effort to get to know me (which speaks volumes to me). As I walked out, the female behind the counter FINALLY acknowledged me by saying "have a good day", but didn't even make eye contact. Oh well right? Overall, I'd recommend this business, just don't have high expectations of the front office staff on being "friendly" but all in all, they were able to help me- the doctor even provided a few insights for me to better understand why I have been getting migraines for the past 8 years. read more

I went to the Loop Optical in Westminster with Dr Sarah Moore, she is amazing. She takes the time to find a way to help. I went in for glasses and contacts and am trying to find the right contacts for my needs. I am over 50 and getting the right contacts for near and far has been difficult. I went there simply to get an eye exam for contacts because of a coupon I received in the mail. After about an hour and a half of them continuously pushing to have more "work" done and upcharges the final cost for the exam went from 79-140$. When I made it clear I wasn't signing up for all the stuff apparently needed to get the eye exam I wanted, I was treated with rudeness and disrespect. I had to go to another business to get the information I needed, and they gave the answers and measurements in matter of minutes and did so free of charge. I don't recommend this branch of look optical, they made me feel terrible just trying to get a fair price on an eye exam. read more

I called trying to get an inquiry about what benefits my insurance covered. It was through my medical insurance so it was a little bit more difficult to look up. The lady that I spoke to was very rude to begin with - she told me that with my insurance it only covered exams and contact lenses (I wanted glasses). I then called over to United health care to check on my benefits, they did state that I was fully covered for exams, glasses, and lenses and they showed in their system that 'Look Optical' was a full service provider. Thinking that it may have been a mistake, I decide to call back to check again. I get the same lady, and she was even more rude that before, she yells on the phone that "I already spoke to you and I told you that we do not accept your insurance for glasses" I kindly told her that I called over to my insurance and explained to them what they told me. She still proceeded to yell over the phone and just state the same thing over and over again. I then asked her that UHC stated if I had any issues that they could get in contact with them directly - she told me that they had no interest in calling them because regardless it was not going to be approved. I then asked to speak to her manager because she was not offering to help me, she asked me how she was not willing to help and I respond with I asked her numerous times kindly to call over and help me understand, and even if they still were not able to get me the glasses through insruance at least update their company with UHC so it did not show as a full provider. She then hangs up the phone. I decide to call back again, furious, and she answers and I ask, again, to speak to her manager, she proceeds to tell me that their "manager" is on vacation and the "person in charge" was on lunch. I got her name, Cynthia, and just told her I would be calling back later to file a complaint. The funny thing about all of this is I had not even been into the store yet and already experienced one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Everyone was extremely helpful. I came in about fifteen minutes early for my appointment, and they got me started away. Dr. Moore was friendly, quick, and very competent. At no point did I feel rushed through my eye exam, and by the end, we were even joking around. I got contacts and glasses from them, and they clearly and patiently explained the difference in prices and options, and I ended up getting an entire box of contacts for free by ordering a year's supply. This is the best place to go. The customer service is remarkable. I love Sarah Moore and everyone else that works there. They go leaps and bounds for there customers. I have such a hard time with allergies in my eyes. I wear contacts and can always get in right away to get my eyes feeling better. I have asked the to switch from daily contacts, to bi-weekly contacts to monthly. Sometimes I have felt like I have been a pain for them, they always work with me. And always with a smile. Do NOT go here. I was promptly waited on for my appointment but waited in the exam room for 25 minutes for the Dr. To come do the exam. I walked out. I wasn't told or acknowledged that the Dr. Was running late. You come to expect this sometimes but i was only the second appointment of the day! My time is important too! I had to call my insurance because these people put a hold on my account because they put a reserve anticipating that they would be submitting a claim on my account! I never got my exam and thankfully they didn't put a claim on it but still what a PAIN!!!! Too bad the staff are so nice but the Dr. Is not timely or considerate. If i could give a zero rating i would. They USED to have great service...what a disappointment. read more
