We received the bestest service from Kathy and she made the experience! To be fair everyone was amazing and so friendly - but Kathy was fun and shared some of her favorites. I was going to get a burger as it was what they were known for but she sold me on the amazing Greek salad! I had the salad with souvlaki and ordered a Bloody Mary, it was just the right amount of spice and tang, thanks for squeezing my lime bartender! It's a huge diner and not too busy on a Sunday for brunch at 1pm, walked right in. Clean and open dining area. The manager came and checked in on all the customers too. They are known for Greek food and amazing breakfast - apparently burgers and Mexican food too. Can't go wrong with their large menu. Solid diner food with a lot of options. There is a mixture of American, Mexican, Mediterranean, etc. items on the menu. This gives people more choices but I also feel nothing is going to be absolutely perfect! I got the Greek salad with lamb, which was good. The Taziki had a weird texture and I did not end up eating it. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which is not my thing. He gave it a 3/5. Fast and friendly service but pretty generic food. I'm glad we got seated right away on a Sunday around 1 pm. It was pretty busy and the parking lot was pretty full. I've driven by this restaurant many times but never thought to come eat here until my friend told me she loved it. Not sure what she ordered but I always order a side of biscuits and gravy, and as you can tell from my picture, the gravy looks meh and same with the biscuits. The picture of the food actually looked better than it tasted. The food wasn't bad really but just not something I would crave again. My bf was not impressed with his meal which was the Angela's Biscuits and Gravy (or something) which cost $17! Pretty expensive for a divey, diner place like this. Sure it was a decent size portion but the pancakes weren't good at all and potatoes weren't crispy enough. They serve alcohol here for those interested. And there's a bunch of Elvis decor. My family and I were visiting from out of town and this place is close to where we were staying. We gave this spot a try. The vibe is interesting. It feels like a cozy, small town diner but with a mediterranean flare almost? It is charming, though! Our wait staff was very friendly and attentive. All three of us ordered the gyro sandwich. The home fries were standard french fries and were fine. The steak fries were fine (personally we don't prefer them). I got a side greek salad, which was enormous and $7. The salad itself was very good but way too big to be a "side." All of us were pleased with the gyro meat and the sandwich itself. Well cooked and well seasoned! However, I do believe I got food poisoning from the salad. I became very ill the night we ate here. I was the only one to get sick and I was also the only one to have a salad. That, unfortunately, negatively impacts my thoughts on the restaurant. The food was good overall, which makes getting sick a bummer. read more

Bad value as it is overpriced with small portions. Yana's down the street or even Denny's is a better diner type restaurant as the food quality and quantity is not what the price would represent. The service is always excellent, but it does not make up for the overpriced bad food. - No options other than french fries with the kids meals? Come on really? What is this 1985? Here Junior, get a head-start on your heart disease. I told the waitress my kids did not want the french fries and I asked if they could have anything instead. I suggested any kind of vegetables or anything other than french fries, and she said "sorry there's really nothing else" and then five seconds later she said, "do you want onion rings? I assumed that meant the onion rings were an equal option for the french fries. Now I'm confused. Lol. My son said sure, great. My sons eyes lit up when she mentioned onion rings, and he said sure. My daughter was offered fruit as well and I thought, wow, this is great! At first she said there's no substitute for french fries, and now she's offering her fruit. That's great. When I get the bill, the fruit was five dollars for a small bowl of strawberries and bananas. They charged a dollar extra for three, literally three small onion rings. Are you serious? ---She never told me there was an extra charge for the fruit OR the onion rings that she suggested! Isn't that illegal? Or at least highly unethical?-- Talk about nickel and diming somebody to death. That same bowl of fruit at many other diners is like $3. Denny's at least has options other than french fries for the kids meals so you don't have to give them atherosclerosis. -The meat patties on the kids hamburgers were completely misshapen. They looked like ovals with chunks missing out of the middle. I'm thinking maybe it was Play-Doh and not really ground beef. My vegetable omelette was average in taste, and small in size with maybe 2 1/2 or three small eggs. It was $15.99! Extremely over priced. At many other breakfast places, a three egg omelette is closer to the $10-$13 range. -The coffee tasted completely bland, and, like the coffee pot had not been cleaned. A smaller sized breakfast for me and my 9 year old kids was $49!, and my son was still hungry! I've been to some over priced restaurants recently, but there's still a lot of restaurants out there that present a good value. The Lookin Good Lounge is ridiculously over priced for what you get in the quality of food. There are so many other better value diners within a short drive. I always ask myself the same question, how is this place is still here? Needless to say, I will never return. We will go to Yanna's Cafe, Westwood Inn, Swifts, Denny's any of the other close by diner style restaurants that present a much better value. read more

This place is simply incredible! Huge parking lot, and as soon as you walk through the door you're greeted by the friendliest of people and sat right away. The service the entire time was top notch. The decor is retro diner with a Greek flare and I loved every single moment of it. We had the Gyro with sweet potato fries and a The club sandwich with a Greek Salad and both were insane. They use carved turkey for the club and the best bacon you've ever had. The Gyro is HUGE and the Greek salad was a full salad not side salad size. We topped it off with 2 Long Island Ice Teas and basically needed to be rolled out of the place. I can see this place becoming a regular staple for us even though we live about 40 mins away!!! read more

I have been driving by this restaurant for a decade. Today, I finally opted to stop in and I'm glad I did. This is a local favorite about five miles from my house and now I know why. I was greeted and sat immediately. The host, a wonderful man who I think spoke Greek, seated me immediately. Water and coffee was ordered and delivered within a minute. Extremely fast and efficient. I ordered a breakfast quesadilla and my friend ordered a vegetarian omelette with pancakes. Get this..... both were delivered within three minutes of ordering them. It was so fast, I was sure they were giving us the wrong order. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were extremely generous. My coffee cup nor water ever went dry. This place is really on top of things. I've been looking for a new "spot" to eat and this is now it. I was really impressed with the friendliness and atmosphere of this restaurant. I met up with friends here around 10am on a Sunday and we were seated within 10 minutes despite the place being jam packed. I was able to get a cup of coffee instantly while we looked over the massive menu. I decided to get the Mad Greek burrito since it had gyros in it and came smothered in green chile. I was also looking at the mad Greek volcano, but I was craving a burrito. I think that the addition of gyros to the breakfast makes this place unique. This burrito is a giant! The chile was flavorful and had a good amount of heat and there is also sliced jalapenos on top - perfect if you like things spicy like me. The coffee kept flowing and I made it about 70% through the burrito before I tapped out. I liked the old school feel of this place and the friendly, fast service. My husband and I absolutely love coming here! This family owned restaurant is amazing in every way. We're seated quickly and the restaurant is very clean. Our coffee/drinks are immediately served and orders taken. The wait is very minimal and I couldn't say enough about their fabulous food! Never been here before, will definitely come back. This is an old school diner in the best sense of the term. Simple food done right, at a fair price, with excellent service. The host, the server, and the bussing staff were all paying attention to detail. That's almost unheard of nowadays. If you're a foodie or expecting chef prepared gourmet food, you will be disappointed. But, if you want a good burger, or a filling breakfast done right, this place hits all the right notes. I had a bowl of the lemon chicken rice soup, (avegolemono) and it was terrific. The dinner salad was simple, but cold and crisp with a delicious blue cheese dressing. I spied some onion rings at a table nearby, and they sure looked good! The seating is comfortable, and the noise level is what you should expect. It opened in the late 1970's and the decor probably hasn't changed too much. But it is super clean! For my money, that is the most important thing.
